“..Huh.”

Looking through the list of notifications that greeted them just as Adam and Eve was done giving them their titles, the two could not help but look at each other for a bit.

Although this was the first time they’d seen notifications like these come from the system, the two began to get an inkling of a feeling that this wasn’t the first time they’d seen such notifications before.

However, with no previous recollection of coming across a similar series of notifications from the system in the past, Valyr and Ataraxia decided to set such thoughts aside for the meantime.

After all, the reason why they opened up their notifications in the first place was to take a look at their newly obtained titles.

[Two as One, One as Two] (Title)

Rarity: Divine (Special)

A skill jointly created by the Third and Fifth Administrator, instilling within it the aspirations they hold for the recipients of this title.

There exists a various number of ways for one to meet someone who would resonate with them in both body and mind. Through these circumstances, one would find someone that they wouldn’t mind spending their lives with, pursuing the pinnacle of power as if they were entity.

Among the handful number of ways that people have come to recognize in such matters, the existence of one’s future identity coming to the past is one of them, showcasing a level of compatibility and resonance that exceeds what two strangers could reach with time.

However, with the same being coming from different timelines existing in the same timeline, it is no surprise that the universe condemns this connection, deeming it as an anomaly that should be removed the moment they are discovered.

Of course, just like how there are a number of ways to meet someone they could resonate with, there also exists a number of ways that allow these two people coming from differing timelines to still coexist under the universe’s control.

Once they achieve this, only then can they tread the path to the pinnacle… whether it be as two people acting as one, or as one person acting as two.

Effects:

> Leveling up your class rank is now synchronized

> Any limitation on skill and title acquisition has been removed

> Any special identity attached to one side shall now be recognized on the other side (e.g. Defiers of Fate, Eminences, etc.)

> Both identities share the same pool of unused XP

> XP cost is multiplied by 5

————

‘The effects are definitely worse than the title Adam showed us,’ sent Valyr to Ataraxia through their shared thoughts. ‘However, in terms of how it would mesh with us overall, I’d say it’s better than the other one.’

‘Definitely.’ Ataraxia nodded in agreement, faintly smiling as he focused on the fourth effect the title had.

Thanks to the title Adam showed them a few moments earlier, both of them already knew about most of the effects on the title. In fact, it was because they saw some of the title’s effects beforehand that they were ecstatic to find out that the XP cost multiplier had been reduced from 25 to 5.

With that, only the mystery of the fourth effect remained, which informed them that both identities would now share the same pool of unused XP.

‘Hmm…’ Rubbing his chin for a bit as he looked at it, Ataraxia looked at Valyr, who quickly looked back at him as a thought popped up in his mind.

‘Say… do you think this title removes all of the XP we haven’t used?’

At the very moment Ataraxia received this question from the young man, the former could not help but inwardly shudder as he dreaded the idea of him losing close to 25 billion XP without him even using it.

Both curious and panicking towards the current state of his unused XP, he went ahead and opened up his status screen to see how much XP he currently had…

Only to notice that it was a couple billion points higher than before.

Unused XP (Shared): 26,885,186,242

“…Huh.”

Taking note of this, Ataraxia quickly understood how their unused XP now worked, prompting him to look at Valyr with excitement as he told him to check on how much XP he currently had.

Curious as to what made his other identity excited all of a sudden, the young man went ahead and did as he was told, only to be left at a loss for words once he noticed that the previous 2.3 billion or so XP he had was now nearing the 27 billion mark.

‘Wait a second…’ Glancing at the number that greeted him a couple more times, Valyr eventually realized what was going on, causing his eyes to widen in both disbelief and excitement as he turned to look at Ataraxia. ‘Since both of the unused XP we had were combined…’

‘That means… a lot of new possibilities have been unlocked.’

‘…We’ll have to figure out all of the specifics behind it once all of this is over,’ replied Ataraxia, suppressing the excitement he felt towards the discovery. ‘However, if the gut feeling I’m getting is correct, then what you said just now might just be the direction we’re heading in.’

‘…Though, I don’t know how our levels now being synchronized would change that.’

Satisfied with the information they’ve collected on their first title for the meantime, the two eventually went ahead and looked at the second title they received from the two Administrators.

‘Since we made the choice of having this title be the focus, how much has the title improved from its original version?’

‘…Guess it’s time to find out.’
