Graven and Laura's family landed in Terros place. The old man was relaxing on the wooden bench during that time.

"What happened?" Terros asked, he stood up.

"Old man... take care of Laura's family for me! I can't stay long!" Graven said.

"Why? Where are you going?" Terros asked.

"I'm going back to the farm! I only brought ten of my men while the enemy is greater in numbers, my men are outnumbered! Then the workers there also need saving!" Graven explained hurriedly.

"Okay, I'll bring them now to Laura's place!" Terros replied.

"Much better! I gotta go!" Graven said and he vanished from the place instantly.

Terros looked at the frightened visitors, the two women were already crying, hugging each other. "Everyone, please calm down... calm down. You're safe in my place," he assured them.

Simon looked around the area. "W-where is this place?" he asked in a panicky voice.

"You are in my place in the forest," Terros replied.

"And who are you?" Simon asked.

"I'm Graven's Grandpa," Terros replied.

"C-can you please bring us to our daughter's place?" Simon requested.

"Sure! Just closed your eyes and don't open your eyes until I say so," Terros instructed them.

"Okay," Simon replied and closed his eyes.

Rosa and Sofia did the same.

Terros holds their arms and initiated the teleportation in his mind.

A few minutes later, they vanished from the place.

Meanwhile...

Back on the farm.

Sylvia looked at the prisoners on the ground. A mixture of vampire demon hybrid and human servants. She can't find what she's looking for. She looked at the leader of her men. "Where is Laura's family?" she asked.

"We apologized for our failure, Madam! It's too late for us to notice that they already disappeared from the house. Somebody took them away without our knowledge," the leader replied.

Sylvia looked at the abandoned house wearing a grim expression on her face.

"Madam, what are we going to do with the prisoners? Shall we bring them to our headquarters?" the leader asked.

Sylvia looked at the prisoners on the ground coldly. "Kill them all!" she ordered without mercy and entered the house. She wants to gather hints and clues where Laura's family has gone to.

A few seconds later, she heard the screams of the people outside and then followed by complete silence.

She went upstairs and checked the rooms. The clothes and stuff are still intact which means Laura's family was taken by someone powerful enough to transport them into another place using the teleportation process.

Damn! She arrived too late!

She went back downstairs and went to the dining room. There are still foods and kitchen utensils on the table - which means Laura's family were eating when they were taken away!

Nothing in the house can tell her where they have gone to!

She might as well go home.

When she exited the broken door... her eyes widened after seeing the spectacle outside.

"What the hell!?" she exclaimed in outrage.

Her men were frozen on the spot! And the prisoners were gone!

"What the fuck is going on!?" she howled.

She waved her hand at her men.

Her men were immediately unfrozen.

Sylvia addressed the leader. "What the hell happened while I'm inside the house?" she asked sharply.

"Madam, someone powerful arrived and freeze us all! Then he took all the prisoners away! They all disappeared from our view," the leader replied.

"Did you recognized his face?" Sylvia asked.

"No, Madam! It all happened so fast! He was wearing a black hooded cape and his face was covered by the hood. I can't see his face clearly," the leader replied.

Sylvia's face darkened in anger. "Trash this whole place! Destroy everything! And continue finding them everywhere!" she commanded furiously.

"Copy Madam!" the leader said and looked at his men, then gave his order. "Destroy everything and burn the whole place down!" he said.

A few minutes later.

The farmhouse, the stable, and everything was destroyed by fire and burned to the ground.

Satisfied, Sylvia leave her men behind and teleported back to her place alone.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

Meanwhile...

At Moraderry town. Inside Laura's manor.

The Helman family member was crying and hugging each other in the living room.

Terros was watching the emotional reunion unfolding in front of him.

Laura and her family settled on the couch.

Rosa noticed her daughter wearing a maternity dress, her eyes widened. "Daughter, a-are you pregnant?" she asked excitedly.

"Yes, Mother!" Laura answered proudly.

"Aww, my daughter is finally going to become a mother just like me!" Rosa smiled with happiness.

Simon's face brightened up. "This is good news! After a long wait! I'm finally going to become a grandfather!" he said in elation, the danger was forgotten momentarily.

