“I am the Witch of the Icy Abyss.” The Ice Queen Elona stated as her very being radiated primordial energy laced with ice elemental energy.

The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra became mad at the declaration of the Ice Queen Elona and immediately attacked her. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra suddenly inhaled a large amount of air and then shot it towards the Ice Queen Elona in full blast. The powerful air cannon was not just made of air but also has ice shards embedded on them.

The Ice Queen Elona did not look afraid as she merely gestured with her hands and tall ice pillars erected in front of her. The tall ice pillars were not like the ones she created earlier. These ice pillars were purer and also tainted with her own mana which turned it into a dark violet color. She only created one to block any projectiles in front of her as she is the only one present in the area.

The ice pillar did not break despite the attack of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra decimating the area beside the Ice Queen Elona. Pure devastation could be seen as one air cannon shot from the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra managed to destroy a vast frozen land into dust. Even the snow itself was cleared up because of her attack.

The Ice Queen Elona did not stay passively defending herself as she created large ice lances that is filled with her own mana. It radiated such cold energy that even the air itself froze when it exposed to such a thing. She launched the ice lances towards the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra and also created smaller lances that followed up the initial large ones.

The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra roared and the slammed the ground beneath it as it literally picked up the ice floor below. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra managed to create as shield out of the frozen ground it threads upon. The frozen ground became a powerful shield that blocked the ice lances that contained the power of the Icy Abyss.

The ice that was hit by the ice lances are exploded to deal powerful damage that literally cracked it entirely. The ice is also transformed to have the characteristic of the Icy Abyss which made the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra drop the shield it used. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra knows that the Icy Abyss could erode its body if it was not careful. It has yet to fully recover from its power as the world itself is still restricted.

“You are lucky, wench! If I was at my full power, then you would have never stood a chance!” The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra shouted as it released a powerful blizzard to cover the entire area once again.

“Pathetic talks are only reserved for the weak! Glacio!” The Ice Queen Elona shouted as she created a blizzard to match the one that the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra called upon. The clash between the two powerhouses continued on as forces observed their battles as they waited for the chance to come for them to make their move.

Frey headed towards what the northern people call the Holy Frost Mountain. The northern people always told of stories that this mountain is home to a goddess. People that would sometimes scavenge the mountain will talk tales about a beautiful woman aiding them when they are hurt. Some were even said to be nursed to health and that the cold itself was nullified while they descended it.

Frey understood that this was the mountain that she is supposed to climb. She needed to challenge the goddess that took this mountain as her home. She needed to overcome the power of a goddess alone wit her own mettle. She cannot ask for help, and she must also climb the mountain without relying on her mount.

She has heard stories of his mountain and is often told by the people living below it to be careful and humble. The mountain may become your doom if you disrespect it as the mountain is mystical as they say. She actually felt it the moment she stepped foot inside the mountain as she already felt being observed. She did not know where the gaze was coming from as she felt it came from all directions.

Frey did not demand nor shout but continued on her journey as she did not need to grumble. She knows that the goddess that lives on this mountain already knows of her arrival. She is here for a challenge and the first step to earn that challenge is to climb the mountain and reach the summit. The fact that she is being observed is tantamount to the goddess checking her resolve.

“I must hurry. I need to reach the summit within a day.” Frey stated as she used her mana to cover more snowy ground.

Frey needed to reach the summit but that does not mean she needs to do it without relying on her own mana. Mana is a part of a person’s strength after all and using it effectively is also a challenge in of itself. She managed to reach the middle of the mountain in record time and proceeded to rest a little as she might have become too excited in using her mana.

When Frey resumed her climb, a powerful snowstorm suddenly happened. She would have stopped and take shelter, but she is shocked when she saw the area fifty meters away from her. The area far away from her did not experience any snowstorm. She tried to walk towards a safer area, but she noticed that the snowstorm itself was following her.

The snowstorm did not occur naturally, but it was artificially made. Frey already knows that it was the goddess of this mountain that created the snowstorm. It was an additional test as climbing the mountain itself was not enough of a challenge for the current Frey.
