Chapter 364: Chapter 30: Caught in the Act_2 Chapter 364: Chapter 30: Caught in the Act_2 By her side, there was another woman, who appeared to be in her forties, wrapped in a long robe, dignified and yet mysterious, with especially profound eyes that shone with spirit.
On her forehead, there was a mark.
Behind them, two individuals dressed as housekeepers silently followed.
The four people walked toward the castle, directly unlocking and entering it.
Inside the castle, in front of the Cultivation Tower.
Xu Mo and Zero were still enjoying the delicacies when they heard footsteps approaching.
Both had excellent hearing and stiffened at the sound of the steps.
Panic flashed in Zero’s eyes, and she seemed at a loss.
She looked at Xu Mo, only to see that he too had frozen.
The person who could come in directly was obviously Zero’s mother.
A grand social death scene!
Xu Mo wanted to find a place to hide, but knowing Qiong’s terrifying level, he realized there was no escape.
Seeing Zero stand up, he had no choice but to steel himself and do the same.
Not far away, two figures appeared in front of them.

One of them Xu Mo had seen before, and it was indeed Zero’s mother.
“Auntie,”
Xu Mo called out, though his voice lacked confidence.
A pressure descended upon him, making the air around him feel as if it had solidified.
A tremendous oppressive force enveloped him, a spiritual pressure from the mental realm.
He noticed the person beside Zero’s mother, the source of the pressure.
“Qiong!”
Xu Mo guessed her identity, a terrifying being who could control S-rank monsters.
Zero’s mother’s gaze shifted between the two, her face covered with frost, and Xu Mo could imagine the fury in her heart.
This looked…
admittedly quite despicable of him!
But he hadn’t done anything, he had simply come to use the Cultivation Tower for cultivation.
“Mother,” Zero called out, subtly stepping forward, placing herself in front of Xu Mo.
It was she who had brought Xu Mo here, not expecting her mother to return so soon.
Zero’s mother had returned early because she saw Zero forfeit at the Transcendent competition.
She didn’t expect to come home to this scene.
It was worse than she had imagined.
Indeed, she had already brought him home.
She had grown up, become rebellious.
Had she been too strict in the past?
Seeing Zero in front of Xu Mo, Zero’s mother felt a mix of emotions, wondering if years of her hard work were about to be undone.
“Go back to your room,” Zero’s mother said to Zero, sighing inwardly.
Zero looked at her mother and shook her head.
“Go!”
Zero’s mother scolded, her expression suddenly stern as the temperature around them seemed to drop, creating a chilling atmosphere.
Zero was a bit scared, but still stubbornly faced her mother, shielding Xu Mo.
“I brought him here for Cultivation,” Zero said.
“Zero, go ahead,” Xu Mo spoke up, stepping forward and no longer allowing Zero to shield him.
He had to face it eventually.
He was ready to be beaten.
He accepted it!
Zero looked at him, then at her mother, but still didn’t move, she was worried.
“Zero, go,” Qiong also said, and Zero’s eyes reddened, tears almost appearing.
She was a bit scared.
Seeing Zero’s eyes, Zero’s mother knew it was over.
“I have some questions I need to ask him, you go ahead,” Zero’s mother’s tone softened a bit, and Zero looked at her, then at Xu Mo.
Seeing Xu Mo nod, she finally lifted her feet and left.
After Zero left, the pressure on Xu Mo increased.
Zero’s mother simply watched him as Qiong took a step forward, her profound eyes fixed on him.
They seemed to turn white as a terrifying spiritual power was released, invading his mind in an instant.
“Have you had any physical contact with Zero?” Qiong’s voice echoed directly in Xu Mo’s mind.
“No,” Xu Mo replied as his body floated up, beyond his control.
“Why have you come here?” Qiong asked.
“To cultivate in the Cultivation Tower,” Xu Mo responded, unable to resist Qiong’s Spell as he could with Zero’s.
“What is your relationship with Zero?” Qiong pressed on.
“Friends,” Xu Mo answered.