"OMG! I'll have a cute baby niece or nephew, soon!" Sofia shrieked in delight.

pαпdα`noνɐ1`сoМ While the family is busy discussing the good news, Terros exited the house quietly and made himself invisible. He modified the invisible barrier and added three more people's essence in the formation so that the shield would protect and acknowledge them as part of the system and not harm them.

Back in the living room.

The women were busy talking about Laura's pregnancy but Simon was deeply worried, his mind was back on his farm, thinking of the people who are working there... would the vampires hurt his workers?

Damn! He closed his eyes. He remembered that those vampires didn't hesitate to hurt him being the old man that he is, they don't have an ounce of respect for humans! Sighing grimly, he already prepared himself mentally and emotionally for the worst... events like this... casualties can't be avoided... he just hopes that the others were spared. He can only hope.

Laura noticed the sad expression flashing on her father's face. "Father, what's wrong?" she asked.

"Daughter, Graven told us that vampires are lurking around the farm, I guess they have come to take us away. They will be furious if they discover that we vanished from the house and they will bring harm to the workers who are left behind!" Simon said in a frightened voice.

Laura patted her father's shoulder. "Father, I know how you feel. Let's just hope that Graven and his men were able to save the workers. Let's all pray for their safety!" she said.

"I want to go back to the farm to make sure that all my workers are safe!" Simon declared bravely, looking around the living room for the powerful old man who brought them here. He will request the old man to take him back to the farm. He just can't stay idle on the sideline not caring for the welfare of his workers. He doesn't care much about the money, he cares more about the lives that are going to be lost if the vampire couple will unleash death upon them.

Laura sighed. "Father, I won't allow you to go back to the farm again, too dangerous for you!" she said.

"Husband, please listen to our daughter! You can't go back there!" Rosa said agreeing to Laura's statement.

"Father, let's just stay here with sister Laura. It's much safer here compared to the farm! If we are bound to die, then we'll die together as one family!" Sofia insisted.

Simon looked at her adoptive daughter for a long time, then he speaks. "Alright, you are making sense, Sofia. Your mother and I are old already, we only have few years to live. We'll just stay under one roof as a family and weather the storm together," he finally agreed.

"Thank you, Father! We will just wait for my husband's return to bring us good news," Laura said.

The servant come forward and talked to Laura. "My Lady, the two rooms are already clean and ready for occupancy," she said.

"Good, tell the cook to start preparing foods for lunch," Laura told her.

"Ok, my lady," the servant said and left the living room going to the kitchen.

Laura addressed her family. "Let's go upstairs, I will settle you to your new rooms so that you can take a rest," she said.

Everyone climbed the stairs going to the second floor.

Laura settled her parents in their home. "From now on this is going to be your room. I will instruct the servant to buy clothes in the town this afternoon. You can rest now if you want," she told her parents. Tomorrow she will explain to her family about the invisible barrier that is protecting the entire property so that they will be aware of the whole situation.

"Thank you, daughter!" the couple said and lowered themselves on the comfy king-size bed.

Laura looked at her sister. "Sofia, come with me. I'll bring you to your room," she ordered.

Sofia followed her sister outside.

They entered the next room.

"This is your room from now on, sister," Laura said.

"Thank you, sister!" Sofia said and walked towards the closets, she opened it, it was empty.

Laura went to her sister's side. "Don't worry, I'll send the servants to the town to shop for clothes this afternoon," she said.

"Sis, can I go with the servants? I want to pick up my own stuff. I can also buy the best clothes for father and mother!" Sofia offered.

Laura pondered about her sister's suggestion for a few seconds, thinking that there's no harm, she finally agreed. "Okay, I'll have the servant accompany you. You'll go to town and ride in a carriage this afternoon. But you can't stay longer outside because it's dangerous. The enemy might just be lurking nearby, they might see you!" she warned her.

Sofia nods her head. "I understand, sister. I won't stay long outside. I will buy stuff quickly so that we can return home before the night comes," she assured her.

"Good! I will go back to my room now," Laura said.

"Sis, I want to take a bath, but I have no dress to change into," Sofia said.

"Come with me to my room, I'll give you some clothes and stuff," Laura said.

"Ok," Sofia replied.

The women exited the room.
