Chapter 717: The Dark Blade Imperial Court
Translator: Alsey Editor: Chrissy
Outside the Earth, the sound of the bugle horn pierced through the ashy universe like the wail of a spirit, numbing people’s scalps. The Dark Blade Imperial Court was on an invasion, bringing a surging storm!
The starry seas were impassioned!
Over all these years, the Sky-Piercer had rarely launched a large-scale murdering operation of this sort. One could even call this a war!
Previously, the Dark Blade Imperial Court was the eighth most powerful division under the banner of the Sky-Piercer. Later on, however, the dark hunters on that planet had become increasingly stronger. In the end, they took the dark blade as their symbol and founded an imperial court.
Now some believed they had already proceeded to the top three among the Sky-Piercer’s divisions, and so they were known as the Dark Blade Imperial Court!
In the last 500 years, the Dark Blade Imperial Court had sounded their bugle horn a total of three times, launching large-scale murdering operations. In the end, they had eliminated an incomparably formidable orthodoxy every time. They conducted the extermination of a clan three times and massacred more than a dozen vital planets controlled by those three great orthodoxies.
Unconditionally, this was a cold-blooded imperial court and every single person connected to the those three orthodoxies were annihilated once and for all!
It was just because those three orthodoxies had killed their direct descendent, a trump card killer, before. Their desire for revenge was vigorous and using a bloody reality, they told everyone that provoking them would lead to dire consequences.
This kind of terrifying battle accomplishment also led to those from the Sky-Piercer to become more and more domineering!
Although they were known as the Dark Imperial Court, no one was able to find where they were really. Some said they didn’t have a fixed residence and wandered throughout the entire universe.
Others said they had flashy identities. On the surface, they looked splendid and like they were of noble status, and in reality, they were a rich and famous orthodoxy. They would only expose their fierce talons and teeth at crucial moments when they were needed, killing on the sly!
In fact, there were some who said this Dark Imperial Court was, in fact, genuinely an ancient imperial court. They only transformed surreptitiously when they were hunting and all of the experts from the court would come out in full strength.
Clearly, the Dark Blade Imperial Court’s descent upon Earth was a rousing event. Many focused their attention on it and were shocked.
Originally, there were many groups of people from different races gathering in the outer space outside Earth. There were also numerous universe pirates, interstellar explorers, and so on. A lot of them were at the golden-bodied level and were waiting for the moment that they could descend. They were going to flock in to strive for fortunes.
Yet they were now falling back like a tide withdrawing. They were leaving enough space between them and the Dark Blade Imperial Court as they were afraid of bumping into the hunters.
At the moment, no one could work out where the sound of the bugle horn came from. However, waves of sword-resonating noises could be heard in the empty void. Then people watched as several hundred dark swords appeared, sweeping across the sky.
“The Dark Blade Imperial Court’s war bastion is here. It’s hidden within the empty void, and it’s called out to several hundred hunters immediately. They’re going to start attacking!”
Some spoke in low voices.
In fact this time, the Sky-Piercer’s resolution exceeded everyone’s expectations as they were going to war pledging to kill Chu Feng.
Buzz, buzz, buzz!
The empty void rattled. People found more than a thousand dark swords had appeared, rushing out from a broken void. Then they quickly vanished once again.
“Goodness! More than a thousand hunters have been called to this place. It’s unbelievable!”
People were convinced that this was indeed war!
What was called a war bastion was a dark imperial city. It was part of the Dark Blade Imperial Court’s large-scale spatial weapon and could traverse across the universe. It had now appeared outside Earth!
But this was rather unusual. Like Chu Feng’s green bamboo boat, it could conceal itself in space without others noticing it.
This supreme spatial weapon made many famous orthodoxies frown upon hearing of it. It could infiltrate into the galaxy at any time. Suddenly, the war started.
But the Dark Blade Imperial Court was belittling the Earth’s evolvers with their brazen arrival today as they suppressed the area with such a great force. They didn’t respect them.
“We’re here to slaughter you!”
