Young Master Lu’s Lovely New Bride
Chapter 451 - I Prefer the Way My Wife ActedChapter 451 I Prefer the Way My Wife Acted
Mu Sijue could tell that Xu Youning wasn’t afraid of him as she used to be.
Maybe it was because she knew that it wouldn’t be long for her, the undercover person, to leave his side.
He snorted and thought, “Is she thinking that she’ll get rid of me soon?”
Mu Sijue didn’t lose his temper. Instead, he encircled Xu Youning’s waist with his arms to hold her, then he lowered his head, gazing at her and said, “All right.”
He would like to see what her guidance would be.
Xu Youning had thought that Mu Sijue would be angry and furious, so she had even thought of her escape route, without expecting Mu Sijue to agree with her.
She thought, “D*mn. I was just bragging! You got it wrong!”
Mu Sijue saw the mixture of emotions spreading over Xu Youning’s face. He was satisfied with the look she had, as if wanting to weep but having no tears. Then he checked the time and intentionally said to Xu Youning, “You’ve got 10 hours to recall how fish swim.”
With that, he released Xu Youning and walked straight toward the shore.
“…” Xu Youning felt collapsed but failed to shed a tear.
She then realized that she had to pay the price once she bragged, even though she couldn’t stop weeping.
Half an hour later, Xiao Yunyun and Shen Yuechuan, who were chasing each other, reached the shore. Not long after the two boarded the yacht, Xu Youning and Mu Sijue arrived as well.
The yacht, which had been docked by the shore for a long time, slowly departed like a giant white seagull breaking the calm sea, and sailed toward the distance.
Xiao Yunyun followed Shen Yuechuan on the deck. With the two jesting and joking, it soon became much more lively there.
Hearing their laughter, Su Jianan turned her head to Lu Boyan and gave him a proud look. She said, “Just leaving them alone turned out to be a wise decision!”
If they had rashly laid out the hazy feelings that Shen Yuechuan and Xiao Yunyun had for each other, at that moment, they would probably have started avoiding each other, let alone joke and play together any longer.
Lu Boyan didn’t care whether it was a wise decision, for he simply thought that his wife was always right. He nodded in agreement and asked, “Are you tired? How about going downstairs to have a rest?”
As the twins Su Jianan was carrying grew older, she became tired easily. By then, after standing for a while, she usually had to sit down for a rest. Sometimes when she focused herself on other things and forgot to rest, Lu Boyan often reminded her.
Because of that, she immediately felt sore on her back while getting cold feet. She nodded and obediently followed Lu Boyan downstairs.
The yacht was very spacious, including the reception area that covered the largest space, a bar counter and a tiny kitchen. There was no barrier between the three areas, which had been decorated in a cozy and exquisite style, like a small mobile home.
The afternoon sun streamed in through the glass window, lighting up the cabin, in which no matter where they stood, they could see the boundless blue sea as long as they looked outside.
Su Jianan felt indescribably relaxed, and as she looked around, she noticed the tiny kitchen next to the bar counter.
Since she became pregnant, Lu Boyan had asked her not to set foot in a kitchen, because he thought it was too dangerous and she might slip by accident.
When she was at home, she thought it was fine. Because the kitchen was a little far away from the living room, which made it hard for her to think of cooking, because the kitchen was out of her sight.
However, at that moment, the familiar kitchen utensils were just in front of her, which was a great temptation to a person who loved cooking.
Su Jianan couldn’t suppress her itch, so she eagerly drew Lu Boyan’s sleeves and said, “I want to make some drinks.”
“What do you want to drink?” Lu Boyan said as if unaware of the yearning look in Su Jianan’s eyes. “There are bartenders on the yacht. Just tell them to make one for you.”
“I’d like to do it myself,” Su Jianan begged, “I’ll make some lemon tea. It’s easy. Just give me 15 minutes and a fruit knife. No other dangerous tools are needed! Let me do it myself, please?”
Lu Boyan looked over to the kitchen, which was plainly equipped for making drinks as well as baking, not enough for Su Jianan to cook big meals.
He murmured for a while and said, “Alright, but just this once.”
Su Jianan’s eyes lit up. With a smile on her face, she stood on her tiptoes to kiss Lu Boyan, then she turned and trotted into the tiny kitchen to work on her lemon tea.
Luo Xiaoxi knew that Lu Boyan was keeping a firm grip on Su Jianan and asked her whether she would feel annoyed.
When asked about it, Su Jianan just said, “It’s so annoying.”
However, she didn’t feel annoyed at all; instead, she enjoyed it.
Because she knew best that Lu Boyan would give her whatever she wanted. Even when she suddenly complained about the decoration style of their house, he had immediately promised her, without even frowning, and had it refurbished inside out.
However, Lu Boyan had his own principles. For example, he would never allow her, as well as their babies, to get injured.
It was known to all that Lu Boyan’s principles brooked no violation, even when it came to her.
Aside from that, Lu Boyan couldn’t be better to her.
Who could say that it wasn’t romantic when he took the best care of her?
