The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 175 - 175 Dark Thoughts

175 Dark Thoughts

Kate’s Father watched Kyle’s departing back before turning around, close and locked the door again. Returning to the small room, he could see the little girl his wife was holding.

Kate originally didn’t want to sleep here, but when she was waiting for Kyle to come, she felt sleepy. Kate’s mother dragged her to the bed and Kate didn’t resist, the two of them ended up sleeping peacefully like this.

Kate’s Father sighed and dragged the additional bedsheet so that he could have some rest.

Kyle returned to his room and looked at the somewhat empty room. Kate only took out a bed and also an additional pillow for her at the side. There was naturally also blanket and pillow for Kyle.

Fuu!

Taking a deep breath, Kyle calmed his raging emotion and walked towards his bed slowly but surely. This room felt really empty without the presence of that little cat who kept on making trouble for him.

He knew how much he liked the presence of that little girl inside his room, waiting for him, being naughty at him, and others.

However, it was only now he felt very deeply how much that little cat had infiltrated into his life and how much she meant for him. Even if it was only for a night, Kyle didn’t want to stay separated with Kate.

.....

Not in the slightest bit.

He covered his face and took a deep breath before laying on his bed. If that mischievous girl were to know how dark he is, would she be willing to stay by his side? How possessive he was and how dangerous it would be to stay by his side…

She didn’t know anything.

Yet, Kyle was unwilling to let her go.

He closed his eyes. He couldn’t sleep as he was thinking about that naughty little cat. It was unknown when he finally fell asleep even though his posture didn’t change in the slightest bit from the very moment he landed on his bed.

“Meow.” <Yawn… huh?>

Kate looked down and saw that she had turned into a cat again at some unknown point of time. She looked at her mother and father who were sleeping and smiled faintly inside her heart.

It seemed that she fell asleep and then eventually sleep with her mother again.

Uh… how long has it been since the last time she slept with her?

Kate really couldn’t remember.

She leapt down and walked towards the door. Turning into a child, Kate easily unlocked the door and walked out. When she got out, she didn’t forget to lock the door again and then walked to the front lab door, unlocking the door and walked out before locking it again.

The key disappeared from her hand, entering her space, and then landed on the table where her parents were located.

‘If I’m a criminal, I can easily make a close room case.’

Kate’s lips twitched. She only needed to think about putting the key back and with her ability, it could be done very easily.

Shaking her head from those unnecessary thoughts, Kate walked in the direction of the stairs. She looked up at the security cameras that had been placed and smiled faintly. It was estimated that those who were guarding there would have long known that there was a child walking in the middle of the night.

How long would it be possible for her to hide the fact that she’s both a cat and a human?

Kate didn’t know and didn’t have any interest to try finding that out. She headed towards the third floor and saw that there was no longer any camera. Instead, there were some engravings on the metals and also faint current.

There must be security measure that Kyle had placed here while he was waiting for the others to wake up. And with his lightning ability, he technically powered them up by himself.

Probably, he also had set up battery here so that it could last a long time.

Kate didn’t care about it and walked to Kyle’s door. She looked at the security key in front of her and blinked her eyes before looking into the room. The key card inside Kyle’s pocket disappeared and appeared on Kate’s hand.

Klick!

Using it to open the door, Kate entered and looked at the bed in front of her. It seemed that Kyle was still sleeping. She closed the door again, which automatically locked and silently feel that her parents’ key should be changed today too. They only temporarily used that outdated key because they didn’t have the time to care for everything.

There were too many things that they needed to build.

Kate walked to the bed and slipped the key to Kyle’s pocket before turning into a cat again. She walked on the bed and meowed lightly.

“Meow.”

Moving to Kyle’s arm, she looked at his watch and saw that it was still 4 in the morning. Too early for them to wake up.

In that case, she would go to sleep too.

Just as Kate was about to slip away to her bed right beside the bed, Kyle’s hand suddenly moved and pulled her closer to him. To be exact, he was pulling her to his embrace.

This sudden motion shock Kate, making her unable to react in time and sat stiffly on her place. She looked at Kyle in disbelief as if she never expected that he would pull a little cat for a hug.

He was never like this before.

Or rather, she never tried to disturb him.

“Meow.” <Kyle, let me go>

Kate squirmed, but Kyle’s arm didn’t seem to budge. She never tried to get close to Kyle except when she tried to wake him up. Thus, Kate felt a bit uncomfortable. She didn’t want to wake him up but at the same time, she didn’t want to sleep while he was hugging her.

Even though she had slept when he was carrying her, but it was a different matter than sleeping on the bed.

“Meow.” <Kyleee, let me go>

Kate meowed a bit louder. In the end, she raised her paw and lightly slapped Kyle’s cheek.

Whatever, she will just wake him up.

Kyle blinked his eyes and lowered his eyes. Seeing the little cat that was staring at him accusingly, Kyle let out a low laugh. “What are you doing here, Little Kitty?”

“Meow!” <Aren’t you the one who pull me to your embrace?>

Kate hissed and Kyle let her go accompanied by the faint laugh from his mouth.
