"Will it not be exhausting if you are to create so many new bodies?" Creige couldn't help but worry. He did not want Kana to over exert herself.
"It's fine. It is not all that hard. It is just the process of fusing the bodies together that will be a bit of a pain. But it can all be done at the same time since I just need to create the spell for all of them at the same time." Kana explained. She only needed to craft the spell for all. After creating a few, now she had a decent understanding of how it all works.
"Just be careful." Creige was still worried for Kana.
Days and months passed. Preparations took a while, but Angelica had finally gathered everyone who wished to be returned to life. Out of the billions of people and different races, only about two thirds were still around, and almost all of them wanted to be returned to life. Angelica forcefully opened a passage for them to leave the land of the dead that connected to their original world. When some of them saw the new lush greenery, they couldn't help but cry out in shock. Kana watched this scene from the side as she took in everyone's features before waving her hand and creating new bodies for them all.
After a bit of instruction, the souls all entered their new bodies and were all returned to life. That day laughs of joy filled the world of Xeneria. They were all able to return home after suffering so much. Kana hovered in the air above the people of her home world and smiled. "From this day on, I hope you all can live in harmony. Life is precious, and I am sure none of you wish to die once more."
With this, Kana did not stay any longer as she disappeared with her family. She knew she would probably never return to this mortal plane again, but she knew one thing, and that was that this would always be her home. The places she lived were all surrounded by a barrier. Even the mountain she woke up on was now protected so that no one could harm it. These places would soon be known as the zone of the goddess. Kana's image would soon be worshiped upon and prayed to on a daily basis. And in the far future, stories of her heroics from when she was a child to the time she revived an entire planet would be embellished so far beyond belief that Kana wouldn't even know they were talking about her.
A few years passed, and Kana spent them lazily in the gods realm watching over her great great great great grandchildren. She redid the barrier around her family's homes to make sure they would always be protected. But all things must end at some point. Kana and the rest said their goodbyes and took the ship, and headed to the soulist realm.
Kana had originally wanted to stop off in hell, but she decided not to as she had heard from the old man that Camilia was no longer there. While she knew many people there, Camilia was the only one she wished to meet at this time. She was also a little disappointed that Ceilie and Nergal did not wish to be given bodies just yet, as they wanted to finish teaching the two new people who were taking their place how to do their jobs.
Kana could only accept their choice for the time being. She knew it would take a few years before they would be done, as the job of handling the things in the land of the dead was not an easy task, and would take a while to get people up to speed on things.
At this time, in a small courtyard, a young woman looked at the two people playing chess next to a small pawn under a pavilion. "Will junior sister come here soon? These two have been staring at that chessboard for almost six months." The young woman sighed. The air between the two was heavy, and seemed as if they would fight at any time now.
"Look, you old bastard, you can't just move your pieces however you want!" Camlia yelled out.
"Bah! What do you know!? You're just making up rules because you are losing!" Old Dan snorted as he put his piece back.
"What crap is coming out of your mouth!? I am not making up rules. I'm just saying you can not move a pawn seven spots and then hook a right and move another four spots! No piece can do that!" Camlia pointed her finger at Old Dan. She really wanted to punch this old bastard!
"Who said it can't!?" Old Dan needed that pawn to be there, or he would lose!
"Says the rules! You have played this game longer than me, how can you not know the rules of the game!? Now hurry up and move!" Camlia snorted.
"Humph! Want me to move? Then I will move!" Old Dan put his chess piece down. Seeing his move, Camlia couldn't help but frown. They were once again in a stalemate!
"What? Did you think I had no other moves? Humph!" Although he said this, he was secretly glad he saw that spot at the last second!
"Hmmm? Big Sister, if you move there, he won't be able to move at all. Then if you move this piece, it will be checkmate." A voice entered both their ears. One person's face wrinkled while the other's eyes went wide as she yelled out. "You are right! Haha! Suck this old man! Wait…."
Camlia froze as she slowly turned around. When she saw a very familiar face standing there smiling at her, she did not know how to react. It actually took her a few seconds before she suddenly tackled the person! "Kana!"
"Big Sister!" Kana smiled as she braced herself. Camlia hugged Kana with a big smile on her face. She had waited for this day to see Kana! She missed her so much!
