Rowan believed that Thenos would have been able to easily steal his powers if he was still at the fourth dimensional level, but when Rowan became a fifth dimensional immortal and carve his own reality that was separated from the reality built by the Primordials, Thenos was no longer able to access his powers.
However, this event could have still gone sideways if Thenos had been able to completely devour the talents of Berrion and not simply swallowed his energy and some of his attributes, because if he had devoured Rowan’s Reflection in its entirety, then it would be a backdoor that he would have used to access Rowan’s dimension.
It was during moments of examinations like these that Rowan observed the many ways that he could have been defeated, a little slip-up here, a delay there, and the ending of his story would be radically different, and the same thing was happening now, even though everything seemed to be calm and orderly, a single spark could set everything alit.

Caine turned toward Shamaran and smiled, the form that he was wearing was something that Rowan assumed was his original humanoid form before he was corrupted by his lust for the powers of Primordial Chaos, or it could simply be a random body picked by Caine, it was a foolish thing to understand the mind of the first born of Primordial Chaos, you only needed to observe and learn his patterns, understanding him was a rapid road to madness.
He appeared like a middle aged man with a homely mug and short hair closely cropped to his head, the stubbles of a beard adorning his face gave him a roguish demeanor, his was a face that would be lost inside the crowd unless you looked at his eyes and then you would see the madness that lied therein.
Those twin orbs jiggled in their sockets as if a million separate thoughts were screaming for dominance inside his head. Only a mind that was broken like Caine could still hold together all the extremes of his thoughts and still speak with conviction and a sense of purpose. His voice was cool and collected, a vast difference from his crazy eyes,
"Do not be too hasty with your words, poison mistress, Rowan here has no clear allegiance with Primordial Chaos despite the fact that he was granted the blood of Chaos, apart from his blood, what else does he have to give? He does not owe that old man anything. To drag him into the losing side of an ongoing war is not an act of upliftment, but one of sabotage. Our father is in chains, his Era has ended long ago and it is our chance to rise above it, and I can assure you, Rowan knows that truth. He would not be returning with you. With his potential he could always get a better bargain elsewhere, and this is a truth that you would never tell him."
Shamaran smirked, not even glancing at Caine, "What truth does he know about Caine? Do you mean the lies that you have paraded around when you thought he was an ignorant child without any knowledge of reality? A lie that he can see and understand its implication the higher he walks upon the dimensional ladder? Tell me, whose cause is more bound to last?"She pointed towards the distance and Rowan frowned internally when he noticed she was pointing at the third dimensional universes, he was nearly at his destination and this whole conversation was to learn as much about the Children of Primordial Chaos as he could while distracting them from his real position. He knew that it was almost impossible for any of them to imagine that he was heading towards the lower dimension, and Rowan knew that he still needed to throw off their attention because he did not understand their entire abilities, and he could learn more from them here than they thought.
Of course he knew that both of them were still doing the same thing as he was, searching for information. They knew his body here was a projection, and they would obviously be scouring through reality for his real form.
Rowan understood that his position was a rather delicate one, and the reason these two monsters seemed to be quite agreeable at this time was because they were still intensely searching for his body, and the moment he was found, this facade of respect and mutual discussion would be thrown by the wayside. He also knew that their patience was also running out, but he did not care, he was not scared of them, how could he? He was already eating the flesh of the Primordial Beast, he had stood before Primordial Time himself, and by his hands, all of reality was changing.
No longer a pawn, Rowan was now graduating to become a player, and whether they liked it or not, Caine and Shamaran would become his pieces in this game, but for now, it was enough for them to simply view him as an upcoming threat.
Before that time, the advantage that he had here was to be as vague as possible in his words while leaning on the fact that these two would willingingly throw themselves under the bus to twist Rowan’s mind to their benefit, and he could not discount the fact that both of them might be speaking half-truths and falsehood to deceive him as well, because no matter how talented he was, in some certain matters, he was still just an ant against the might and experience of these two.
Caine replied coolly to the accusations of Shamaran, "I do not lie poison mistress, I only tell the truths that he is capable of understanding, and my words shall be vindicated in time. It would not take much to do so."
Shamaran opened her mouth and gave a lovely chuckle, her eyes flashing bright, her beauty mesmerizing,
"And yet, what worth are your truths? Rowan you should take heed, the powers of a Primordial is greater than anything you can imagine, it is greater than anything that Caine can imagine. He is insane in his quest to steal from Primordial Chaos, and that insanity was triggered by the enemies of our father, and the great betrayer went along with it. He is simply a pawn in the hands of others, and in his madness, he believes that he would overcome his plight as a pawn, he seeks to drag others down with him under his broken banner. A single hair of Primordial Chaos is greater than a thousand of him, chose wisely and don’t be dragged down by flashy words and empty promises. Remember his name, and know that his promises are nothing but poisoned daggers aimed at your back."
Caine was silent as the words from Shamaran, before he sighed, and for a moment there was almost a sense of loss in his voice, "Spoken like a person who has lost every reason to strive for themselves. When I was old you were still young. You may not know this because this history has been heavily suppressed by the Primordials that you worship like an ignorant beast, but I was alive when there were more powers that challenged the rules of the Primordials. They were the first betrayers, not me!"
"What is your point?" Shamaran countered, "I participated in that war that ended all the usurpers vying for the throne of the Primordials. Their names are gone, and their thrones are vanquished."
"You are not listening!" Caine suddenly screamed and turned towards Shamaran, his hands grasping repeatedly at the air in front of him as if he was kneading it like dough, and enclosed within his fists, Rowan could see the deaths of countless universes. In his agitated state, Caine was dragging dimensions into his palms and crushing them to pieces before bringing them back to life and crushing them again, but with each time he killed them and resurrected them, what returned was subtly different.
"I do not speak of the useless fools who were made to play the pawns to the rise of the Primordials, their bones were needed to craft the Supreme Era and so they were all butchered, what I am speaking of is before! At the time when Nothingness was all there was, when potential was everything, and power was not segmented into levels or dimensions or grade… Those were the times when to rise to the ranks of Primordial was not dependent on bloodlines or connection, but on the strength of your will and your capacity to fight for your vision. Primordial Chaos and every other Primordial in existence betrayed me! I was never given the chance to rise, the true paths were hidden and we were all made to walk the roads that they set before us."
As he spoke Caine grew increasingly agitated, seemingly forgetting the reason they were here as he turned towards Rowan,
"Shamaran does not understand you, but I do, it is because we are the same. There is no reason you will endure all of eternity being a lapdog of a Primordial, when you know inside your heart that there is a higher road. Your potential is great, and your path is strong, and there is nothing that she could give to you that is worth losing your road. Join me brother, let me show you a road that they are all afraid to consider, because they willingly blind themselves to it, because of fear. Are you afraid, Rowan?"