The declaration made on that day in outer space was cold and merciless with disdain at the same time. They wanted to kill Chu Feng as well as start to establish an even stronger subdivision here.
Otherwise, there would’ve been no need to muster such large forces.
After that, there wasn’t much activity within the outer space.
Only occasionally were there bursts of dark sword beams. A thousand dark hunters were hibernating, concealed, in the outer realms. They were prepared to shoot their thousands of swords simultaneously and storm into Earth whenever necessary.
There had been a saint peeping at them. Then a dark fuzzy silhouette came out and disappeared into the solar system, and this alarmed the saints from the other groups. He had turned and left.
Even at their level, they didn’t want to provoke the dark saint. They didn’t want to be targeted by killers at the same level as themselves.
“The evolvers on this planet are still too weak, but we can’t descend with the protection of the star’s will there.”
A hoarse voice said in the outer space outside the Earth.
“We could get in touch with the native forces. If we have this planet’s key energy pagoda, then it could receive us so that we could pass safely.”
“The information is that on this declining planet, we could use the lands of Penglai, Fang Zhang, and Ying Zhou. But right now, it’s unclear if there are energy pagodas there.”
“It’s most likely there aren’t, otherwise, other orthodoxies would’ve already obtained them, invading them with their great armies. We need to think of other ways. Let’s get our young fellows and interstellar explorers to unearth the remains to try and find a suitable energy pagoda so that it could let us through.”
This was the conversation between the quasi-saints. If these hunters did indeed come into Earth, they would be unparalleled!
And so Chu Feng, who was currently looking up into the sky in the Eastern Sea, flew up into the clouds. He opened his eyes to use his Fiery Eyes and emitted a long divine ray of light.
The scene on this particular night was astonishing as the two beams of golden light reached into the outer realms!
Then he saw a dark war bastion measuring hundreds of meters long and wide floating in outer space outside Earth. Even though it could hide itself, Chu Feng’s Fiery Eyes caught it!
“The rumors that the Dark Blade Imperial Court have a gigantic war bastion are true. It looks like an imperial city and could cross the universe to come to Earth!”
Chu Feng knew his opponent had a great appetite and wanted to settle here. He knew they wanted to grab this excellent opportunity of the Earth recovering to increase the imperial court’s power as a whole.
Above all, the Earth at the present time was too enticing to young evolvers as there were a lot of benefits.
“He he...”
In the sky where the moon was bright and the stars were sparse came the sound of chilling laughter. It pricked at one’s bones.
“You’re just like an ant, yet you still dare to look up at the dark court. You’re very lucky. You’re clearly as puny as an ant, but nevertheless, you draw us in. Even if you’re squished to death, you’re still proud of yourself. But killing you is just a side effect of sharpening out offspring and descendents. Most importantly, we want to enter and host this planet while making this place our home. From now on, the natives here are all our external members. If they dare not to obey, then only their blood and bone will remain.”
This cold voice transmitted through space as well as into Chu Feng’s heart.
A quasi-saint in the outer realms had discovered Chu Feng’s snooping!
“You’re just a dark, not fit to be seen killing organization. As a group of clowns, you don’t even have the face to walk in the light but you have the nerve to be insolent? Come down now if you have the guts to. I’ll kick your head in!”
Shua, shua, shua!
More than a dozen shadows appeared in the war bastion. Some of them were still very young and looked down at the planet below. The divine radiance in their eyes was surging.
A man completely enshrouded in a black gown, conceited and with contempt, said, “Chu Feng, you can count the days you have left, which isn’t many.”
Another woman concealed in a black gown began to talk and said, “I’ll give you a chance. Come over here now if you want to die with dignity. We’ll have a talk at the war bastion and we’ll grant you your death.”
“@#¥!”
With regards to these people’s attitudes, Chu Feng responded ardently with the Earth’s First Scripture—the Three Character Classic!
The dark hunters in the sky were all leading figures and were of the golden-bodied level. They were important high-level members in the new subdivision that they wanted to establish on Earth.
