With My System, I Can Even Tame Gods

Chapter 1137 - 1137: Absolute defense (1)

With Uri showing Lin Fan how to play with these pieces, it didn’t take long before they started moving them around.

The way that these pieces were used was almost as if they were a giant chessboard.

But the way that the pieces actually moved was different from how chess pieces moved.

In fact, there didn’t seem like there were any rules to how these pieces moved. It really seemed like these pieces just moved at random.

From time to time, there were even some pieces that suddenly started moving on their own all of a sudden.

Apparently, this was normal according to Uri.

Lin Fan just couldn’t make sense of what kind of game this actually was, but that didn’t really matter.

In fact, it seemed like Uri was excited even though he didn’t know what he was doing.

It seemed that Uri was just excited that he finally had someone to play with.

So that was why they continued playing this strange game with these pieces that seemed to have a will of their own.

During this time, Dungeon Core 563 and her group were trying to signal to Lin Fan in different ways while they stood in their corner. They were doing their best not to attract Uri’s attention while also trying to find a way out of this illusion.

But that didn’t matter as Uri was completely focused on Lin Fan.

After playing for a while, Uri said, “This is the most fun that I’ve had in a long time. Thank you for playing with me.”

Lin Fan just looked back at him with a smile before saying, “Then how about coming with us? Instead of being trapped in a place like this, I’m sure that you’ll have more fun coming with us.”

Dungeon Core 563’s group looked at Lin Fan with shocked looks as if they couldn’t believe what he was saying, but Lin Fan acted like he didn’t see this. The only thing that he was focused on right now was the reaction from Uri.

Uri didn’t answer right away as he just looked at Lin Fan with a strange look.

It wasn’t that Uri didn’t understand what Lin Fan was saying, it was just that he couldn’t believe that Lin Fan would say something like this.

But Lin Fan didn’t mind this as he waited for Uri’s answer.

After a long silence, Uri slowly asked, “Are you sure about this? Do you know what you’re asking me?”

Lin Fan gave a simple nod before saying, “That’s right, I know what I’m asking. But if you don’t want to come with me…”

“No, it’s not that!” Uri suddenly said, cutting Lin Fan off.

That made a smile creep onto Lin Fan’s face before he said, “Then since you’re willing to go, is there anything else that you need to worry about?”

Uri slowly gave a nod, but it still seemed like he felt that something was off.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to go, it was just that he felt that something wasn’t right about how things had turned out. But in the end, it didn’t seem like he was able to figure out what went wrong.

At the same time, it wasn’t as if he didn’t want to go.

Uri was the God of Loneliness, that meant that he had been alone for most of his life. That was how he had gained his powers in the first place…

It didn’t seem like either Lin Fan or Uri thought of what would happen if the God of Loneliness were to break his lonely isolation and go out with someone.

In the end, Uri said with a nod, “Alright, I’ll come with you.”

Lin Fan wasn’t worried about Uri rejecting his offer since he had already seen the notifications from the system. From that, he knew that Uri was already under his control because of the Love Gauge Taming Skill.

He had even made sure to ask this after he used the Love Gauge Taming Skill.

For the first time, he had actually tamed a god.

While it was a god that no one had heard of, which meant that it was most likely a minor god, it was still a god.

This was something that Lin Fan had never expected to happen…

After agreeing to go with him, Uri suddenly released the illusion world and they returned to the temple from before. Once they returned, it was as if there was something that had been triggered in this place.

That was because the room suddenly started to expand.

It was as if the space itself was expanding around them, but they could tell that this was just the room inside of this temple reverting back to its original size.

In the first place, this room was too small to be taking up the entire space of this temple. So there had to be other parts of the temple as well that were hidden behind the walls.

Or that was what they believed until they saw this expansion.

While they didn’t know how it was done, the walls themselves seemed to have been put over the items that were in the room and hid them from sight. Now that they had been pulled back as the room expanded, there were more things that were revealed.

The only thing was that these things were familiar.

These were small statues that were just like the one that was on the pedestal. At the same time, it seemed like there was the same godly aura that was coming from these statues.

Once they had been revealed, Uri said, “If you want to take me away, you’ll have to take away all of these as well. However, these things can’t be put together once they’re taken out of this place. There will be a form of rejection between them that will make it impossible for you to keep them near each other.”

Lin Fan didn’t really seem to understand what Uri meant by this, but he knew that this was a challenge that was posed by Uri. If he wanted to take Uri with him now that he tamed him, he would have to find a way to take all of these away with him.

“How far do they have to be?” Lin Fan suddenly asked.

Uri seemed to have been caught off guard by this question, but then he said, “They have to be placed several dozen meters apart.”

Lin Fan gave a simple nod before saying, “Then how about here?”

As soon as he said this, a white portal appeared.

There was a silence that followed before Uri said, “I never thought that you would have your own subspace. If it’s this, then it’ll work.”

Right after he said this, the smaller statues all around them suddenly floated into the air before making their way towards Lin Fan. But they weren’t aimed at him, but rather the white portal that he created to the Minor World.

With how big the Minor World was, it was more than big enough to satisfy Uri’s request.

At the same time, since it was the Minor World, it would be easy for Lin Fan to move all of these statues. As the owner of the Minor World, it would take only a single thought from Lin Fan to send all of the statues to different places.

When all of the statues had been sent into the Minor World, that was when the final statue that had been on the pedestal the entire time floated up as well.

But instead of going into the portal that led to the Minor World, it floated over to where Lin Fan was before Uri said, “We need to make a bond before I can leave with you.”

“Eh?” Lin Fan was surprised to hear this at first, but then he asked, “What do you have to do to make a bond?”

“Just stick out your hand for me.” Uri said in a cheerful voice.

Lin Fan gave a nod before reaching his hand out as Uri requested.

Then the statue suddenly came down to put the bottom of itself on the back of Lin Fan’s hand. After remaining on his hand for a bit, the statue floated up again.

But after it floated up, there was a light that came from Lin Fan’s hand.

There was some kind of mark that had been pressed on it.

“This is the mark of the God of Loneliness. This means that from now on, we’ve formed a bond and you can draw on my power.” Uri said in a cheerful voice.

Then the statue suddenly started to turn before it took the same form as inside of the illusion space. This was a little boy that suddenly landed on the ground in front of Lin Fan.

“Now, I can go with you.”

Lin Fan gave a simple nod in response to this before asking, “What kind of abilities do you have?”

“Absolute defense.” Uri said without any hesitation before adding, “That’s why those statues can’t be close together. They form a barrier if they aren’t sealed inside of this place and push each other apart. And it’s impossible for them to stop forming the barrier since they’re all my avatars.”

“Is that it?” Lin Fan couldn’t help asking.

“What else would a God of Loneliness need? I just need the ability to keep others away as the God of Loneliness.” Uri said as if this was a natural thing.

But that just made a bitter smile appear on Lin Fan’s face.

Though he couldn’t refute what Uri said.
