82 Third Brother

“Someone you know?”

Luo Ying sensed the danger in Lu Zhao’s tone and frowned. “He looked like one of my brothers.”

“A brother?” Lu Zhao mulled over these words. “Is he your biological brother? Didn’t Luo Feng disappear for a long time? From what I know, you don’t have a brother, right?”

Luo Ying’s mind was still spinning with the man she had just met, and she was upset.

That person wasn’t Luo Feng, but her real brother.

He wasn’t someone from this world. He was her third brother, someone from her original world.

Her third brother was the closest to her among her four brothers. Although they often played around, their temperaments and personalities were the most similar.

What was he doing here? Was she here to take her home?

Lu Zhao looked at Luo Ying’s suddenly happy expression and touched his cheek, a little impatient. “So, who is it?”

Luo Ying realized that she seemed to be too happy.

“He’s someone from my past. I just didn’t know where he was until now, so I’m a little confused.” Luo Ying lowered her head to hide her happiness.

Lu Zhao caught this small detail with his eyes.

What did she mean? Was it another man she liked other than Lin Su?

He had a lot of enemies.

“Let’s go back first. Otherwise, it won’t be good for Lin Xun and the rest to keep waiting.” Lu Zhao said, reaching out to pull Luo Ying into his arms, and the two of them went upstairs together.

Luo Ying was a little absent-minded in the second half of the game.

She felt an indescribable strangeness.

Since her third brother had a way to get here, it meant that she might be able to go back soon, but when she looked at Lu Zhao, she felt a little reluctant.

She had been here for less than a month, but why did she feel a sense of dependence when she looked at this man?

If she was asked to leave this place immediately, she would actually have second thoughts.

Luo Ying found an excuse and was about to go to the bathroom to sober up.

She dipped her hand in the water and patted it on her face. The cold water made her sober up.

Was that person really her third brother? It wasn’t a bad thing for her to go back now, but why did she feel so sad when she thought of this?

This was not the sorrow that came from being too deeply immersed in the character, but the actual reluctance to leave.

Luo Ying could not understand why she had grown so attached to this place, this soon.

“You’re here. I’ve finally caught you. I knew you would be here.” The man’s voice was cold.

It was still a greasy voice that made one feel nauseated.

Luo Ying turned around and looked at the man, frowning.

His leg was in a cast, and his face was full of scars from being tortured.

It was Wu Wei, the man she had offended before.

“Boss Wu, how did you survive that place?” Luo Ying smiled coldly. Although she was beginning to panic, she still maintained a poker face.

This man would not come to her for anything good.

“You caused me to lose my job and my family. It wasn’t easy for me to find a way to escape from that place. Don’t you think I should take revenge on you?”

Luo Ying slowly moved towards the door and reached out to open it.

The sharp knife in the man’s hand glimmered.

“This is Lu Zhao’s territory. You’re not thinking of doing anything to me, are you? Don’t forget how badly Lu Zhao made you suffer before,” Luo Ying said. “If you do anything to me, you may not live through it.”

“What do I have to live for?” Wu Wei’s smile was sinister.

Everything he had was destroyed. What he wanted to do most now was to destroy Luo Ying as well. If he wanted to go to hell, he had to find someone to accompany him.

Lu Zhao would probably die from the pain.

Wu Wei smiled as he walked over to Luo Ying.

Although Luo Ying had some training, she did not intend to put her skills to the test against a knife-wielder.

She moved slowly, trying to put some distance between her and Wu Wei, waiting for a suitable opportunity to escape.

The moment Wu Wei approached her, she raised her leg and kicked him in the stomach. She had aimed for his crotch, but missed.

Luo Ying cursed to herself.

Wu Wei revealed a sinister smile. “Don’t be so anxious, little beauty. To be honest, I would like to have some fun before I kill you!”