Some of them were, in comparison, quite “young”, aged only a few decades old. The rate of their evolution was insanely terrifying. Not only were they the up-and-coming talents within the Dark Blade Imperial Court, they were also well-known throughout the entire Sky-Piercer. Their potential was without a boundary.
Now, their dispositions were stiff as they encountered Chu Feng’s Three Character Classic.
“Hehe. you ant, who do you think you are to talk to us? Just wait to be destroyed. If we didn’t possess hope for the natives here, looking to see if we could trigger your ancestral blood to develop into new members for our new base for hunters, we would’ve definitely massacred the creatures on this whole planet. But this time, you and those who are connected to you will be wiped out completely, so go and enjoy the last moments of your life.”
In the sky, there was a female golden-bodied hunter full of disdain, as though talking to Chu Feng any further would lower her own status.
“@#¥!”
Chu Feng responded again with his Three Character Classic. Since being reasonable wasn’t getting through, then he had sent his greetings in a more intimate and intense way.
From tonight onward, the Earth’s Three Character Classic became a succinct insult, widely used and popular across the starry skies.
When evolvers flew into a rage out of humiliation, they would use the Chu Clan Three Character Classic. In the end, it led to people following him as an example because it possessed immense harmfulness.
With regards to many other races who thought of themselves as highly civilized, these kind of scriptures had disappeared long ago. Since their baptism, they now found it too rude.
“You dark creatures of the night, await your death!” Chu Feng said finally before he turned and departed.
Not long after, he rose up into the sky once again and charged into the atmosphere. There was a ripping noise as his sword beam grew dramatically. He beheaded the eight hunters who had discreetly infiltrated into the Earth before walking off, leaving another thought for those left behind.
“These are the people from the Dark Blade Imperial Court? How weak. The golden-bodied levelled ones should come soon!” Chu Feng laughed as he vanished into the Eastern Sea.
“You worm, soon the result will become apparent. You will die miserably and be refined into the wick for a dark oil lamp. You’ll burn for a thousand years in order to ensure you’ll remain alive forever.”
“Ant, you and your parents, relatives, and members of your entire clan will all be waiting for your death!”
In the sky, the new talents amongst the killers were communicating secretly, plotting to threaten Chu Feng. Unfortunately, the golden-bodied forces couldn’t come down.
At Mount Eternal, Chu Feng was discussing matters with the black yak, Ouyang Feng, He Qifeng, Yellow Ox, and the others.
These dark hunters wanted to entice Uncle Ming so that he would come out, but they had another even greater scheme to trigger the sagemaster. Thereby would they would make him sit upon the copper coffin that they had gathered from the primal chaos in the dilapidated universe?
Chu Feng as well as Yellow Ox and the others all unanimously believed the people from the Sky-Piercer weren’t simply crazy. They were trying to cover up the actual facts and this could be entrusted to them by a frightening existence. They were going to throw a long line to catch a big fish!
Those at Mount Eternal thought that they should be utilizing so much resources to kill just Chu Feng. Now, regardless of whether they were drawing their bows or hanging their swords, they just wanted to find the real big player.
There was no need for this even if they wanted to set up a new subdivision on Earth.
“The Sky-Piercer have probably already joined forces with some of the strongest races in the universe. They’ve probably received commission for some sort of insane assassination.”
Chu Feng was ready to leave after a series of discussions. He wanted to go and eliminate the Dark Blade Imperial Court!
“There’s no need for Uncle Ming to be involved and there’s no need to arouse the sagemaster. We’ll strive to destroy them!” Chu Feng said.
After Chu Feng left Mount Eternal, nothing could remain tranquil.
“We’re ashamed as it’s always Chu Feng rushing ahead alone. This time, we’ll make something big!” the black yak suddenly said. He was somewhat determined and looked toward Yellow Ox and Ouyang Feng.
“Yes, let’s give everyone in the outer realms a ‘surprise’!” Yellow Ox nodded solemnly.
