Zia was bound inside the cocoon tightly, unable to break free.
While she wasn’t in any pain and could breathe properly, the fact that she couldn’t escape from her predicament made her frown.
While she didn’t feel anxious, she still felt slightly annoyed at how things turned out.
The incense that the Dragonkin lady had placed inside the room didn’t work on him because she was nearly immune to sleep, paralysis, poison, and charm.
The restrictions placed on her body also served as protection against these abilities.
‘Now, what should I do?’ Zia thought. ‘Zapar may already be aware of my current predicament, but he might just think that this was an unfortunate incident and simply continue with the original plan.’
She and Zapar were only collaborators, not best of friends.
They were simply using each other, which was very different from his relationship with Camazotz, Kamrusepa, and Paimon.
The teenage girl couldn’t access her communicator, but her mind link with her Monster Army was still active.
She was well aware that Rocky was following the Azothralls, who were headed east to where their underground base was located.
After learning about the events that had transpired in the Cygni Continent, Lucan had ordered the Azothralls to all travel underground to avoid detection.
Since they were suited to adapt and had evolved based on their current circumstances, this was a very easy thing for them to do.
And Zia, who had somewhat expected that this would happen, sighed in her heart. Sure enough, the Azothralls were really the perfect soldiers in the battlefield.
Right now, she had three options.
The first one was to allow herself to be taken to the Artemian Army and see what they planned to do with her.
‘Chances are, they had decided to kidnap me because they discovered that I hae the Chandrean bloodline,’ Zia thought.
After observing Lucan for a while, she noticed that he was very interested in her.
The conversation they had in the balcony, which one of her demons had relayed to her, was also proof that they had planned to capture her as soon as possible.
She just didn’t expect that “soon’ would come really soon.
Her original plan was to let Rocky rescue Princess Xynalia and Princess Laventia first before coming to his rescue.
However, while Rocky was following her orders, the Golden Azothrall struck, not giving the Hellfire Bal-Boa time to rescue its Master.
The second option was to wait for an opportunity to ask Camazotz for help.
With the Death Bat’s speed, it would only be a matter of time before he caught up with them.
The third option was for Zia to find a way to save herself on her own.
While this was hard, it wasn’t impossible.
Zia had several trump cards that she could use to protect herself if needed.
She had created a misconception that she relied on others for her own protection.
But who was she?
While she was now a lady, that didn’t change the fact that she was once the system of cannon fodders.
Everything that she experienced and everything that she had been through alongside her hosts was real.
Closing her eyes to concentrate, she connected with Athena, who had locked onto her position in the Cygni Continent.
‘They’re fast, but not that fast,’ Zia thought.
He had also been informed by his demons of what had happened in Velmusa City.
For now, the Artemians would be forced to stay behind for a few days, which would free them from any suspicions.
The Dragonkin Prince had also ordered his subordinates to follow the underground trail, but Zia was certain that it would be all for naught.
The Azothralls weren’t stupid.
In fact, they were very smart.
She wouldn’t be surprised if they had already closed the underground tunnel they were currently passing through right now and formed a new one to direct the pursuers to a wild goose chase.
After weighing the pros and cons of her plans, Zia decided that it might be safer to make her move once she was taken to the place where the Azothralls planned to lock her up.
Since the immediate threat of Lucan and his ministers were still in the city of Velmusa, she would have a few days to find a way to escape.
‘This is indeed the best course of action for now,’ Zia thought.
Trying to escape while the Azothralls were moving underground wasn’t a very smart choice.
In the end, Zia decided to do one thing to raise her chances of survival, and that was to sleep!
Since she would need to be in the best condition to make her escape, she decided to take a rest and let Athena wake her up once the Azothralls had stopped moving.
Meanwhile, inside Rocky’s mobile fortress…
“And that’s the situation,” Pica explained what had happened to Princess Xynalia and Princess Laventia who had just woken up.
“Damn, these bastards have gone too far!” Princess Laventia cursed loudly. Both Prince Aurelion and the Artemian Commander were both pieces of sh*t!
Prince Aurelion intoxicated them with the scentless incense to make them fall asleep so he could have his way with Zia.
There was a possibility that he wouldn’t stop there and drag the two princesses as well and make them his woman.
This would then ensure that the Velmoria Royal Family would have no choice but to become one of the Dragonkin Prince’s supporters, whether they liked it or not.
Fortunately, Rocky was on standby and ready to help its Master at any given time.
They already knew the Hellfire Bal-Boa’s abilities because Rocky had played an important role in ambushing the Azothralls in their underground base.
Princess Xynalia had remained silent as she communicated with one of the demons that were currently following Zia underground.
The succubus princess was very worried about her, especially since she was very weak and fragile in her eyes.
Thirteen’s monster army also felt the same, which was why Rocky was also desperately following their trail, waiting for an opportunity to save its Master.
They were not aware that while they, Prince Aurelion, and the rest of the Jinn Faction were panicking, the person whom they wanted to save was sleeping peacefully inside a cocoon, not at all worried about the fact that she had been kidnapped against her will.
