Chapter 6387: Two Fools

“I see, so it’s our dream.” Alch-deer became startled and said.

“If you don’t tell others, no one will know since they are hidden wishes. Of course, you can still join someone else’s dream, albeit the chance is lower.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Hmm…” Alch-deer thought about his dreams: “Seems ridiculous, it’s invading the mind of everyone who sets foot here.”

“You tell me.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Dream, however, nice, won’t turn into reality.” Alch-deer shook his head.

“Which is why they will wake up eventually, it’s only a matter of time. This dream won’t last too long either.” Li Qiye said.

“Ancestor, are you looking for the dream source?” Alch-deer asked.

“No rush, there is more than the source here too. There are karmic ties.” Li Qiye patted the deer, ordering him to move forward.

The Sea of Heavenly Sin was enormous and diverse. Some areas possessed special powers preventing the fog from getting close.

The duo reached such a place - a coral island untouched by the fog. Alch-deer was surprised to see two people there.

“What are they doing?” The demon still enjoyed having fun after becoming an emperor and approached.

The two men were middle-aged and twins. They were dressed in linen clothes, but the buttons on their clothes were misaligned and not properly fastened. With the buttons mismatched, their clothes looked crooked and disheveled. As a result, the two of them appeared foolish and abnormal, especially with the silly expression on their round face.

They looked like village idiots with stunted intelligence. However, they were cleaner with spotless, expensive clothes. From a quick glance, they most likely didn’t experience any hardship growing up.

“It’s in there.” One of them spoke.

“It’s not.” The other insisted.

“I know it’s there.” The first said.

“I know it’s not.” The second said with confidence.

Alch-deer came close enough to see an ancient well with polished bricks. It looked as if many visitors were coming to get water and rubbing on them.

Why was there a well on this coral island? Furthermore, given its old architecture, it should be inside a prestigious clan or dao system.

“Listen to me.” One fool said.

“No, listen to me.” The second argued.

This only piqued Alch-deer’s curiosity. He came closer and asked: “What’s in there?”

“A treasure.” The first said.

“There is none.” The second said.

“What treasure?” Alch-deer leaned over to look down the well. However, it was pitch black.

The two pushed him down the well as he was defenseless, but he reacted quickly.

“Boom!” He activated his aura and supreme grand dao. 

However, it was useless and he still disappeared into the well.

“It’s in there.” The first spoke as if nothing had happened.

“It’s not.” The second retorted.

“I say it is.” The first said.

“I say it is not.” The second didn’t relent.

They seemed to have forgotten what had just happened. No one would believe an emperor had just been pushed into this well without seeing it in person.

Li Qiye watched the whole thing with a smile, not bothering to save Alch-deer.

“What are you two arguing about?” He approached the duo.

“There’s a treasure down there.” The first said.

“There isn’t.” The second said.

“What kind of treasure?” Li Qiye looked down at the well.

Sure enough, the duo tried to push him down.

“Bam!” Unfortunately, they couldn’t move him an inch.

“There’s no treasure.” He turned his head and told them.

“Look, it’s down there, right there.” The first leaned over and pointed.

“Oh, I see it now, look, right there.” The second pointed as well.

“Bam!” This time, Li Qiye pushed both of them down.

“Ahhh!” They fell and disappeared into the darkness.

“Go down there and find the treasure for me.” Li Qiye laughed and sat down, waiting.

After a long while, light came from the well. The two leaped and flew, attempting to leave.

“Bam!” Li Qiye easily waved his hand, pushing them down again.