Within 15 minutes, Su Jianan made everyone a glass of lemon tea. In the transparent tumblers, the lemon slices floated with ice cubes. Along with chic disposable straws, the lemon tea was a feast for both their eyes and the tongues.
Su Jianan had the other drinks sent to those on the deck and kept two, one of which was for Lu Boyan.
Lu Boyan had always disliked sweet and sour food; watching the lemon slice floating in the glass, he subconsciously frowned.
Su Jianan immediately withdrew her hand and said, “I’ll drink it if you dislike it.”
Lu Boyan furrowed his brow and took the glass from Su Jianan’s hand. He said, “No, you can only have one.” During pregnancy, Su Jianan had been fond of sour food, but the doctor especially told her to have it in moderation; she shouldn’t go too far.
He tried to take a sip, still unable to accept the sour taste. However, he couldn’t deny it, the tea had a good flavor. One sip after another, he finished it unconsciously.
In the end, Lu Boyan handed Su Jianan a glass of water for her to gargle and told her that lemon was not good for her teeth.
“Oh.” Su Jianan took it and gargled as he asked. As soon as she laid down the glass, she received a call from Luo Xiaoxi.
“I heard that you’re all on the island, right?!” Luo Xiaoxi said in an angry voice, “D*mn. Why didn’t you tell me? That’s too mean!”
“Aren’t you busy preparing for your wedding with my brother?” Su Jianan said, “There are 20 days left before your wedding. If I ask you to come here, my brother will blame me.”
“Just leave him alone. I’ll take the earliest flight tomorrow to meet you.” After a pause, Luo Xiaoxi said in a subtle voice, “Our wedding is approaching, but I feel weird somehow. I’d like to stay for a couple of days without your brother to calm myself down.”
“… Is it premarital anxiety?” Su Jianan thought for a while and said, “Then, come meet me. Before that, you have to tell my brother about it, or he will be angry with me later.”
Luo Xiaoxi replied with a smile and said, “That’s it. See you tomorrow.”
After the call, Su Jianan felt anxious about Luo Xiaoxi. With her chin on her hand, she looked at Lu Boyan and said, “Call my brother tonight and tell him that Xiaoxi will come here tomorrow. Because of her premarital anxiety, she may keep it from him.”
“Premarital anxiety?” Lu Boyan murmured for a while and suddenly asked, “Did you feel the same way as her when you were going to marry me?”
“Not at all. I’m not Xiaoxi,” Su Jianan snorted and said, “I was almost too excited to stay sober.”
Lu Boyan felt surprised and couldn’t help smiling. He cupped Su Jianan’s head and kissed her lips. “I prefer the way you acted.”
Su Jianan pursed her lips and said, “That was even more embarrassing than Xiaoxi’s case…” What embarrassed her the most was that she finally told Lu Boyan about it…
Lu Boyan raised his eyebrow and said, “I don’t care. The point is—I like it.”
Su Jianan smiled as Lu Boyan’s lips approached hers. Just then, Xiao Yunyun clattered down the stairs from the deck, so the two had to release each other.
As she walked downstairs, Xiao Yunyun saw Lu Boyan release Su Jianan. She subconsciously covered her eyes with one hand and waved. “I didn’t see it. I didn’t see it…”
If it were in the past, Su Jianan would blush. After being with Lu Boyan for a long time, she didn’t become better at kissing, but she had thicker skin. She looked at Xiao Yunyun calmly and asked, “Why are you here?”
Xiao Yunyun murmured and said with sincerity, “Cousin, I know I shouldn’t be here. I can leave right now!”
Su Jianan burst into laughter and said, “Where is Yuechuan? Didn’t you two stay together?”
Xiao Yunyun didn’t know why she was so sensitive to the word “together.” She almost stamped with rage and shouted, “How come we are together? I can’t be with Shen Yuechuan!”
Although Su Jianan guessed what happened, she was surprised by Xiao Yunyun’s reaction. She hesitated and said, “I didn’t mean that you’re in love with him. I thought you came here together.”
Only then did Xiao Yunyun realize what was going on. As she calmed down, she felt so embarrassed that she wished she could jump into the sea.
She turned around and walked toward the kitchen, trying to hide her look at that moment from Su Jianan. She began to explain, “We happened to take the same flight here. And on the way we chatted. It’s just like… a nodding acquaintance, not the way you’ve thought!”
“You’ve been joking around all the time. It didn’t cross my mind that you were in a good relationship, were you?” Su Jianan said, “I once wondered if one day you two would fight against each other.”
Xiao Yunyun forgot to drink; she turned around, looking at Su Jianan with confusion and asked, “Cousin, I’m on bad terms with Shen Yuechuan, all right?”
Su Jianan was just feeling out Xiao Yunyun, without expecting to interfere with her disguise.
She nodded to show that she agreed with Xiao Yunyun’s words, then she said, “However, the relationship between people changes. You may try to live with Yuechuan in peace. Maybe you’ll find he’s a nice person.”
Xiao Yunyun turned around to drink some water—
She thought, “Well, that doesn’t sound bad!”
