Klaus’s mom moved to Moomville, and since then, she hasn’t left. It was also the main reason why Ohema hadn’t come with the ladies on this training mission.
She was left behind to spend time with her and keep her company while Queen Lunara was away.
Of course, she wasn’t complaining simply because Ohema really enjoys spending time with Klaus’s mom.
She wants to know more about the brat, and since his mom is the sweetest, she doesn’t mind entertaining her.
At the moment, they are seated beneath a white tree the Moon Borns brought with them while having tea.
“Your hair needs a redo,” Klaus’s mom said, looking at the perfectly made hair of the beauty beside her.
“Mother, you literally fixed my hair two days ago. Maybe we should wait a week before changing it.” Ohema couldn’t help but laugh.
Sometimes, she envies her sister, who is away training. At least they wouldn’t get their hair done every single day.
“You can always look your best,” Klaus’s mom shamelessly said, knowing that getting her hair done wasn’t much of a hassle regardless of the strength of the being before her.
She is that adorable, and all Klaus’s women like her.
“My sisters should probably come soon. Otherwise, I will become your styling doll before I know it,” Ohema said, making Klaus’s mom laugh.
They keep talking while sipping their tea. Suddenly, a jet came to a stop atop the new palace built for the Queen of the Moon.
Of course, this made them the 9th Union on Earth. But they still called themselves Moon Borns. That is just by the way.
The moment the jet arrived, the ladies started appearing out. After a few seconds, they all walked out.
Klaus’s mom giggled when she saw this lineup. It was like getting delivered beauties, each boasting great hair for her to play with.
She became ecstatic.
“We have a surprise for you, Mother,” Queenie said, walking toward Klaus’s mom. After closing this gap, leaving only a meter between them, she stopped and smiled.
This made Klaus’s mom raise her brow, waiting for what they had for her.
“Surprise.” The ladies parted, making the little silver-haired girl and Klaus’s mom’s gazes meet. Klaus’s Mom looked at the small lady, and her raised brow rose further.
“Hello, Grandma, I am Pickle Berry, Big Brother Klaus’s daughter.”
The ladies face-palmed hearing Pickle Berry’s introduction. It was totally opposite to what they had planned.
On their way, the plan was to call her Grandma, but instead of saying Big Brother, she should instead say Daddy.
Of course, Pickle Berry nodded, but now, staring at the beauty who is the mother of her Big Brother, she couldn’t go through with the plan.
But then, before they could perhaps say something, Pickle Berry jumped into Klaus’s mom’s arms, buried her face in her chest, and started sobbing.
This one wasn’t one they expected. The sobbing part wasn’t one they expected.
If only they knew the day Kaden’s mother died, Pickle Berry saw everything. She saw how a single mother faced odds that she just couldn’t handle, yet in the end, she managed to isolate her son from the dangers.
Kaden’s tragic backstory is similar to Fruity’s. However, Kaden was 16, while Fruity was 7. Also, instead of being found by monks like Fruity was, Kaden was just sent away with the hope that he would survive.
When his mother used her life force to speed up the activation time of the teleportation scroll, its area of effect also increased.
Pickle Berry was pulled into the teleportation, and so she was pulled away with Kaden. This means she saw the sacrifice Kaden’s mom made.
And now, looking at the identical copy of such a brave yet selfless woman, she couldn’t help but get emotional.
It was also the main reason why she lost composure and made a mistake in introducing herself. The ladies watching this couldn’t help but sigh in their hearts.
Klaus’s mom, on the other hand, was doing her best to calm the lady who, before she knew it, was fast asleep in her arms.
They moved inside and laid her down.
“Who is this adorable little girl?” Klaus’s mom asked, using her fingers to comb Pickle Berry’s long silver hair.
“Klaus’s daughter,” Lily giggled, making her sisters smile.
“I don’t mind having a granddaughter.” Klaus’s mom, of course, was as shameless as ever. But this time, she was very serious saying that.
“She looks adorable.”
“She indeed is adorable, but she is just like Klaus. They all seem to be older than their age.” Queenie smiled, watching the adorable face now peacefully sleeping.
“I should probably prepare a nice meal for her. She looks skinny.”
The ladies left the room, leaving the little adorable snake child to sleep. However, the moment they left, she opened her eyes and stood up.
She sat down and entered her soul sea, where she appeared before Klaus, who was still comprehending the Supreme Sculpting technique.
She moved and hugged him from behind, making Klaus blink a few times.
“Mmm, Pickle Berry, weren’t you the same person that said she was going to spend time with the ladies?” Klaus said, but the small girl wasn’t letting go.
Klaus sighed and let her have her moment. A few minutes later, she spoke.
“Big brother, I saw her…”
“You saw who?” Klaus asked, turning to look at her small, cute face.
“I saw your mother.” She smiled, though she looked very emotional.
“So they took you to meet her, huh?” Klaus smiled, knowing the chances of this small girl coming back to the Badlands would be very slim.
“She looks the same. She is very beautiful and sweet. The last time, I just watched from the side, but watching and touching her now, I really am happy. I want to stay with her.”
“Hey, young lady, you have your own mother, okay? Stop trying to steal mine.” Klaus pulled her little ears, making her giggle.
“Too late, mister, she is already cooking. If I were you, I would hurry here. You wouldn’t want your mother to forget about you after getting to meet the adorable me.”
Pickle Berry smiled and vanished from her soul sea, making Klaus chuckle.
“Your funeral, not mine.” He went back to learning the technique.
