Jake had some skills and items to master, but he decided to go to sleep a bit earlier than usual. When he woke up, his bones were mostly back to normal, so he decided to work on the things he left for later. Mastering the items he obtained took two hours since the frozen grizzlies were no longer a challenge, but Jake felt that it was okay since he liked to increase his stock of shurikens, even if he rarely loses one.

Jake got some serious buff thanks to the last mission, so his strength would increase exponentially in the next few days. He would need those… While the bosses had become a bit complicated to deal with lately, Jake was struggling only to cause damage. In all other aspects, he was more or less acceptable. It could have been better… If he had caused more damage at some moments.
"The dark flames at their maximum output isn't something that I can rely on during all the fight, so it can't be helped," Jake thought. "In any case, those skills consume stamina, and I have a stock of them, so I should use them to help those level up since I rarely get the chance to use them against bosses."
So far, most of the bosses Jake had faced were huge ass, strength-based creatures. So Fierceness will also come in handy. The magic spear he got was quite good, but it would be hard to use aside from its effect. Jake couldn't change his fighting style that easily. It would be fun to use, though, now and then. Like it was fun to use the cavalry lance. At that point in time, he wondered if many people used to throw them as he does, but the answer was quite obvious...
"Putting that aside… I wonder for how long those guys will stay quiet," Jake thought.
That was a good moment for Jake to increase his power, but it was quite bothersome that the criminals were laying low… Instead of annoying, it would be more accurate to say that it was annoyingly nerve-wracking. The idea that his enemies were plotting things again in the darkness was precisely that. The idea of getting stronger while fighting those assholes seemed a lot more interesting… plus Jake could get more magic boxes.
In any case, after mastering the weapons he got and leveling up the skills he just learned a few times, Jake went home to make some potions for the rest of the day. He got a lot of essences before he fought the boss yesterday, so it was better to use them. With that in mind, he spent his day off doing only that.
The next day, as soon as the sun was up, Jake headed to the rabbit people's world. Although he raised his guard, he didn't find anyone or anything waiting at the starting point… even though that world suffered more damage than the previous one.
"Hmm… if this place didn't have so many people nearby, I wouldn't mind moving my base here," Jake thought.
Jake checked the walled the city that got attacked, and he could tell that it was repaired by its inhabitants and some people of other species, including humans. They sure were forgiven… At that point, Jake realized that he didn't interact much with other species, but other humans like Frederick sure were building a diplomatic relationship with them.
Regardless, Jake began to move toward the dungeon in order to save time. Who knows what might be waiting for him there, so he might as well try to finish things as soon as possible. Weirdly enough, Jake didn't find any monsters for a while, and when he approached the dungeon, he found a settlement there. It wasn't like the base of a guild, but it was pretty similar…
"What the hell…" Jake muttered when he confirmed that it was a settlement of humans in front of the dungeon. "This much lenience borderlines stupidity… I wouldn't trust my own species after they did this much, so why the morons of this world act like nothing had happened?"
It seemed that the people of that world were too forgiving… they probably had lost a few hundred people on the attack, and they still decided to work with humans so quickly… Regardless, that wasn't the issue. The real issue was that a guild was blocking his path to the dungeon. Jake was almost certain that some annoying guild master would be there to block his way, and he couldn't be bothered to talk with them...
"The guild masters probably decided to move their bases to prevent other attacks like those from happening again," Jake thought. "Most likely, the criminals can't attack all places… they would need a dungeon, near a big town, a relic, and I guess royal blood? In any case, the number of places where those factors exist is probably limited enough to let the guilds work to protect them."
A solo fighter like Jake probably won't be granted the chance to use the dungeon, even if the people there have no rights to claim ownership over the dungeon. Still, they had a good reason to do what they were doing… So, Jake will have to confirm that he wasn't an enemy to clear the dungeon.
Since Jake didn't try to hide himself while he was approaching, it didn't take long for some people to realize his presence, and some began to move to block his path. At least they didn't grab their weapons, or that would have pissed him off.
