The Primordial Record

Chapter 1537 1537: Heirs Of Origin

Communication between Rowan’s dimensional flesh and his dimensional soul was instantaneous. In the moment between Circe gasping at his appearance, Rowan had already shown him the present state of the Origin Land, the city of Sheol, the states of his bloodlines, and his new power sources.

This was only the first level of communication; above that was the inspiration the soul had received about his Fate and the newly discovered open road to the seventh dimension.

Above this second level of communication were the plans for Elura and the Memory within Circe. This was the third level of communication, and above that was the…

Rowan could follow and handle the highly complex information in a manner that was easy to follow. In the blink of an eye, he had already arranged his tasks in priority order and separated them between the flesh and the soul.

A final run-over was made and accepted before Rowan went to work. Circe had barely even blinked, and the direction for the future for the next ten thousand years had been completed.

After making the decisions, he did not waste a moment in contemplation; he immediately went to work.

In that brief moment, the plans for the city of Sheol had been finalized, and the dimensional soul requesting permission from the flesh was granted the ability to enter the Origin Land, and so he vanished from the room and reappeared above the city of Sheol.

His Origin Land was so massive that Rowan was afraid that if he were not careful, it would be possible for an outside influence to infiltrate it. The possibility for such a thing to occur was slim, but as long as there was a possibility for any event to occur, it was wise to make sure there were precautions already in place.

It was for this reason that even his dimensional soul had to seek permission before he could enter into his Origin Land. If Rowan would scrutinize his soul before he could enter his body, then nothing else would be able to slip into it without passing through his eyes.

The soul took a moment to admire the city with his perception and then stretched forth his hand to open a massive gate that appeared at the boundary of Sheol. Any life form that could not see the overall vision of this city would call this place the edge of reality.

Sheol was a massive ‘city’, and for any life form to reach its center without the ability to travel many times faster than light, such a trip would take many millions of years. However, Rowan expected that with the talents of his children, the fastest among them should reach the center of Sheol in a hundred thousand years or less.

However, before any of that were to happen, they would have to pass through this gate.

To the dimensional soul, this was a gate, but for those that would be passing through this gate, it was a tunnel that stretched for nine hundred and ninety-nine thousand miles (999,000).

Inside the tunnel, the sky held a thousand stars, and on the earth, trees filled with fruits, massive beasts roamed, and rivers filled with life. Mortals could call it a small heaven, but the dimensional soul created a hint of danger in the air, and those who could not discern that danger would perish.

This tunnel, this gate, created by the dimensional soul, was patterned after the Purgatory Gate from the city of Sheol. Its purpose was to filter all the life that would be entering the city of Sheol in the great migration that Rowan was creating.

In the previous city of Sheol, the Purgatory Gate was initially meant to give the lost souls in Rowan’s dimension a chance to attain a closer relationship with him so that their Soul Origin could enter his domain.

It was not every living being who died in his dimension that gave Rowan their Soul Origin. Still, he had access to their souls when they died, and he encouraged them to go through the Purgatory Gate, where their nature would begin to slowly align with Rowan’s own.

After the souls went through the Purgatory Gate and were reincarnated, it was very possible that when they died, Rowan would receive their Soul Origin, ensuring that as long as he was alive, their Origin was safe with him, and none of his children would fall under the hold of the Primordials.

With his children’s soul origin, it did not matter if they perished outside of his dimension; he would always be able to perfectly resurrect them with all their memories.

Maeve had never died while she was with him, and her Soul Origin was not with Rowan, but the only thing that gave him a bit of solace was that he had the Soul Origins of quite a number of his people that she watched over for him.

However, it would be a tough decision to make when he decides to resurrect them because he did not have the Soul Origin of all of them, and so mothers would return without their children, and lovers without their loved ones. This was a decision for the future, and Rowan wanted to make sure he had an answer to their cries of loss before he made his move.

The worthy only answer he could give was the heads of their killers placed on a spike. It was the least that he could do.

This new Purgatory Gate was meant to transform the essence of all the souls in his grasp so that they could reach Origin, and in so doing, it would cause them to align with Rowan’s new nature closely. It could be said that any of his children who passed through this gate would cause their Soul Origin to automatically come under Rowan’s domain, because they were now of Origin, and their souls could never find rest anywhere but in his domain.

The foundations of Rowan’s power and his dimensional flesh had changed drastically from Primordial to Origin, and if any of his children wished to dwell in this new and powerful dimension without being rejected by the laws of his Land, they would have to pass through the Purgatory Gate and cleanse themselves of the previous Aether and Essence in their bodies, only then would the benefit of being Rowan’s children could be realized.
