Chapter 571 - Chapter 571: Chapter 571 The Real Pressure ComesChapter 571: Chapter 571 The Real Pressure Comes
Because of their advanced age and the constant pressure, not only Ling Jinhua, but both Ling Mingrui and Ling Qirui had poor sleep quality.
Ling Jinhua’s sleep was even worse, and he often had to rely on sleeping pills to fall asleep.
As his son, Ling Mingrui knew that if the old man snored slightly while sleeping, it meant he was sleeping deeply, entering a state of deep sleep. They couldn’t imagine, after just a few minutes of Luo Ziling’s treatment, the old man actually fell asleep peacefully; it was nothing short of a miracle.
But Luo Ziling’s treatment continued without stopping, maintaining the same level of dedication as at the beginning.
Ling Ruonan was quite nervous at first, but after watching for a while, she completely relaxed, and eventually, she looked at Luo Ziling treating the old man with an expression of ease and pride.
However, after watching for a while, she realized something was wrong.
Sweat began to accumulate on Luo Ziling’s face, and the white steam from his head increased. After over forty minutes, his face was so drenched in sweat it was as if rain was falling. Unable to bear seeing him like this, she quickly took a tissue, walked over, and wiped the sweat from Luo Ziling’s face.
It was not only her who noticed that Luo Ziling was expending a great deal of energy; Ling Mingrui and Ling Qirui also saw this and were slightly moved.
When Luo Ziling finished treating the last acupuncture point, his face was pale, and he was drenched in sweat. As he pulled out all the needles, put them into a small pouch, and prepared to stand up, he only managed to get halfway before his legs gave out, and he fell to the ground with a thud.
This startled Ling Mingrui and Ling Qirui; Ling Ruonan, even more so, turned pale with fright and quickly stepped forward to help him up.
“Ling’er, what’s wrong?” she asked anxiously, afraid that Luo Ziling had encountered some mishap.
“Mom, it’s okay, I just used up all my strength,” Luo Ziling, sitting on the ground, smiled awkwardly at Ling Ruonan. “Let me rest for a bit. I need to sit on the ground for a while; otherwise, I can’t get up.”
Ling Ruonan then noticed that Luo Ziling’s face was somewhat pale, and his clothes were drenched with sweat, giving off an odor of perspiration.
“Go sit on the bench over there and rest for a while,” Ling Ruonan said, reaching out to embrace Luo Ziling.
