She can basically teleport to any part of the northern continent that has ice or snow as long as she has the mana for it. She has lived for so long and stayed too long in just her kingdom that she forgot to use it over long distances.

The scouts under her have already given her the information about the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra. In just a few minutes, the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra will be before her, and she is now ready. She might not be able to handle a primordial beast on her own, but she is enough to delay it. She was not as weak as she was before when the first attack happened.

“I shall show you the fruit of what training for thousands of years could do!” The Ice Queen Elona stated as the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra can finally be seen from her view.

The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra was a large beast that looked like a mixture of an elk and a bear. It does not have fur, but its body is made of ice and snow that hardened to the point that it glosses like steel. It is also as large as a mountain that is about two hundred meters tall. It is not something that an elegant queen of the north could handle alone but she will try.

The Ice Queen Elona that usually is stoic and does not show any emotion could be seen burning with ambition. She was there as a queen and as a promise to the being that helped them. The promise to not disturb its rest as it grew tired of the life of a primordial beast.

The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra charged through the snowy fields in a rage, but it did detect a presence that has the same energy as that of the Primordial Beast of Icy Abyss. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra knows that this is not the enemy it has fought since birth but a being that claimed the power of its rival. It also distinctly remembers this being as she was there when it was sealed.

“Ice Witch!” The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra shouted as it released a powerful blizzard that swept across the area and covered everything in ice and snow.

The Ice Queen Elona was not fazed as this was what people called her back then when she was chosen as the power holder for the Primordial Beast of Icy Abyss. She was also not affected by the mere taunt and cold gust of wind that the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra released. The Ice Queen Elona raised her ice scepter and slammed it towards the ground.

“Icy Precipice!” The Ice Queen Elona shouted.

As soon as the Ice Queen Elona slammed her scepter, the ground suddenly got infused by her mana and large ice crystals suddenly sprang out from the ground. These ice crystals grew in such large sizes that some even reached a hundred meters. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra crashed against these ice crystals which derailed its speed and made it stop its charge.

The damage to the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra might not be big but that is not the thing that the Ice Queen Elona wants. She was there to only prevent the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra from reaching the kingdom in two days. She was there to stop the enemy from moving as they will definitely lose if she does not do so. She was there ready to sacrifice herself even when nobody told her to.

“This Ice Witch will kill you herself, beast. You have been asleep for far too long that you have weakened enough for me to kill you.” The Ice Queen Elona announced which angered the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra.

“Such baseless confidence! A human like you will never be able to match the power of a primordial beast like me! I am the cold winds of the northern continent personified! I am Kallvind!” The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra proudly proclaimed as it conjured numerous ice tornadoes to destroy the ice crystals that the Ice Queen Elona created.

“Did you think that I did not prepare a way to kill you when you are released? Humans always prepare for the inevitable! Let me show you the power of the Icy Abyss!” The Ice Queen Elona stated as her scepter suddenly exploded into ice that covered her entire body. The dress made of ice that she wore suddenly became sharper and the ice became coated in pure mana.

The dress that the Ice Queen Elona wore is usually adorned with crystals and snowflakes while having an elegant and gentle appearance. She looked like a beautiful ice fairy or goddess that graces you with her presence when the first snow hits. The dress that was regal and elegant suddenly turned sharp and overbearing as pure mana turned the white into a deep violet color.

The Ice Queen Elona suddenly changed her aura into a bitter cold that creeps into your body. A cold so powerful that it felt like you are trapped in an icy abyss with no chance of ever escaping. She was able to conjure up the power of the Primordial Beast of Icy Abyss into her body. Her hair became pure silver in color while her eyes became a deep black color.

“You managed to tap into the power of the Icy Abyss! A human like you actually dares covet the power of a primordial!” The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra shouted but it is only angry at the fact that it could not have that power.

The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra knew that it must defeat the Ice Queen Elona in order to fully devour the power of the Primordial Beast of Icy Abyss. She was already an extension of the primordial beast and the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra knows it.
