MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith
Chapter 1544 - 1544: Meeting the Administrators Again (4)“…”
“…The right box.”
Pointing at the box to their right, both Valyr and Ataraxia made up their minds as a solemn expression appeared on their faces.
In response to their choice, both Adam and Eve looked at each other for a bit, causing silence to envelop the entire room as slight disbelief briefly appeared on their faces.
Fortunately, the silence did not last long.
“Honestly, you two made a great choice.” Looking at the duo once more, the two Administrators gave them smiles of satisfaction as they began to speak.
“If I were in your shoes, I would’ve made the same choice of going with the right as well,” said Eve, prompting Adam to nod in agreement. “Even if I were limited to the amount of information we’d given to you two, I’d still choose the right box over the left.”
“After all, increased comprehension rate is something that would always be effective no matter what level of power you reach.”
“On the other hand, the enhanced version of the title related to your fusion… doesn’t scale all that well in the higher levels.”
Seeing as Valyr and Ataraxia were already determined to see their choice to the very end, Adam went ahead and showed to the two the title they would’ve gotten if they were to go with the left box instead.
Whoosh!

[Fates Intertwined, Stars Aligned] (Title)
Rarity: Divine (Special)
A skill jointly made by the Third and Fifth Administrator.
Throughout the various eras the universe has gone through, there have been tales and stories of couples that feel like they were made to complement each other’s abilities.
Among them, there are some who feel like the other side is a part of a greater whole. However, among even those in that group, there exists a rare selection of couples who feel like they were made to trek the path to the pinnacle… as one.
Effects:
> Leveling up your class rank is now synchronized
> Leveling up your skills is now synchronized
> All skills and titles obtained on one side shall also be usable by the other side (applies retroactively)
> Any limitation on skill and title acquisition has been removed
> Any time difference that exists on both sides is negated
> Any special identity attached to one side shall now be recognized on the other side (e.g. Defiers of Fate, Eminences, etc.)
> XP cost is multiplied by 25

Though they were slightly caught off guard by the screen that appeared before them, the two went ahead and focused their attention on it after Adam told them by the side that the screen currently contained the fusion-related title they would’ve gotten if they chose the left box.
Unsurprisingly, as they began to read through the effects that the title would’ve given them, both of them began to feel a hint of regret welling up within them.
However, as they continued to go down the list, that regret gradually turned into immense relief.
“Holy fuck we dodged a massive bullet,” said Valyr after they were done reading through the screen’s contents, prompting Ataraxia to continuously nod in agreement.
“There’s a lot of upsides to the title… but some of the upsides feel more like downsides.”
Among the various effects the title had, the effect that felt the most detrimental to the two was the one that allowed both identities to have the same skills and titles.
Then again, such a thing was completely self-explanatory, especially if one were to consider the massive number of skills both identities had even before the possibility came to mind.
Although they were able to achieve a similar effect through [Soul Fusion], there was still a difference between temporarily having access to skills you didn’t have at first to combining a vastly different skill set to the one you already had.
In a way, the effect felt more like it was diluting what made each identity stand out, which was only worsened by the fact that their XP cost would be greatly increased by the title.
Add on the fact that the two would be forced to bear additional challenges whether they wanted to or not with the effect of sharing special identities, the two felt as if a massive weight had been lifted off their shoulders thanks to their decision of choosing the right box.
“Shall we proceed with giving you titles, then?” Seeing that the two were finished reading through the title that could’ve been theirs, Eve went ahead and asked Adam to dispel the screen as she shifted the conversation back to its original topic.
As the two nodded in response to her question, Ataraxia took the opportunity to ask one in return. “Now that I think about it… when will we be separated?”
“After we give you the titles,” replied Eve as she began to manifest energy around her once more. “The titles would actually be more effective if we give it to you now rather after we separate your identities.”
Hearing her explanation, the two decided to remain silent as Eve went ahead and did her thing.
Swoosh!
Sending a series of energy strands to wrap around the two, the woman then turned to look at Adam, who went ahead and sent a series of strands to him to wrap around the two as well.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Finely manipulating the strands revolving around the two according to the diagram they had in mind, Adam and Eve slowly sent the strands into the duo’s bodies one by one, causing a wave of information to start surging within both of their minds.
As time continued to pass, the waves of information gradually grew larger and larger, eventually reaching a point where all of the information the two Administrators were putting into their minds were causing the two indescribable pain.
Thankfully, just as Valyr and Ataraxia felt like they were nearing the point where they’d fall unconscious from the pain, all of the pain that previously wreaked havoc in their minds disappeared without a trace.
Instead, a sense of harmony with themselves and their entire surroundings took its place, prompting the two to go ahead and check on their notifications a few seconds later.
