Bella couldn’t believe it. Nathan was actually forcing her to choose whether to take this attack head-on or use the teleportation to avoid it. There was simply no other way.

Despite saying those words, Evelyn was pretty happy because it was thanks to him she could improve.

Nathan smiled wryly, remembering what the elder said when he divined his future. His luck definitely could make the girls strong, but it might also be the reason for his downfall. This was probably what he meant.

“But my role is not to defeat you.” Nathan winked playfully despite having a hard time because of the gravity. He held her hands as tightly as possible so that she couldn’t get up.

At the same time, Jinwu and Nidhogg released their breaths at the same time. Peng activated his Celestial Wind to fuse them together.

Anubis activated his Divinity again, taking the other foot. This way, Evelyn had no way to escape.

“Surprise!” Fenrir grinned. He struck the barrier, but the gravity deflected it to the side, making him lose his balance. “!!!”

“I know you are going to appear at this time.” Evelyn harrumphed and released the burst of energy at the last moment, blasting Fenrir away.

“Heh. Impressive, but not really…” Fenrir smirked, his form gradually turning back to Mae. It turned out Mae was impersonating Fenrir.

Meanwhile, the real Fenrir appeared by using the same blink. With the contract storage, he could store two similar contracts with different recipients. Instead of space, he chose to contract the ability itself, which allowed him to pay less ena. Then again, it was all provided by the magazine.

With the Soul Contract, he should win, and without using the specific element too much, Evelyn would still be confused about the details of his innate ability.
