Once the party from the Adventurer’s Guild had finished checking out the dungeon, it didn’t take long for adventurers to come seeking fortune.

In the end, the two from the Adventurer’s Guild had set this dungeon as a D Rank Dungeon, which was what we had been aiming for in the first place.

After all, most of the adventurers in the world were around D Rank in the first place, so it wasn’t as if it was a bad thing to be around the average rank of adventurers. This would allow the maximum number of people to enter the dungeon.

At the same time, since this place was a new dungeon, there were plenty of people that were excited about exploring it.

There was no telling what kind of treasures were in this dungeon.

That meant that they had to find a place to stay while they were exploring the dungeon.

The only place for them to stay was the inn that Lin Fan and Rokuko had prepared.

However, with the way that the adventurers packed in, it really didn’t seem like they were just here to explore the dungeon.

With the way that they ordered their food, it was as if they were just here to have a meal.

The food that the inn served was on a completely different level that they were always busy even when their rooms were full. As long as they could have a meal, the people didn’t care if they had to eat standing.

As such, it became much too busy for Lin Fan and Rokuko to run on their own.

But they had already expected this and had made their preparations.

The second day that the adventurers came, there were new workers that appeared in the inn.

These new workers seemed to have appeared out of thin air with how they had suddenly appeared, but that wasn’t that far from the truth. In reality, these workers were monsters that had been summoned from the dungeon system.

Only they were monsters that were humanoids which allowed them to easily blend into human society.

It was just like how Agnus acted as the right hand woman of Haku. At the same time, there was an identity that Agnus had that was a surprise for both Lin Fan and Rokuko.

Agnus was also the minister of finance for the Laver Empire in addition to being the head maid for Haku.

To be the minister of finance for the entire Laver Empire was certainly not an easy job. Yet she still had enough time to act as the head maid for Haku’s castle, which just went to show how high spec Agnus was.

Though in terms of the monsters that Lin Fan and Rokuko summoned…

“Where’s my food?”

“Is there anyone here to take our orders?”

“Is there no one taking new guests?”

Well, it wasn’t the best, but at least there were more people working here.

The ones that Lin Fan chose were a bunch of different races, but they were all monsters that had humanoid forms. The problem was the difference in DP that Lin Fan and Rokuko had compared to the amount of DP that Haku had.

In the first place, the humanoid monsters cost more because they were humanoids in the first place. This meant that they had a higher potential since they could blend right in with humans.

At the same time, there was a higher stat potential compared to other monsters that allowed them to become stronger once they developed.

But their early stats made it hard for them to compare to other monsters.

So the low dexterity that they had made it so that they were quite bad at their jobs.

The one thing that they had going for them though was the fact that they were cute girls.

That was the one thing that Lin Fan made sure that these girls had for them since who could be angry towards cute girls?

And it turned out that it worked.

Even though there were complaints because of the poor performance, there wasn’t anyone that actually left or did anything after complaining. They still patiently waited for the girls to fulfill their orders.

With the way that it went, it didn’t take long for more and more adventurers to arrive and soon there were other professions that arrived as well.

There were merchants that followed the adventurers, there were cooks that wanted to open restaurants, and there was even a blacksmith that came to provide weapons to the adventurers.

It seemed that everything that was needed to create a town here came once the adventurers came.

But that wasn’t strange.

Everyone knew that to earn money, one needed to take risks.

Other than the adventurers, there were plenty of other jobs that needed to be done.

In a place like this that wasn’t developed yet, they would be able to earn far more as there was less competition.

The only problem was that there weren’t any facilities for them.

Or that would have been the case if not for Lin Fan.

After these people arrived, the first thing that Lin Fan did was ask them what they required.

When the next day came, these things suddenly appeared out of thin air. It was as if there was someone that had built these buildings in the middle of the night.

When they asked Lin Fan about this, he just told them that it was his special magic.

Though in reality, what it actually was was the dungeon system.

He used his DP to create these facilities for them and put them up in the middle of the night.

That was how this town rapidly developed.

After a certain point, there was a discussion on who should be the mayor for this town. And because of all the things that Lin Fan had done previously, there was no question when they named him the mayor.

With that, Lin Fan achieved one of the things that they had planned.

All that was left now was for the dungeon town to continue growing until it was time for them to turn it into a proper town. After that, all that was left was for Haku to send a notice appointing Lin Fan as the lord of this place.

But that would still take a long time before it happened.

So before that, there was something that Lin Fan planned to do.

“I’m going to explore this world a bit. Can you handle the dungeon while I’m gone?”

Rokuko was completely caught off guard when Lin Fan asked her this question.

During this time, she had been working hard managing both the inn and the dungeon. Instead of having Yue Lan take care of things for her, she was actually managing everything on her own.

For once, she felt fulfilled in the things that she was doing.

But for Lin Fan to suggest this all of a sudden was like taking this away from her.

“Why?”

That was all that Rokuko asked with a serious look on her face.

Lin Fan of course had already expected Rokuko to react in this manner.

It wasn’t as if he was blind, he had long seen the way that Rokuko acted and knew what she was thinking.

So he had naturally thought of what to say to her after telling her this.

“You’re the one that I trust to take care of this place while I explore this magic continent. Not only do we need more information about this place for the upcoming invasion, we also need to see if there are any good resources here that we can bring back to make everyone stronger.”

Rokuko’s expression started to falter a bit when she heard this.

After all, Rokuko knew that Lin Fan was right about this.

But she still couldn’t help feeling a bit unhappy about him leaving her alone here.

Lin Fan knew that if he were to actually bring her along, there was no doubt that Haku would throw a tantrum. If Haku threw a tantrum, there was no telling what she would actually do.

Right now, he couldn’t afford to have her do that.

So the only thing that he could do was leave behind Rokuko for if Haku ever made any sudden trips to this place.

In fact, if she were to find that Lin Fan wasn’t here and it was just Rokuko, she would be filled with joy.

However, it wasn’t as if Lin Fan could actually say this to Rokuko.

Instead, he said, “There’s no one else that I trust more than you to watch over the dungeon during this time. And I promise that I’ll keep all the trips that I make short, so you won’t be left alone for long periods of time.”

In fact, this was more because he couldn’t actually leave this place for long as the mayor.

The other part of the plan was to develop himself as the mayor and then eventually take the title of the lord of this place.

So it wasn’t as if he could actually leave this place for a long time.

But the way that he said it…

There was a blush and a trace of a happy smile that appeared on Rokuko’s face after hearing this. It was clear that the fact that Lin Fan said he trusted her had made her quite happy.

Only it wasn’t as if Rokuko could show that happiness that easily.

She had to at least pretend she wasn’t happy with this for a bit longer.

But still, she eventually said, “Alright, leave it to me.”