“Have you ever deceived Zero?” The voice bombarded Xu Mo’s mind, making him feel as if he was on the verge of mental collapse.
“No,” Xu Mo gritted his teeth, overwhelmed by an immense sense of terror that led to despair.
The next moment, Xu Mo’s figure landed, feeling as if drained of all strength, his body soaked with sweat as if he had just walked through the gates of hell.
Hearing this, Zero’s mother’s expression softened somewhat, no longer as icy as before.
The situation was not as bad as she had imagined.
“I’m sorry,” Zero’s mother said: “However, I hope you can understand my feelings.”
Although she said sorry, there wasn’t much of an apology in her tone.
These questions had to be asked.
“I understand,” Xu Mo responded, glancing at Qiong.
This old witch!
He had absolutely no power to resist.
“Why did Zero send you to the Cultivation Tower?” Zero’s mother asked, no longer using Qiong to enforce Mind Control.
“Zero thinks I’m suited for the Cultivation Tower,” Xu Mo said: “Probably hoping I would advance in the Transcendant’s competition.”
“You cultivate spiritual power?” Zero’s mother inquired.
“Yes,” Xu Mo nodded.
“Let me see,” Zero’s mother requested.
Xu Mo’s spiritual power controlled Source Power, and instantly currents of electricity appeared all around.
At the same time, the temperature around them dropped sharply.
“Source Power control?” Zero’s mother scrutinized Xu Mo.
Xu Mo extended his hand, and items in the distance started moving, then floated up in the air.
Xu Mo made no attempt to hide his Superpower, conscious that this was not the time to conceal his abilities.
To gain respect, he needed to show his strength; otherwise, he would be further scorned and seen as a fraud.
Zero’s mother’s face softened more when she saw Xu Mo appear in her home.
The anger she must have felt was imaginable; she probably thought of the worst-case scenario where Zero had been deceived.
She was well aware that her daughter lacked experience in emotional matters and was inexperienced.
But as she learned more, she realized it wasn’t as bad as she had thought.
Naturally, it relieved her, like surviving a calamity.
If her daughter made a small mistake, it was forgivable.
However, bringing Xu Mo home meant that Zero did not consider him just an ordinary friend.
“Your name is Xu Mo, right?” Zero’s mother asked.
“Yes,” Xu Mo nodded.
“I’m not against Zero making friends, but she is not like other people, as you might have noticed.
I don’t want her to get hurt in the future, so I hope you won’t cross the boundaries of friendship, okay?” Zero’s mother said.
“Okay,” Xu Mo agreed.
This was perhaps more than just a piece of advice.
After all, with the opponent’s terrifying strength, if he dared to do anything to harm Zero, he probably wouldn’t even know how he died.
“Thank you,” Zero’s mother said politely: “Qiong, lift the Spell from him.”
Qiong nodded, stepped forward, and looked at Xu Mo.
Suddenly, Xu Mo felt a terrifying Spiritual Suppression rushing into his mind.
Qiong articulated a sound in a language unfamiliar to Xu Mo, resembling a Spell, and in an instant, his head felt as though it would explode under the extreme pressure on his spiritual power.
Voices erupted, all invading his mind and exploding within it.
Xu Mo felt completely unable to control his spiritual power, as if bound.
He strained desperately to break free.
“What is this sound?” Xu Mo’s heart raced.
Could this old witch indeed conjure Spells?
As another Spell struck, his spiritual power was stimulated intensely, and Xu Mo only felt an excruciating headache.
He covered his head with his hands while Qiong continued to utter sounds, the area overflowing with Spiritual Suppression.
Zero’s mother watched Xu Mo from the sidelines, her expression unchanged, curious to see how long he could endure.
Xu Mo, in agony, clutched his head, unable to utter a sound, feeling as though he might mentally collapse and die at any moment.
Suddenly, the Source Power around him erupted, rushing wildly toward Xu Mo.
Qiong revealed a hint of surprise, and her lips moved faster.

The muscles in Xu Mo’s face twisted and convulsed.
With a boom, Xu Mo felt as if his spiritual power exploded, and then he lost consciousness, collapsing to the ground!
