The rise of the pervert primordial

Feeling the threatening sensation coming from the giant soul condensed tree which had grown a row of leaves, the giant pair of hands, suddenly increased the strength it was using to try and retreat into the darkness.

Which made both Agnes and Valentina frown, their soul energy reserves just went down by a whole third part in a single go, due to that sudden pull, and they weren’t the only ones, Aster’s soul energy also decreased in nearly half of it, he isn’t even at the Spirit Trial realm after all.

That being said, since Aster didn’t show any urgency, the two Fey princesses simply increased the output of their soul condensation to once again restrain the giant hands.

‘I know you can hear me, an attack from those girl’s soul energy won’t really harm you but it will be incredibly beneficial for them, so cooperate, or you can take an attack from me, your choice’, said Aster to the darkness, a corner of the golden wall he had condensed with his soul energy changed its tone.

It was just a slight change in color, but the sensation it radiated was completely different, for a good reason, there was annihilation added to it, it wasn’t touching the giant hands, but just the proximity to it, was enough for the owner of said hands to feel it.

‘…’, there was no answer to Aster’s words, however very much to Agnes and Valentina’s surprise, the strong pulling force that was burning through their soul energy reserves, suddenly diminished in half.

Which made a certain pink haired girl, whose soul was once exposed to the aura of annihilation, giggle at the previous, after that experience, she is probably the only one who can feel the proximity of annihilation with her soul, of course this time she didn’t feel any pain nor discomfort, in fact she touched the necklace which now only served as a decoration for her pretty neck and smiled to herself.

‘To think I would see a day where someone would be happy to have their soul exposed to Annihilation’, mumbled Rya from within the mind space.

‘That’s my darling for you~’, playfully added Lilia, making Aster bitterly smile, leaving that little exchange aside, since his “offer” was accepted by the other party, he gave the order.

“Now!”, since the girls were told to be prepared, they had already gathered their soul energies on their hands, which resulted in a multicolored sea of lights to illuminate the vicinity, though it didn’t last for long.

All the girls who were capable of using soul energy, placed their hands on the giant tree created by Eris, this included Aria, Vivian, Nerissa and the others, who of course wanted to participate as well, of course the little girl Kana also placed her hand on the tree.

The result was that their soul condensed energy was absorbed by the tree, which in exchange grew countless leaves of different colors, in a matter of seconds it turned into a rainbow tree that seemed to have come out of a fairy tale due to its ethereal appearance, since it is ultimately a recollection of soul energy, created thanks to a formation.

“Woah, it’s so pretty~”, exclaimed the youngest disciples, let alone the senior sisters, but even the elders were enthralled by the mystical appearance of the tree which had taken in the soul energy of more than a hundred people.

Wade on the other hand, nearly suffered a stroke at the sight of such a strange formation, being deployed by someone from a mere middle grade Stellar System, that wasn’t even at the Transcending realms in the soul path.

Eris who didn’t pay the slightest attention to anyone but Aster, who nodded at her, proudly smiled as she placed her hands together.

“Heavenly Tree Formation, Soul Spring”, with a few words from Eris, all the leaves that had grown on the tree lit up, to then lighten the sky above.

“Booooom!”, the light produced by the tree landed on the arms connected to the giant hands which even now were being restrained by Aster, Agnes and Valentina.

The result was a loud shockwave, as that attack was basically an amplified telekinetic shock, which carried the soul energy of all those that contributed to the leaves that bloomed on the tree.

After a moment of blindness produced by the impact between the tree’s attack and the energy that protected the giant arms, the result was revealed for everyone, there was a one meter “scratch” that appeared on the giant arm, out of which a single drop of black blood the size of a palm, seeped out.

‘Hoh, that wasn’t part of the deal, should I take it as a sign of goodwill, then?’, said Aster to the darkness, there was no answer but the that single drop of blood fell from the arm and flew by itself towards Aster, who smiled as he said.

“Let’s head back”, Valentina and Agnes were burning with curiosity, but they nodded and both dispelled their soul avatars, to then descend from the sky.

