Undying Warlord

Chapter 655 1 Versus 1

Dilan didn't really bother speaking with Rooster because the Archangel was annoying.

He was pretty sure that Rooster fell on his head shortly after he was born…probably a few times at that.

However, Dilan was unfortunate enough not to receive an answer from anyone. The two other Archangels were just looking at him, not sure what to say or think about the human being in front of them.

Even the Silver Chicken was not as violent as before anymore. Her silver eyes shone, brightly enough to exude a silver hue. Using his Mystic Eyes was enough for Dilan to figure that something else was looking through Silver Chicken's eyes.

'Looks like her Power watches me? How do I even know that…I can even see that, to be fair…'

The Divine Relict even increased the potency of his Mystic Eyes. It was as if his technique evolved to something much stronger, an ability that allowed him to see everything or almost everything.

But that was not everything because he was not confused by what he saw. Everything seemed to make sense…and that was nonsensical. He had no idea about these 'Powers' but he was certain that the Power of Silver Chicken were looking at him.

Dilan was even able to tell that there were multiple Powers glancing at him through her eyes.

That was probably why she was so silent and not as violent as before.

Meanwhile, Goldy looked at Dilan in silence as well. She frowned deeply and it looked like she was trying to figure out something while staring him down.

But there was no answer to the questions she seemed to have in mind.

As for Dilan's earlier question, nobody answered it. That was quite annoying but it was still something he could live with.

In the worst case, he would just force the Lesser Gods to answer him.

"Who the hell are you calling Musketeers!!!" Rooster roared out in anger and he turned in a white flash, using his Power of the Speed of Light.

Once developed to the extreme, the Power was supposed to allow the wielder to run at the speed of light. Whether the body of the power's wielder was able to endure something like that didn't matter.

As for Rooster, he was much faster than the Sun God and he emerged in front of Dilan at once.

However, Dilan had already predicted the attack of Rooster. Thus, it was no surprise when a huge wall weaved with bolts of lightning manifested in front of him.

'He really thinks that it's an insult, funny.'

Dilan felt like teasing Rooster a little bit more but there was no time for him to waste.

The Rooster's speed was comparable to the agility showcased by the True God Soul Shards he fought before, without using any special techniques, abilities, or the slightest bit of mana thought.

The brute strength of the True God Soul Shards was roughly the same speed Rooster was able to attain. That was pretty impressive and Dilan chose to test out the limits of his reinforced body.

The effect of the Divine Relict was truly exceptional, which was reaffirmed when Dilan activated the Walk of Thunder ability and the Second Acceleration ability, followed up by the Zephyr Step movement technique.

Dilan's mana was much purer and denser than before. At the same time, it looked like he had a much easier time multitasking. It was no problem for Dilan to circulate mana through his entire body to reinforce it while exerting the Zephyr Step movement technique.

His ankles didn't burst tens of times every second and there was no need for him to feel uncontrollable pain. Dilan was fine feeling pain but it was not as if he lost enough screws to actually seek the pain whenever he fought.

A fight without too much pain was also quite enjoyable.

That was why he was a little bit sad that he couldn't activate the item ability [Gravity Domain] because the Hyel Destructo Armor Set was currently inside his soul, getting repaired.

Instead of using the Gravity Domain, Dilan made use of his Green Magic. He controlled the winds around him precisely to make sure that there wouldn't be any air resistance bothering his movements in the air while ragings gusts would impact on Rooster all the time.

Rooster was still faster than Dilan and he emerged in front of the human after easily evading the wall of lightning.

However, before he could kill Dilan once again, the situation around them changed once again.

"Destruction…"

Dilan released his Domain of Destruction in a hundred-meter radius around him. It affected Rooster almost immediately and forced him to act hurriedly.

But Dilan was not yet done. He unleashed the power accumulated within the wall of lightning. The lightning bolts shot in Dilan's direction at a terrific speed and swept through Rooster, who hadn't expected the attack in his back.

In exchange, Dilan lost his right arm after Rooster had cut it off but that was not actually an equal exchange.

Dilan's True Undying Essence didn't even allow his right arm to separate from his body more than two centimeters before threads of his flesh, muscles and even his blood burst forth from his arm and his shoulder.

They connected to each other the instant Rooster's sword had cut through his arm.

It almost looked like Rooster's sword cut through a ghost rather than him crippling his opponent.

"Sorry, but your speed is worthless if you cannot injure me," Dilan voiced out while Oricalm turned into a heavy battle-axe. The battle axe's shaft was more than two meters long and the axe head was humongous and heavy.

Rooster's eyes flicked to the sudden appearance of the huge weapon. The weapon didn't move for a moment but Dilan certainly did. He had hoped to escape the cycle of pain in this fight but Goldy's expression make him feel uncomfortable.

Thus, Dilan chose the easiest solution to fight against Rooster; he used his body to restrict his opponent's movement! With that in mind, he pushed forward and made sure that Rooster's longsword pierced his abdomen until the tip and bits of the blade protrude on his back.

"You should evade that though!"
