Chapter 1159: Surprise guests

He didn’t need to guess to know who was staring at them since there were only a few people that would do such a thing.

However, there was a part of him that was hesitating on whether he should report this matter to Mu Bao Bao or not.

After all, it would mean much more to her than it did to him.

All that this meant for him was that his plan was working as he was drawing in the people that he wanted to draw in.

But it was different for Mu Bao Bao since these were the ones that she had been wanting to meet for a long time. It had even been so long since she met one of them that she had forgotten what they looked like.

However, that didn’t stop her from wanting to meet them.

After all, they were her parents.

In the end, Lin Fan chose to keep silent about this.

He knew that Mu Bao Bao would be angry with him for this, but this was the best thing to do right now. After all, if he were to actually tell her about them, there was no telling what she would do.

She was already in a sensitive state since they were in the Deng Family, so there was no telling what would happen once she figured out that her parents were near.

“Keep an eye on them for now. Tell me if they ever try to approach.”

It didn’t take long for the Deng Family to do something.

The other guests were surprised to hear that the wedding ceremony was starting early, but it seemed like they could understand why the Deng Family was doing this.

They all thought that it was because of Lin Fan that the Deng Family was pushing up their own ceremony. And it made sense since only someone of Lin Fan’s status would be able to make the Deng Family push up their own schedule.

He had expected them to at least try something that would take care of Mu Bao Bao, Mu Huang, and Deng Mei’er.

After all, Mu Huang and Deng Mei’er had moved out of hiding and were currently watching them. This created a perfect opportunity for them to try and do something to the two of them.

But it seemed that Deng Tong and Deng You were afraid of his status.

“This is bad. If they don’t do anything, how can I make my next move?” Lin Fan thought to himself as he watched the wedding happen.

With the way that everything progressed, it really seemed like he wouldn’t have a chance to do anything.

But in the end, he wasn’t disappointed as it seemed that Deng Tong and Deng You couldn’t hold it in anymore. Or at the very least, it seemed that Deng You couldn’t hold it back anymore.

It was her wedding, so it was only appropriate that she would make a move.

The move that she chose to make was to target Mu Bao Bao in the end, but doing that would also indirectly target Deng Mei’er and Mu Huang.

Lin Fan knew that she was targeting Mu Bao Bao since she had been staring at her during the wedding. She thought that she had been hiding herself well, but she really couldn’t hide the hatred that she directed in Mu Bao Bao’s direction.

It was clear that there was a deep hatred between Deng You and Deng Mei’er that it was even passed down to her daughter Mu Bao Bao.

There had to be some story behind all of this, but that didn’t matter right now since all that mattered was how to take care of these two for her.

After the wedding came the banquet for all the guests that came.

It was at this banquet that Deng You suddenly made a move.

One interesting thing to note was that Lin Fan could see that there was dissonance between Deng You and Deng Tong. After all, it was pointed out to him that Deng Tong had tried to stop Deng You from doing what she was going to do.

“Everyone, there’s something that I must say.”

When Deng You said this, everyone turned to look at her with a confused look.

No one had expected her to say something like this since the wedding had progressed very smoothly and it didn’t seem like there was a problem that had to be addressed.

But then as they thought about it, they couldn’t help looking at Lin Fan with understanding looks.

It wasn’t everyday that the disciple of two of the Eight Kings would come to a wedding like this. As such, it would make sense that Deng You would want to do something to make this special for him.

As everyone expected, Deng You turned to look at Lin Fan after saying this.

Only no one really expected what she said after this.

“Junior Sovereign, this might offend you but I have to say it. This person who is with you is not who she says she is. I know this because she’s someone who was kicked out of our Deng Family in disgrace. I have to tell you this so you aren’t fooled by her.”

Lin Fan couldn’t help slightly knitting his brows when he heard this.

Or at least this was what it seemed like on the surface.

Deep down, he couldn’t help giving an amused chuckle before whispering something to Yan Tian Ta and Hong Xi. Once they received this signal, they didn’t waste any time in sending the message that they had been waiting to send.

As for the one that this message was for…

They couldn’t help finding it interesting when they received the message.

They had been waiting the entire time since this was the scheme that Lin Fan had come up with, but they had found it a bit boring when nothing happened.

However, now that Deng You was causing a ruckus, it was time for them to show themselves and create some chaos.

Seeing that Lin Fan reacted like this, it was as if Deng You was filled with more confidence as she said, “She is the daughter of the disgrace of our Deng Family who ran away with an outsider. She is not someone that should be by the side of someone like the Junior Sovereign.”

Then with a wave of her hand, the guards of the Deng Family appeared.

“Junior Sovereign, we will remove this person from your side for you.”

The guards were about to come forward, but they stopped when they saw Lin Fan suddenly raise his hand. They all looked at Deng You with doubtful looks, but Deng You didn’t know what to do either since she didn’t know what Lin Fan was planning to do.

After a pause, Lin Fan just simply said, “I know all of that, but she is my person, so how could I let you do anything to her?”

“Huh?” Deng You was completely caught off guard when she heard this. She was caught off guard to the point where she really didn’t know what to say.

Deng Tong on the other hand couldn’t help revealing a grim look.

It wasn’t that he had expected this, but he had been preparing for the worst case scenario the entire time and this definitely was the worst case scenario.

It seemed like he had to figure out a way to help his sister get out of this without damaging the Deng Family.

Only neither Deng You or Deng Tong got the chance to do anything as a guard suddenly ran in with a terrified look on his face.

When everyone saw this guard, they couldn’t help feeling that there was something strange about him. After all, there was no reason for him to look like this unless something really big was about to happen.

“The…The…The…” The guard seemed like he wanted to say something, but it also seemed like he was too tongue tied to actually say it out loud.

Deng Tong sensed that something was wrong, so he said in a deep voice, “Spit it out already.”

This snapped the guard out of his daze and he quickly said, “The Fire Fist King and the Poison King have arrived.”

Pure silence followed after this.

After all, not a single person had expected the guard to say something like this.

At the same time, they couldn’t help slowly turning to look at Lin Fan.

Lin Fan just stood there with a smile on his face since this was his plan all along.