Aster smirked at Wade’s direction, making the latter grit his teeth as he saw the black-haired youth take out a golden jade container to bottle that big drop of black blood, before sending it into a spatial treasure.

‘What the hell was that, was he rewarded by damaging the owner of those giant hands, was it even possible to do that to begin with, not to mention that woman… I have never seen a formation like that, was she raised in secret by the Talis, if so, why would they give her to the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley!’, screamed Wade in his heart.

Aster descended from the sky and was welcomed by a bunch of happy girls, they had “fun” fighting the ghosts and got to see something amazing in the form of that formation, speaking of which Eris who was sitting down on the ground while “heavily” breathing, was surrounded by a sea of curious girls, who wanted to speak with her.

“Don’t trouble her too much, she has to rest after using such strong formation”, said Aster, which prevented Eris from being drowned in a sea of enthusiastic girls, though they did look a bit down due to it, at least until they heard Aster’s next words.

“What’s up with the long faces, you are all about to be rewarded”.

“Mm?”, Aster’s declaration made practically all the presents look at him, just to see his hand pointing upwards where a bunch of dark blue flames, similar to those that burned on the lamps, suddenly appeared.

The blue flames turned into a board which had flaming words on it, to display the previous message, then around half of the girls from the sect, disciples and elders included, suddenly glowed in a dim blue light.

Normally, they would have been worried by being affected by a foreign power, but the elders and disciples saw Aster calmly being covered in the same light and they didn’t resist, which proved to be the right thing to do the next second when they realized what was happening.

“I-I broke through!”, exclaimed a girl from the Black Sword faction, she had the soul path as her secondary one, and despite being an early-stage Star Tribulation in her energy path, meaning that she is in the top thirty within the heavenly ranks of the core disciples, her soul cultivation was only at the middle stage of the Star Formation realm, until a second ago.

She just advanced to the peak of the Star Formation realm, and in case you think that’s too little, you must know that before meeting Aster, Iris and Nerissa were at the early stage of the Stellar Constellation realm in their respective secondary paths, which is the next realm after the Star Formation.

So that girl is now only one minor realm away from the previous point at which two of the top three core disciples, used to be a few months ago, and she isn’t the only one, basically every disciple between the ranks 11 and 30, who has cultivated the soul, was the same, they became peak Star Formation realm soul cultivators in a single go, a total of six.

And that isn’t all, two of the top ten… became Stellar Constellation realm soul cultivators, the elders who were all at the Stellar Constellation in their secondary soul path, didn’t advance which made a few of them pout, but they weren’t the only ones, basically everyone whose soul path was at the Stellar Constellation or above didn’t get an instant advance, and that included Aster.

However, a few among the ones that didn’t advance, noticed that their reward was actually better than just an instant advance, the purity of their soul energy had gone up a notch, and that meant that they won’t be facing any bottleneck until they reach the peak of their current realm in the soul path.

“Mmm, so does this count as gift from a date, Aster?”, casually asked Vivian, who was marveled at the smoothness a which her soul energy flowed, thanks to this, she’ll reach the peak of the Spirit Trial realm without any delays in the near future, keep in mind that though her soul cultivation is higher than her energy one, she is a main energy path cultivator.

In other words, she can now completely focus in advancing in the energy path, and her soul one will reach the peak of the Earthly realms by itself, and that would put her on par with Valentina once she advances in her main energy path of course.

But let’s leave that aside, her words were much more impactful than she basically being guaranteed to be at the same level as a Fey princess in the open, at least for the swarm of girls who blushed at the word “date”.

“Ahem, this is a reward that all of you earned”, limited to say Aster, making some of the girls giggle, thinking that their beloved senior brother was being shy.

Unfortunately, the merry atmosphere was interrupted by a group coming from the other party with angered faces.

“Hey, what is the meaning of this, why are we not being rewarded!”, exclaimed an elder from the Blazeheart, he is the one that nearly got frozen by the yin energy radiated by the giant hands earlier.

“Who knows, in any case why are you asking me?”, casually said Aster, which made an elder from the Iron Hall tremble due to anger.

