The Primordial Record

Chapter 1359: My Sacrifice

Rowan understood that this might be his only opportunity to destroy the World Stele, if he allowed it to leave with all the knowledge it had gathered of his abilities then Rowan would become reality’s biggest threat, and the Primordials would leave their thrones, and hunt him down.

Although knowing this Singularity was not the path that it would follow, the World Stele seemed to have an appetite for solving problems with its power, and that meant the Singularity would return in the future, in a moment that Rowan would not be able to control, and it would crush him.

Rowan could feel the progress of his dimensional soul towards the hunting of Thenos, and he knew that in a short while the Singularity would figure out that two of Rowan’s greatest weapons were missing and the death cries of Thenos would drive the World Stele insane, and so before then, Rowan had to go all out.

His overall Aether and Essence fell, and because his energy stores now had a life of their own, he had to endure the cries of trillions of these newly born energy beings dying at every moment, their lives were short, and for the brief moment they were alive, they had given Rowan an unexpected feeling of happiness.

Rowan’s gaze was cold, and he only increased the power pouring into the Destroyer Title, and in the instant the World Stele was about to slip from his fingers, both of his palms exploded, and his body was blasted backward, bursting through the fifth disk into the sixth, and piercing through the sixth until he reached the seventh where the impact of his landing destroyed half of it.

Reality around the remnants of the fifth disk became warped, as the destructive forces unleashed by Rowan’s shattered hand eradicated reality to its very fundamental aspects.

Half of the World Stele was covered by this weird warped space that seemed to be absorbing everything, no it was not absorption, it was simply deleting everything from existence, and Rowan saw the range of this destruction would not cover the entirety of the World Stele and his eyes became red as a roar broke out from deep within Rowan’s consciousness,

"No, this is not what I want."

A loud booming sound reverberated through his consciousness and the Will of Truth reached the fifth-dimensional level, further strengthening his foundations. Rowan poured his Will, his belief, his everything into that warped space that held nothing but the pure essence of destruction, and he pulled.

"You were born from my flesh, and you shall obey me."

Even in his perception where time moved slowly, it became even more sluggish, and then, he held destruction. His eyes caught aflame, burning to ash, and his skin began to char, massive booming sounds were escaping from his body as if a great heart was beating in a crazed manner.

For a brief moment, the sensation that he felt was as if he was a mortal who jumped into a volcano and was slowly sinking into it from the feet upwards, knowing death was a brief moment away, and Rowan understood that this was only going to get worse. That volcano was rapidly transforming into the core of a star.

However, he was glad, because no matter the cost of holding this power, the key takeaway was that he was holding it. Now this was not the aura of destruction or the endless derivative of this power, no this was the real thing, a weapon used by Primordials because nothing else would do.

His eyes returned and the glow within them was frightening.

Even though he had been shoved to the last disk of Aerovah, Rowan was still standing on his feet, his balance could not be broken by something as paltry as force. Raising both hands upward as if he was lifting a heavy load, the warped space around the fifth disk that was widening as it erased everything around it suddenly contracted and it began to take a new shape.

The struggling World Stele had the two halves of its structures erased, and the other halves were focused on escaping, but it was a shame that reality around this entire fifth disc had been erased, and the concept of acceleration or even movement did not exist, and until reality recovered from this wound, the Singularity could not escape.

Rowan idly noted that both of his hands were gone from the wrist upwards, there was only a smoking stump left, and with his regenerative capacity, he should technically be able to heal faster than he could ever be damaged, but his hands remained in the same state.

There was a price for wielding destruction, and that price was his hands. From now till the unknown future, his hands would be gone.

Rowan grinned and then he began to laugh, it had been too long since he had felt this way, walked on the edge of death in a manner that his soulless analytical mind of before would never think of doing, and he knew that he would not reach the ultimate peak of reality if he was not willing to be extremely ruthless to himself.

"Boom!"

His Will of Elder reached the fifth dimension and his nature as a Primordial Beast seized his sacrifice and made of it, power!

The warped space of destruction that had been contracting suddenly took shape and it was two massive hands.

"I have the Will of Elder, and my nature is never to lose, only gain. My sacrifice is to myself."

Rowan flexed his Will and the hands of destruction above responded to his summons. They traveled through the null space in a manner that seemed slow, but when you put it together that they were moving in a place where the concept of motion did not even exist, only then could the true nature of their speed be revealed. ŗåΝοBΕṠ

The two hands seized both remnants of the World Stele and they brought it before Rowan.
