Chapter 1599: The Realm Of Fairies And Spirits

I felt kind of bad I had forced everyone to wake up out of the sudden, but it was necessary! It was now or never, and this strange pseudo portal that I opened into a complete portal could only last for a few more minutes before the “day” came back to this forest.

And then we would have to wait a whole other day for the night to arrive, and we couldn’t have that! So we hurried up, running into the lush forest past the spiritual portal. This new Divine Ability I obtained from turning my own clone into a Divine Spirit Beast was amazing, and it felt almost like destiny I obtained that one in specific.

Perhaps it wasn’t completely random, and the ability I obtained depends on what I need the most? If that was the case… No, well, it doesn’t matter actually!

“S-So this is Avalon…?!”

As I heard Mark’s words of surprise, I stepped into the forest myself, nodding after everyone managed to get through the gate without exception, and then saw the gate quickly close.

And indeed, this was Avalon! It was enormous! We landed right above some sort of cliff, near a small hill, and there, the beautiful blue sky, the morning sun slowly rising from the horizon, the forest-covered mountains with snowy caps, surrounding us was an endless forest of enormous trees, colorful giant flowers, and all sorts of magical places.

There was a forest of purple trees, then to the distance a lake surrounded by rainbow-colored crystals, then to the other side we saw a giant garden of titanic flowers as big as fifty meters each, rivers of colorful, magical water that seemed like they were juice or wine, and more.

This place… it was even more shocking than the Dream Forest.

“This is… This is Avalon…” I muttered.

After having heard so much about this place all this time, I was finally here! I could hardly believe it now, and I did it all for Katherine… or did I?

Although that’s the case, a part of me really just wanted to do a trip like this, to journey into another place I’ve never been, one as wonderful as this one.

Avalon, the Land of Fairy Tales.

I only ever fantasized to see such a place one day, a world full of magical creatures even more than even Arcadia, full of life, magic, and spiritual energies.

Where the King of all Fairies reigns as their benevolent King, and the father of all Fairies, Fae, and Spirits…

“Welcome to my home, everyone. This is Avalon, the Land of Fairies.”

Katherine smiled, feeling relieved, as if she was right back at home, and well, she was. The surrounding landscape was already a thing of beauty, but as she saw everything, the entire world around us illuminated even more, her own aura resonated with the land. This world, this realm, it was alive, and it was welcoming her, one of her children.

“T-This is like, straight out of a Disney Movie or something for real!” Jenny said, looking around. “No wait the recent ones have been pretty boring and lame, but like, the old ones!”

“Yeah, the place is beautiful…” Lily said. “I am in awe! I want to go see those crystal forests and mine some of those and maybe go drink that river with wine! Is it wine right?”

“I don’t know if its wine, and it might be better if we don’t drink it…” I said. “But yes, it’s really beautiful… Rita, what do you think?”

“Eh, it’s… it’s beautiful yeah who am I kidding?” Rita tried to act like it wasn’t that special for her. “I tried to think that after what we’ve seen in Arcadia that this wasn’t that impressive, but isn’t this pale even more fantasy-like than even another world? This shit’s crazy! The only place that would slightly compare is the new Forest of Beginnings that you created by fusing that domain into it.”

“Oh that! By now it should’ve permanently merged with it too,” I nodded. “I never imagined that I could create a whole new forest and evolve the previous one that had taken so much damage into something entirely new… It even became so enormous, and even now, the space and time essence that the domain had is now merged into the real land… the Forest of Beginnings it is turning into a mystical space or dimension of its own, in a way. Huh, I never considered that until now.”

“Eh?! Really?” Elisa asked. “Wow, that’s amazing, Lady Elayne! I wish I could go visit that forest and then compare it with this beauty! But oh well, we might as well enjoy our stay here, right? I assume we won’t stay here for too long though.”

“Yeah, a day or two at most,” I nodded. “But I know everyone is still sleepy, so shall we sleep for a few more hours?”

I asked this question because I knew they were still sleeping and everything… I don’t really need to sleep that much right now either way, so I think I can push through until we get to the King.

But maybe that’s not the case for everyone else.

“Honestly I’m good to go,” Mark nodded. “Don’t worry too much about that.”

“Yeah, if anything I’m hungry, we could have something to eat on the go at the very least,” Rita said. “But that’s about it, don’t worry.”

“Yep, I agree!” Nodded Gabriel said. “I don’t need to sleep too much anyway! I can spend weeks without sleeping! And Avalon is so pretty! I want to explore it!”

“I-I think I can go,” Monica nodded. “Please don’t worry.”

“Yeah! After seeing this view, we’re all pretty awake,” Elisa said with a nod.

“I’m ready mom, I want to explore too,” Elisa said. “I agree with little Gabriel.”

“Yawn… Wait, what? So I’m the only one that would rather go to sleep? Yeah the place’s beautiful but… I can’t appreciate it with this exhaustion,” Anna yawned again. “Sorry…”

“It’s fine,” I said. “If you’re feeling too sleepy, you can always enter this place.”

I quickly summoned a floating Dream Realm.