“Because this is most likely your doing!”, he screamed to which Aster shrugged, he couldn’t be bothered with rabid dogs that wanted to bite anyone they could, and he didn’t have to worry as he knew that they wouldn’t dare to attack them out of fear for punishment.

“Y-You!”, the elders who were royally ignored by Aster, who instead inspected the girls who had broken through to verify that there wasn’t any problem with their soul cultivation, the little girl who was brightly smiling after jumping a minor realm, included, nearly charged at Aster, but were stopped by Wade who instead looked at the flaming words floating in the sky.

“We also fought those ghosts, so why are we not receiving any reward?”, he asked, surprisingly he got an answer right away.

It was a short and clear answer, which put Wade into contemplation, they also fought the ghosts, and though in a smaller quantity, they managed to drive away some of them.

‘What did they do that we didn’t, it couldn’t be those giant hands, otherwise why would the other ghosts appear, that must have been a “bonus” stage…’, Wade’s eyes contracted as a realization hit him like a bolt out of the blue.

“It’s because we used other powers in the “Soul Trial”, damn it”, he said, which made Aster clap his hands.

“Turns out you are not as stupid as I thought”, he mockingly said, which made the elder from the Blazeheart shout as he pointed at Aster.

“Nonsense, that bastard used yang energy and still got rewarded!”, he was incensed, why was the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley, rewarded after using yang energy while he didn’t get anything when he did the same.

[No infringement detected on the signaled participant, a warning will be issued for defamation, if repeated a fitting punishment will be administrated to the perpetrator]

The elder from the Blazeheart nearly vomited blood, he wanted to accuse Aster and instead got reprimanded, if he tried to do so again, he will get punished and it has been proven that whoever set this place up, could give or take realms.

Aster smirked at the elder, he had the words “Come on, say something if you dare”, written all over his face, which resulted in the girls from the sect giggling, and that was like adding fuel to the fire of the Blazeheart elder’s anger.

The reason as to why Aster still got rewarded despite using other powers besides soul energy, is simple, he never attacked the ghosts with anything but soul energy, when he used yang radiance, unlike the elders who threw their yang energy at the ghosts, Aster simply covered the girls from the sect.

The ghosts got scared without being touched by it, therefore he didn’t attack them with his yang energy, the same applied to annihilation.

“Then how come those who haven’t even reached the Transcending realms, had no problem to deal with ghosts that we had to fight as a group, if that’s not cheating then what the hell is it!”, said an elder from the Bayer family.

He still couldn’t get over the fact that his lightning couldn’t deal with a single ghost, but there were girls the age of his daughter who beat a dozen of them.

“Would you look at that, a Void Manipulation cultivator, complaining about unfairness because he didn’t have an enemy at the Earthly realms, when more than half of his team is composed of Transcending realm cultivators”, jokingly said Aster, making the elder from the Bayer family see red.

“You knew this from the very beginning you bastard, that’s why you brought all those damn disciples with you!”, he exclaimed to which Aster shrugged in response.

“Nope, my cute juniors wanted to participate so I brought them, and in any case, it wouldn’t have made a difference, even if I brought only Transcending realm cultivators in my team, since the battle prowess on our side isn’t trash”, he said.

“What did you say!”, the elder from the Bayer family had blue lightning crackling on his body, until Wade’s spirit energy blocked his path.

“Enough!”, with a single word, the Bayer elder calmed himself down, he nearly got punished a second ago.

“You really pulled a fast one on us, Lord of the Twin Sword Valley, fine I’ll concede this time, looks like you’ll have an easier time during the incoming trials, so enjoy it while you can, let’s go!”, said Wade with a poisonous glare to then turn around.

‘Just you wait, we’ll get the rewards from the next trials and kill you as soon as we get the chance’, he swore in his heart, unaware that Aster was laughing at his back, because the next trials didn’t matter for him, there won’t be any more special rewards.

‘Look at him getting all fired up, it’s going to be fun to watch their reaction later’, amusedly thought Aster as he turned to see the girls from the sect to then say.

“There won’t be any trial for two “days” and we can’t advance before that, so eat something for dinner, relax a bit and then go to sleep”, said Aster, which made the girls nod in unison.

