Undying Warlord

Chapter 684 We're Fucked....But Not Really

Dilan understood that the Universe's Fate gave him a great opportunity with the Mystic Mission he had just received.

Milarn could be used to travel across the entire Universe as long one knew which Gates to use. Turning Milarn into one of the Main Ingredients for his True Divinity would mean that he would become the Supreme Ruler of the planet, that he would be informed where all Gates lead to and he had the highest priority of the administrative rights over all Gates.

Giving Dilan something like that, or precisely the opportunity to get his hands on Milarn was similar to slapping the older True Gods, and all high-ranked races.

They had worked together for eons to prevent anyone from becoming the sole ruler on a planet awoken by the Primordial Ascension, just for the Universe's Fate to provide an opportunity to the Undying, who was considered a newborn in the eyes of older races.

It was a big risk the Universe's Fate took b gambling on Dilan's success and he was not actually sure if it was worth it.

Who said that he could rescue the Universe from doom? Was that even something he wanted to do?

Even if those doubts were valid, it was also quite obvious that it was necessary for the Universe's Fate to reach out another helping hand to him.

Dilan was bound to become a True God in no time. Meanwhile, Nial would require much longer simply because he was in possession of a Mana Core rather than an Essence Crystal!

Nial's foundation would be much stronger than Dilan's, which was why his strength was likely to exceed Dilan's strength even after he got hold of the Flame of the Beginning.

ραпdα Йᴏνê|(сòm) In the end, it was not sure who would come out victorious in their battles but one thing was for sure; they had to become much stronger to survive!

The Unvierse' Fate understood that, and it was desperate enough to give Dilan a helping hand. After all, the birth of a new Veil had been much earlier than predicted.

Simply put, that meant not even someone like the Oracle was able to guess that the void cracked open so soon. This showed quite clearly that the Veils were something she couldn't predict, just like the actions and future of the Fate Changers.

They could only hope for the best and give their utmost to make sure the Fate Changers had enough time and opportunities to become stronger, that was it.

Not everyone believed in the uniqueness of Fate Changers, or even their existence, but that didn't really matter. One didn't have to believe in the existence of something for it to actually exist. At the same time, someone might mistake something and believe that it existed but that was actually not the case.

Of course, that didn't really matter to Dilan too much right now. He was currently trying to organize the flood of information that had entered his mind.

"It looks like we need to hold a proper gathering…I have a few things to share," Dilan said out loud, scratching the back of his head in discomfort.

Initially, he wanted to leave the flying island for a few more hunts but that would have to wait for the time being.

Dilan would be hunted by a bunch of powerful existences the moment his identity were to be exposed.please visit panda-:)ɴᴏᴠᴇ1.co)m

Everyone looked at Dilan in expectation, even Ariel Silvertale, who had still access to his system notification. She could see the huge golden message and she read through it a few times before Dilan displayed it to everyone.

Silence filled the room for almost half an hour. Everyone was baffled about the content of the Mystic Mission that had appeared out of nowhere and they ended up reading through the notification of the mission several times over and over again.

Once most Demi Gods in the room finished reading through the message, their throat felt soar and oddly tight. It was hard to breathe and they noticed only much later that their bodies were fully tensed up. Their hair stood up to its end and some were trembling.

Meanwhile, even the white-feathered wings of the Essence Angels were hard to be controlled. They got plushy and moved uncontrollably.

"...the requirements are not really simple, especially the part about the destruction of the Chaos Obelisk…" Ariel Silvertale pointed it out at one point.

"...and binding the sentience of the planet to his Sub Soulspace…" Rory added, just for Siegfried to point out the most complicated part,

"...and that he needs to protect his beloved!"

None of the requirements were easy to meet, especially added with the first remark. The displeasure of most old races was rather problematic, to the extent that they might come to Milarn and destroy the planet and everything and everyone living on it.

That would remove the trouble caused by the existence of Milarn, after all.

"I received a few additional pieces of information, but I didn't really have time to organize them properly yet," Dilan said before anyone else could name a few more problematic points.

He cleared his throat and began to reveal a flood of information that was barely organized. It was a big mess but Dilan didn't really care at this point.

Everyone in the room could be trusted since most signed a Soul Contract to never speak about the things mentioned during meetings. One was only allowed to speak about most topics during meetings where certain people were present and where outsiders, who didn't sign the soul contract, were not allowed.

This was to make sure that nobody could be tempted by other races' attempts to create spies in the midst of the flying islands' Ascenders.

The Essence Angels had also signed such a Soul Contract, whether they wanted or not. Ariel just told them to, so they did.

"So…to summarize everything…we're fucked, but not as much as we expected?" Williams summarized what he understood from the content Dilan had splurted out without break, which was not much.

"That hits the nail on the coffin, good summary!"
