*Roar!*
Nidhogg was completely dominating the entire battle.
The Ent tried to form a layer of wood to stop Nidhogg, but the latter simply released his breath, burning the wood down almost instantly. After that, he flew toward him and slapped the Ent.
The Ent didn’t plan to lose easily either. He turned as big as Nidhogg and grasped Nidhogg’s hands with branches.
Nidhogg took a huge bite of the Ent’s arm and ripped it apart before spitting it out. “This is disgusting. The Yggdrasil at least had some taste.”
Once one arm was gone, Nidhogg grabbed the Ent’s body as his claws this time released the chaos side.
The agony from his own body burning was reflected in the branch’s action. They were swirling around as though they were going to wither away, but those withering parts were ripped apart by the other hand, removing the fire from his body.
The Ent was tilting its body back as though he was scared of Nidhogg, but Nidhogg simply grabbed him and formed a huge purple ring on his back. This fire ring flared up, creating six lines as though there were three pairs of wings.
These fires moved like snakes and looped around the Ent’s body.
While restoring his arm, the Ent sent forth a bit of its body to block the flame from behind. At the same time, multiple roots emerged from the ground and locked Nidhogg’s entire body.
The flame ring on his back melted a bit of it, but the Ent had skillfully locked him with a structure that was much more durable than a normal root due to the design.
Unfortunately for the Ent, his opponent was Nidhogg.
The fire ring behind him simply flared up and engulfed the restraints with his chaos fire.
To the Ent’s surprise, his roots didn’t seem to be burning alone anymore. The fire actually withered them away as though it was absorbing the life within those roots before the fire burned the carcasses.
This was Nidhogg’s chaos fire. There was a reason he was the one guiding the soul of the dead after Ragnarok. His chaos fire was perfect for the atmosphere as well as cleaning up.
With the chaos fire gradually getting back to its former glory, Nidhogg could use his flame a bit more creatively.
He first withered them to weaken the structure before burning it with the main power.
Once released, Nidhogg pounced on the Ent and released his breath toward his head.
The Ent desperately put his arm in front of his face and expanded it like that of a shield, blocking the breath.
However, it was soon gone, unable to contain Nidhogg’s fire.
Then, Nidhogg grasped the Ent’s head with his claws, which soon flared up and engulfed the Ent’s head with the chaos fire.
The Ent was wriggling around and even tried to create spikes to pierce Nidhogg’s body, albeit it was useless. The dragon’s scales simply withstood the desperate attack.
Without being able to do much against Nidhogg, the Ent was the first one to fall.
Although Nidhogg’s ability wasn’t as flashy as Jinwu’s or Anubis’ since he only had his fire and body, his power was extraordinary.
‘I have killed my enemy. Should I help the others?’ Nidhogg looked up toward the soldiers’ location. ‘No. The soldiers must be fighting against the thugs right now. We should stick to the original plan and have me disrupt the enemies.’
Nidhogg glanced at Fenrir and Jinwu first, considering they should join the fight as well if they were done.
Unfortunately, due to the few summoners he had to eliminate first, Jinwu was far from finishing his opponent.
Meanwhile, Fenrir had been overpowering the blue troll.
The troll thrust his spear in rapid succession, but Fenrir simply slapped the spear away and away again.
After that, he leaped into the air and opened his mouth.
The troll’s eyes flashed as he pierced Fenrir’s mouth without hesitation.
Unfortunately for the troll, this was bait.
The moment the spear was about to reach him, Fenrir struck the spear from the side, this time having blood-red mist covering Fenrir’s claws.
“!!!” The troll widened his eyes in shock when that slap suddenly made his spear hit the ground.
He hurriedly pulled back and gained some distance. There was no way he could lose against Fenrir, who didn’t seem to be that good at wielding his abilities.
However, the Absolute Strength Fenrir had wasn’t something that martial arts could withstand.
Once the spear was knocked away, the rest of the mist spread all over his body.
The ena on his hand started to gather as he waved it toward the troll.
The troll could feel the danger within that attack, so he hurriedly leaped into the air, only to get the shock of his life.
The moment the claw attack hit the building, it ruptured the building and ripped it apart with the claw as the center.
The building got twisted at the last second and crumbled.
“!!!” The troll didn’t know what Fenrir had just done. That simple claw attack was actually much more complex than he could comprehend.
In the end, Fenrir was the first divine beast Nathan summoned, the one who learned this world faster than anyone else. He was also the first to use the power of another world to increase his prowess.
This attack had the combination of three things: Alisha’s palm attack, Fenrir’s tail ability, and Alavenya’s martial art.
Fenrir’s tail attack was the foundation of this ability, while the red mist around his body came from his new ability, which increased the strength of one part of his body tremendously. Last but not least, Alisha’s palm attack might be weak, but the principle itself was complex.
By creating a certain flow of energy, Alisha’s palm attack had the crushing effect.
Fenrir combined all three of them and created this new attack, which might be the final form of the technique he got from that palm attack.
He named it slightly similar to the Deadly Claw, which was Distorting Claw.
And with this, he would take down the troll.