“Mm~”, they were naturally tired after the previous, so a nice meal and some sleep were the best remedy for them.

With a wave of his hand, Aster took out a giant tent which had been modified by Eris to increase the space inside of it, it was similar to the portable house he had used, but now was too “small” because his group had grown quite a bit lately.

He had prepared another five of those tents, which are big enough to accommodate fifty people inside and in case you wonder why he didn’t take them out before, that’s because they wouldn’t have had the time to bath, eat and rest before the ghosts attacked, but now they had two free days, before they could continue advancing.

“There are full functioning bathrooms inside, as well as a small kitchen, and enough beds for each of you, so don’t worry about anything”, said Aster, to those girls who looked at him as if he was the messiah.

It hasn’t been that long since they left the sect, but after walking for hours and fighting the ghosts, it was normal that those young misses who are used to the commodities of the sect, felt the need to take a shower.

That being said, never did they imagine that they would have the chance, until they reached their destination, so Aster’s words were like a blessing from the heaven.

“Thanks, and goodnight senior brother~”, they said in unison as they started forming groups guided by the elders who were put in charge by Valentina, it didn’t take long before the large group was gone and only five big tents were left behind.

Everything under the bloodshot eyes of the members of Wade’s group, they of course brought tents with them, but they were normal ones, no one would normally care about such a thing as a bathroom when on a mission, in any case there are pills to make it so that cultivators don’t have to do their “necessities” for a certain period of time.

They still had some spare clothes in their spatial rings, so they could change in their tents, and that normally is enough, but as the old saying goes, comparisons are hateful, now that they heard about all the commodities that the other group will enjoy, they felt unhappy with their own situation.

Well, not all of them cursed their luck, there were a couple of groups which directly set up their tents and didn’t interact with others, since they were discussing between themselves, Fawn’s one being among them.

“Are we really going to let them be just like that, Cascade young master?”, asked the elder from the Bayer family, his anger didn’t subside yet and he was stopped by Wade earlier, though that was for his own good.

“We can’t do anything to him in this damn place anyway, so focus on what’s important, they have already obtained some benefits while we are in red numbers”, said a Genesis Manifestation cultivator from the Pleasure Palace.

“What’s more, we’ll have a harder time in the next trials, due to the composition of our group”, added an elder from the Marsh Domain.

Aster’s group had less than fifty Transcending realm cultivators, that’s only a fifth of their group, while they on the other hand had around seventy of them, which is around three fourth parts of the group.

Wade tapped his finger on the table that was set up for the meeting they were having, to then say.

“We’ll change our strategy, the trials seem to adapt in real time, just like how those ghosts charged at them in larger numbers when new participants joined, so we’ll split into two, a group that will participate on the body trial and a group for the energy one”.

“It might not directly lower the difficulty of the enemies we face, but it will reduce their numbers, of course if you can convince some members on your side to stay out and bring a certain number of disciples, we can further manipulate the trials, I’ll leave that to your discretion, come see me at my tent in six hours with an answer”, said Wade as he got up to leave.

All this while he clenched his fists while glaring at the side from the Myriad Occupation sect, ever since he started dealing with Aster, nothing has been going his way, when even if he was suppressed, he could still resist against Valentina before.

He could imagine Aster mocking him, from within that strange tent, which he still couldn’t believe existed, no one in their right mind would use space attributed materials for such a mundane reason, as they are quite expensive, normally they are used for permanent residences or spaceships, besides spatial rings of course.

What he didn’t know, is that let alone mocking him, Aster didn’t have him in his mind as of current, as he had more important matters to tend to, like fact that unlike the other tents, there were quite a few things “lacking” in his tent, for example there was only one giant bathroom and the bed was the same, it was a large mattress made out of connected smaller ones.

“Brother, we’ll stay with the others, so enjoy your nigh…”, Erick who thunderously laughed at the sight of Tiana’s flustered face, got punched on the face by his older sister, which resulted in him flying out of the tent, only for Sophia to sigh as she slightly bowed at Felicia before leaving to follow that idiot fiancée of hers, the other tents had divisions so they could stay at any of them.
