It was too late for Fixteen to do anything, for Forma had already shot a mass amount of power in the air.
A giant red circle ball filled the sky but due to the fighting not everyone had noticed it. Already before things had even started Forma’s body was shaking.
Just the thought of what was about to come frightened her greatly.
“This is all for the legacy of the Crimson Crane.” She said.
Arrows started to fall from the large ball aimed at the victims it wished to take out. The arrows were linked to Forma’s will.
She had seen from before the type of clothing that was being worn by those in the Light Faction and the soldiers from the Empire and now all of the attacks were directed toward them.
As arrows started to fall it pierced through many soldiers’ defenses. A lot of them were too preoccupied with the fight that was in front of them to see the arrows.
It had pierced right through their backs, their arms and the back of their heads.
Some had caught on to what was happening. It was hard not to when there were hundred thousand arrows falling from the sky.
They used their defensive artifacts, some got into defensive formations and used their Qi to fight back against the arrows.
They were doing well to protect what was coming at them and a large fraction of the arrows never managed to hit anyone.
But out of the hundred thousand arrows that had fallen, around fifteen thousand warriors and soldiers still ended up losing their lives and many were injured.
It was part of the big advantage that was needed for them to start turning back the tables in their favor.
“They are not the only ones with fancy weapons and armor!” A Demonic faction member shouted out. “The Crimson Crane are with us!”
The will and actions that Forma had performed had put the fight back into action in the warriors despite everything that happened.
However those on the battlefield were unaware just how much of a tough decision that was for Forma.
All of the arrows that were fired started to form up, crawl out from the bodies that they had pierced and it began to gather.
It gathered into a red mass ball the same as before it was shot. The ball started to shrink down in size, condensing into a dark red colour and then moved right to where Forma was.
She stayed still as she watched the ball reach her and turned to look at Fixteen.
“Remember what I said.” Her eyes filled with tears as the ball entered through her head.
“ARGHHH!” A loud scream escaped her mouth but only for a second as she had fainted, falling to the floor being caught by Fixteen before she had hit the ground.
Forma had no idea what type of chain reaction she had set within the war but it was a bigger one than she expected that was for sure.
Seeing this opportunity, with a large amount of injured, the Bonum Society decided to act. They started to transform into their Hybrid forms in the middle of it all.
What appeared to be beasts and monsters were now attacking left and right, and the hybrid creatures had an array of different powers at their disposal.
Some were able to spit acid from their mouths, others were able to heal. Some could produce thorns from their bodies and fire them out at the enemy.
It was one of the hidden cards that the group had.
“They have Hybrids amongst their group? How is that even possible?” A Light Faction warrior shouted. “I thought Hybrids were insane, and couldn’t distinguish between friend and foe.”
Some of the Demonic and Dark warriors were worried at first, but after seeing clearly they were attacking their enemy and protecting them, they knew they were on their side.
“This is a good turn of events and good timing on their part.” Reno said as he observed a particular area.
It was covered in mist and the warriors were struggling to hurt the general. Even Qi-filled attacks seemingly went through the general’s body.
“I need to play my part in this fight as well. Forma has done a lot for us.”
Rushing over, Reno had dived straight first into the mist. As soon as he arrived he had grabbed some of the other warriors and flung them out of the area close to them.
“Stay out of the area for a while.” Reno said as he stretched out both of his hands and Qi started to emit out from his body.
The entire area was starting to turn green and began to mix in with the mist. It covered the entire area and the mist started to get smaller until a human figure had appeared out of it, collapsing onto the ground.
His face was red and out from his mouth blood had started to spew out.
“What is this? Have I been poisoned?” The general assumed.
“It appears that you do not have a warrior’s body. The smallest amount of poison inhaled has affected you despite your body being made of mist. Perhaps I was the only one that could have gone against you here. You are quite unfortunate.”
One of the generals that was giving them a large amount of trouble was taken out just like that.
Elsewhere on the battlefield, a large group of soldiers were making a great push back against warriors.
This was all due to the general who held onto a powerful artifact in the shape of a flag. They were pushing back against the warriors and after a short while would move to another area with the flag in hand and no one could get close.
Or at least they thought. Appearing from behind as if invisible, Crocker had used his special cursed item, but rather than attack, he had something else in mind as he had placed a special headband right on top of the man’s head.
“That was a gift from Anna, and with it you will now do our bidding. We will clear the files so the rest can take you all down. That is the job of the Dark Hand!”
