"Wait." Lafanxa raised her hands to the sides, not allowing Lirel and Getty to continue moving forward. They were slightly far from each other, but they understood and stopped, even though they were confused.

Lafanxa was by far the most experienced expert in their trio. She had gone through many life-and-death experiences in her life, so her instincts were sharp. Something wasn’t right!

Roan continued walking with a cold expression on his face. For a moment, Lafanxa took a step back as her eyes widened. Nothing had happened yet, but she could swear she felt like she had seen a dark shadow covering Roan’s body for an instant. It wasn’t an ability; it wasn’t something Roan did; that was just an impression, a result of Lafanxa’s own experiences coming back to alert her. Her legs began to tremble ever so slightly; the warning was clear: it was fear!

Lafanxa’s form changed in the next second. A giant Red Glittering Hibiscus appeared as the laws of Wood gathered.

That made Lirel and Getty quite surprised. Was there really a need to change back to her real form to deal with that ant?

"Get ready!" Lafanxa understood better, though. That wasn’t an ant. That wasn’t an expert at their level, either. That young man was something more, something terrifying. At this very moment, she wanted nothing more than to run away from this place, but she knew the rules of this arena way too well. There was only one way out, and that was killing your enemy!

"Do not hold back!" Lafanxa shouted and countless spores began to come out of her. They carried a sweet fragrance, but what they caused was anything but sweet. They were a powerful air poison, something that even Peak Stage Divinity Realm Expert would do their utmost to avoid. At the same time, thorns sprout from her body, detaching one after another and creating a whirlwind of thorns mixed with that poison. "That guy is no ant; he is a monster!"

Roan’s eyebrow raised a little. It was the second time already that he met someone with such sharp instincts. ’I guess it makes sense. The level of the experts of the Werdlem Empire is way higher than back home,’ he thought.

Lirel and Getty were lost. A monster?

"Hahaha!" Lirel laughed out loud. "Come on. Where is this monster you ar-"

"I have to say," a cold void cut Lirel’s words, "this old hag hasn’t lived for nothing."

Lirel had no time to react. No, to be more specific, he should have been able to react with his level. After all, they are all supressed to the Transition Realm. Yet, he found Lafanxa’s words so ridiculous that they actually distracted him for a split second. Too bad that split second was all Roan needed.

"Careful!" Lafanxa’s Thorns shot forward, trying to strike Roan from one side.

Getty was different, though. The moment Lafanxa told him Roan wasn’t what they thought, he had already reverted back to his Red Glittering Hibiscus form. He used the same attack as Lafanxa, trying to pincer Roan with Lafanxa’s help. Seeing Roan’s speed, he was happy he heard the warning and took it seriously.

"Hmph!" Roan didn’t seem to give a damn, though.

Before the thorns could block Roan, his speed multiplied! The thorns missed, and he appeared right in front of Lirel, who was way too late to transform and defend now!

Yes, Roan used Rean’s new skill, the Red Lightning Enhancement, which Rean called ’Red Life, Enhancement,’ to give birth to a new movement technique.

So far, the twins have only used two different movement techniques. The first was the Shadow Steps, mainly used on the ground. The second was the Shadow Air, mainly used on the air. If used in a dark place or inside Roan’s Death World Domain, they were even better.

Still, both skills were actually slower than just using Rean’s new enhancement skill, the one that circulated Red Lightning fused with Light Element through the body. The problem was that Rean’s skill also caused damage to their bodies. So, there was a need for a new movement technique that could avoid that problem. That’s when Roan came up with the Third Movement Form, Crimson Lightning.

By using that skill, the amount of Red Lightning necessary to circulate through the body was reduced while there was no loss in speed or power.

Rean said it before. The damage they received was mostly due to their inexperience and their low cultivation. The better their proficiency and the higher their cultivation gets, the better they will avoid these issues. At some point, these problems would disappear completely.

However, would Roan really wait so long to be able to use such a powerful ability freely? Hell no!

Sure, Rean’s new Red Lightning Enhancement was the core of Roan’s new Movement Skill, but he couldn’t care less. As long as it made him stronger, even the idiot’s ideas were more than welcome.
