Su Meiling sat on the highest seat inside the clan leader's room. It used to be her husband's, but she accepted this position to avenge his unjustified death. 

She stared at the elders, who followed her husband to his last breath and calmly observed their expression. 

Elder Hengjun is an elderly who possessed the early stage of Sky Profound Realm, but due to his old age, his fighting prowess isn't the best. Still, his wise mind proved effective for the Grandwake Clan's development.

Elder Hengmei is a middle-aged woman and half-step Sky Profound Realm. She used to be an independent profound practitioner and married into the Grandwake Clan, but like Su Meiling, her husband died in a battle. 

And finally, Elder Hengkui. He belonged to the neutral party and later joined Su Meiling because her policy and work ethic for the Grandwake Clan won him over.

Like Elder Hengmei, Elder Hengkui is also a half-step Sky Profound Realm.

"Clan Leader, is it true that Heimu Qingya has died?" Elder Hengkui asked with a troubled expression.

Su Meiling supported her chin with one hand and returned, "Are you questioning my words, Elder Hengkui?"

"W-What?" The three elders were shocked.

Su Meiling inwardly relaxed when seeing their reaction. Although she felt a bit dirty to use Yu Long for her agenda, she couldn't let Su Wangji's faction gain more advantage. 

After telling about Heimu Qingya's death earlier, Su Meiling felt the elders' reactions were inappropriate. She was sure Su Wangji and those cowardly bastards would stage a coup. It's just a matter of time. 

As the three elders thought this was too good to be true, they gazed at Su Meiling deeply. 

"There must be a catch in this cooperation, right?" Elder Hengmei pointed out.

Su Meiling naturally nodded as she didn't bother to lie, "Indeed." 

"He wanted us to agree on his terms."

"As for what kind of terms he laid on the table, we must visit him for further discussions first." 

"This is good... Grand Elder wouldn't see this coming." Elder Hengkui rubbed his chin. "Clan Leader, the young man should have told you where to find him, right?"

Su Meiling rubbed the unique-looking key attached to the silver chain on her fair neck, "Husband, the Grandwake Clan's crisis will be over soon."

"Your sacrifice for me and Ling'er won't be in vain..." 

"Don't worry, I will also avenge you." She added with rich killing intent.

At night, five individuals left the Grandwake Clan. 

"Mom, are we going to visit Big Brother Yu Long?" Su Ling'er asked while rubbing her eyes. She was sleepy but also excited to meet her handsome prince again.

The three elders looked at Su Meiling weirdly. 

Su Meiling smiled helplessly and answered, "Yes, we will visit him tonight." 

"Be a good girl, and stay quiet, okay? We can't let those bad guys know we are going out."

"Okay..." Su Ling'er nodded and whispered while making a playful shoo gesture. 

Su Meiling sighed and glanced at the Grandwake Clan. Hopefully, Yu Long won't ask for too much. 

Although Su Meiling wished her hellish torture to end, she couldn't watch the Grandwake Clan that her late husband painstakingly protected with his life fall. 

They moved in the darkness of night, reaching the west of Grandwake Mountain quickly. 

"Where is it?" Elder Hengkui frowned a little as he gazed at an empty mountainside. Yes, he couldn't find any castle that Elder Hengjun mentioned in the evening.

"Your view is quite shallow for a man who lived near my age." Elder Hengjun chuckled in amusement. 

"Hehe, Grandpa Hengkui is old~!" Su Ling'er giggled, joining Elder Hengjun.

Elder Hengkui's mouth twitched, but he couldn't do anything about this situation. 

Elder Hengmei shook her head. It was always like this when they brought the little princess of Grandwake Clan out. 

Thankfully, Su Ling'er is safer with them than the Grandwake Clan. 

Elder Hengjun coughed and explained briefly, "The Thousand Weapons Association is a mysterious organization. If their headquarters could be 'easily' found, it is no different than inviting demise to their front door." 

"Illusion..." Su Meiling has superb mental power. So, she could sense something was off. 

Then, a white-clothed woman with an ice-like presence unexpectedly appeared before them. "Five of you have been invited into the castle." She said with a poker face. 

And the reality was 'seemingly' torn apart.

The night sky and surrounding mountainside crumbled, revealing a grandiose-looking castle.

"Wow~!" Su Ling'er stared at the massive castle with glimmering eyes.

Meanwhile, Su Meiling and the three elders were stunned beyond belief. 

It was in front of them the whole freaking time!

'At least one of them can sense the array.' Chu Yueli stared at Su Meiling silently. She was confused when Yu Long told her there would be visitors later.

But isn't this just a new addition to Young Master's Harem?

'A mother at that.' Chu Yueli noticed the similarity between Su Meiling and Su Ling'er. 'Young Master's taste is quite suspicious.'

Su Meiling and the elders glanced at each other before nodding in agreement. They followed Chu Yueli but soon discovered Su Ling'er already run toward the castle first.
