Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives
Chapter 1599 - 1599: Edge of MadnessVillain Ch 1599. Edge of Madness
The Emperor raised both hands now.
Dark energy surged, spiraling up his arms like coiled serpents ready to strike.
“Dark Storm.”
The sky didn’t just crack open— It screamed.
Clouds twisted into a vortex of pure black mana, lightning laced with shadow tearing through the heavens. Wind howled like banshees. The temperature dropped fast—too fast—until even the fires on the ground hissed and died under the dark pressure.
And then…
It hit.
A storm of chaos.
Blades of wind, laced with demonic curses.
Bolts of black lightning, slamming into the earth and exploding on contact.
Gusts of corrupted mana, ripping up stone and soil as if the world itself wanted to vomit them out.
A full-blown apocalypse, summoned by one man.
Allen stood at the eye of the storm, cape flaring, hair wild, grin wide as hell.
And Alex?
Alex didn’t run.
He didn’t scream.
He stood.
Shaking. Bleeding. Barely breathing.
But standing.
He forced out a gasp. Raised his staff. And chanted faster.
“Sacred Ground! Divine Shelter!”
A pulse of gold exploded from beneath his feet.
Holy runes shot outward, forming a dome around the entire party—glowing bright even under the weight of the storm. The winds slammed into it. Lightning cracked over it. Cursed blades pierced it— But it held.
Mostly.
Alex’s HP and Mana plummeted. The damage bled through the barrier like poison through cracked glass.
His screen blurred. His breath hitched. His hands were raw from overcasting—skin split, blood dripping from his knuckles to the hilt of his staff.
But he didn’t stop.
He didn’t fall.
And when the storm began to calm, Allen’s eyes twitched.
Still no kill.
Still alive.
Still—fighting.
“Damn cockroach,” he growled under his breath.
But this time, there was a change in his tone.
That edge of madness?
Still there.
But laced with something else now.
Frustration.
Maybe even a little… respect.
He took a step forward.
Then another.
His sword dragged behind him, cutting a burning line across the scorched ground. The storm still crackled in the distance, echoing the chaos he’d just unleashed.
And still—the party stood.
Barely.
Scorched, bloodied, blinking through smoke and tears.
But together.
Alex, still at the center. Still glowing faintly. Still their last hope.
Allen’s eyes narrowed.
His lips curled.
“Fine.”
His voice dropped to a near-growl.
“Let’s see how bright you shine when I rip your heart out myself.”
And the party braced for hell.
They didn’t speak. They didn’t need to.
Just a glance between them. Bloodied, battered, outnumbered by their own fear—but not broken. Not yet.
Elio stepped forward first. His boots scraped against the blackened stone, his broken armor still smoldering from the storm. A trail of red ran down his temple, soaking into his collar. He wiped it with the back of his glove and exhaled.
“I’ll distract him,” he said simply.
“No,” Arcana coughed. “We all do.”
“Together,” Red_King growled, stepping in, hand resting on the haft of a sword that was already cracked in two.
Azura limped up behind them, blades at her sides, barely holding onto consciousness. But her eyes still burned.
Father^Alex said nothing.
He couldn’t.
He was on his knees now, panting, mana fumes curling from his hands. His gaze blinking critical. Every nerve in his body was screaming. But he looked up at them—at his team—and gave the smallest nod.
He still had their backs.
Even if he was crawling to do it.
[Time Remaining: 3:00]
Allen let out a slow exhale, spinning his blade once like he was warming up. His smile twisted.
“Fine. Give me your best shot.”
They charged.
Elio led the assault—Righteous Advance, a blinding holy rush. His sword ignited in golden light, symbols trailing behind him like angelic wings.
Allen didn’t dodge.
He met the charge with a raised blade—and parried it mid-sprint.
The clang was deafening. Sparks sprayed in every direction.
Elio grunted and twisted his body, trying to land a knee. Allen headbutted him instead. Elio reeled—blood burst from his nose.
Arcana blinked in behind—Holy Slash—his blade aimed at Allen’s ribs. For a brief second, it looked like he’d make it.
But Allen turned on instinct—Telekinesis Blast—and yanked Arcana’s legs out from under him. The sword missed by inches, clattering harmlessly across stone.
Red_King followed with a scream, both hands gripping his broken weapon like a club.
“RAAAHHH!”
He charged, reckless and full of rage, armor cracking with every step, boots slamming against scorched stone. His momentum was wild—unstoppable.
Or so he thought.
He brought the weapon down with all his strength—aimed straight for Allen’s skull.
But Allen… didn’t even blink.
He tilted his head. Just a little.
The strike missed.
Not because Allen dodged far.
Not because he used a flashy spell.
He just shifted—an inch to the left—like he was brushing aside a bug.
Red_King’s broken blade slammed into the ground, sending up sparks and ash. The shock of the miss traveled up his arms, jarring his grip, his elbows trembling.
His breath hitched.
Allen looked down at him. That slow, maddening grin spread wide across his face.
“That was it?” he whispered. “All that noise, and you can’t even scratch me?”
Red_King’s eyes widened.
“No—!”
Allen’s hand lashed out faster than lightning, grabbing him by the face.
-BOOM!
Demonic Orbs ignited point-blank.
Red_King flew backward, armor ablaze, his HP bar draining like water down a sinkhole.
He didn’t get up.
[Player Red_King has been eliminated by the Devil Emperor.]
His body hit the ground with a sickening thud, half his armor burned to ash.
“No!” Azura screamed.
She sprinted forward, blades spinning, charging like a banshee. She leapt, flipped midair, and brought both weapons down on Allen’s head.
He caught both mid-air. With one hand.
“Cute,” he said—and slammed her into the ground like a toy.
[Player VirtualValkyrie has been eliminated by the Devil Emperor.]
Arcana shouted and went in blind.
His blade shimmered—Frostbite Judgment, his strongest skill—cold mana swirling violently along the edge, ice runes glowing with deadly light.
