Xiao Xian would never expose her master’s privacy. Not only did she refuse, but she also blocked the conversation between Huang Yuhao and Jiang Siming.

After all, if news spread about Jiang Siming dating the campus belle of the Music Academy, it might negatively affect his reputation, and it would be troublesome if someone used it to stir up trouble. Xiao Xian cut off the audio of Huang Yuhao’s words and switched the camera angle to a distant view. To the audience, it looked like the two were in a heated argument, but they couldn’t hear what they were saying.

"What’s going on? Why did the sound suddenly drop? It was clear just now."

"Maybe they moved too far away."

"Come on, I want to hear! Cameraman, get closer!"

"It looks like the cameraman went to the bathroom; the angle hasn’t changed."

"Are they trying to bully Ming God with numbers? Screw them!"

"Any fans in Shanghai, assemble immediately! Support Ming God—don’t let them gang up on him!"

Even though the audience couldn’t hear the conversation, it was clear from their body language that Huang Yuhao and his group were being hostile toward Jiang Siming. Bully their idol? Not without getting past millions of fans first!

Hearing Huang Yuhao bring up another absurd reason, Jiang Siming chuckled.

"What does me dating a girl from your school have to do with you? Who let loose an idiot like you?"

Jiang Siming’s words were sharp and cutting, as always.

"What the hell did you say!" A lackey from behind immediately stepped up to defend their captain.

Jiang Siming patted his chest mockingly. "Oh no, I’m so scared! Do you guys really want to fight, Music Academy geniuses? I’m afraid you’ll end up crying for your moms."

Peng Tao and his group, watching from the side, secretly gave Jiang Siming a thumbs-up. This guy was fearless, taking on an entire school team on his own. Was he not worried about getting ganged up on?

Huang Yuhao’s expression darkened, but he quickly suppressed his anger and responded politely, "Fighting would make us look like bullies. Since we’re on the basketball court, let’s settle it with basketball. Judging from how you blocked that shot earlier, you must have some skill."

He pointed to one of his teammates and continued, "Here’s the deal. Pick anyone from our team to go one-on-one. Whoever wins gets Jiang Lan."

"Are you an idiot?" Jiang Siming replied flatly.

"What did you just say?"

"I said, are you brain-dead? The kind of idiot with a loose screw, full of crap."

"You really think I won’t hit you? I know you’re rich, but I could have you beaten with just one word!" Huang Yuhao’s facade of politeness was cracking.

At this point, Peng Tao stepped up to speak for Jiang Siming. "Why would someone who’s already dating the campus belle gamble with you? Win or lose, it’s all in your favor. No wonder he’s insulting you."

Jiang Siming shrugged and gave Peng Tao a nod of appreciation. "This school does have some smart people after all. I thought everyone here had the same IQ as this guy."

Huang Yuhao’s face twitched for a second before he changed tactics. "Fine, you name the stakes. Money, perhaps? Each of us puts up 100,000 yuan, winner takes all."

A hundred thousand was a significant amount for students. But gambling against Jiang Siming was like a person with a 20,000-yuan monthly salary heading to Las Vegas for "high-stakes" gambling.

"100,000? That’s my girlfriend’s monthly allowance, excluding bags, jewelry, and cars."

"Then what do you want to bet on?" Huang Yuhao asked helplessly, knowing his opponent was wealthy. Zhang Wei had already told him that Jiang Siming casually gave his girlfriend a BMW X6. Even though their families were well-off, they couldn’t compete.

"Why should I bet with you? Can you explain that to me?" Jiang Siming looked at him like he was a fool.

If it were someone like Chen He, he might have been provoked into accepting. But Jiang Siming, a seasoned player, could easily recognize bait and schemes.

Jiang Siming’s indifference frustrated Huang Yuhao. None of his usual tricks worked on this guy, and it only made him look more foolish.

"Fine, if you want to bet, let’s bet." Jiang Siming suddenly changed his tone.

Huang Yuhao’s eyes lit up. "What’s your wager?"

Little did he know he was stepping right into Jiang Siming’s trap. Jiang Siming glanced around and saw that the basketball court was now surrounded by many female students. With an audience, things could get fun.

"My bet is simple: whoever loses has to strip down and streak around the court ten times."

The moment Jiang Siming announced his wager, the surrounding students burst into laughter. The girls blushed and covered their faces, but none of them moved away. It was just too interesting!

"You’re really betting that big?" Huang Yuhao asked, his excitement growing.

"Too small? Let’s make it twenty laps and allow photos."

"Deal!" Huang Yuhao agreed instantly, afraid Jiang Siming might back out.

Just as Jiang Lan was leaving the library and preparing to return to the dormitory with her roommates, she passed by the basketball court. She noticed a large crowd gathering around one of the courts, and it was growing even larger. Some students even ran from their dormitories after hearing the news, rushing toward the basketball court.

"What’s going on with these people? Is it the start of the school team match?" one of Jiang Lan’s roommates asked curiously.

Jiang Lan, however, wasn’t interested and replied, "It has nothing to do with us. Let’s go back to the dormitory. I have to be back before nine."

Another roommate said helplessly, "You really listen to your boyfriend, don’t you? He’s way too controlling, even here at school."

"Even at school, I don’t want to make him angry," Jiang Lan replied softly. Her voice carried a gentle warmth, and as she thought of Jiang Siming, a sweet smile unknowingly curved her lips.

"You’re hopeless. Fine, we’ll go back with you. You’re such a love-struck fool," her roommate teased.

Jiang Lan and her roommates began walking away from the court. At that moment, a male classmate ran toward the basketball court, prompting one of her roommates to ask curiously what was happening over there.

"You don’t know? The school team’s Huang Yuhao is betting on a one-on-one basketball match with someone. The loser has to run twenty laps around the court naked. Everyone’s talking about it and going to watch. I’ve got to go!" The classmate explained briefly before rushing off.

Hearing this, Jiang Lan’s roommates became intrigued. "Huang Yuhao! He’s the dream guy for so many girls in our school. Lanlan, let’s go check it out!"

"I’m not going. If you want to go, you can. I’ll head back to the dormitory," Jiang Lan replied. She had no interest in school heartthrobs or popular guys. Even if a superstar idol appeared, he wouldn’t mean much to her now.

When you’re in love, your partner is the most beautiful in your eyes. To Jiang Lan, Jiang Siming was the most handsome man. In fact, it wasn’t just her bias; Jiang Siming truly was more attractive than most celebrities. Instead of wasting time watching others, she preferred to return to her dormitory, relax, and read. Perhaps she might even receive a WeChat message from Jiang Siming, asking her to spend time with him.

"Fine, Lanlan, we’ll abandon you then. You’ve got such a handsome boyfriend, but we’re still single. We’re going!"

With that, her roommates decisively "betrayed" her and ran off toward the already crowded basketball court.

Jiang Lan shook her head with a smile and continued walking toward the dormitory alone.

However, it wasn’t long before her roommates came running back out.
