Zhu Que was startled, then glanced at Ji Mingyu.

Sure enough, she saw a fiery gleam flicker in his eyes.

Xi Yue!

I finally know your name! From now on, I will never let you escape my grasp.

Zhu Que composed herself, maintaining a smile as she spoke. “Mr. Changfeng, I’m sure you’ve noticed the way Xi Yue behaves around my master. Can you not sense the feelings between them? Or do you think my master is unworthy of Xi Yue?”

Qu Changfeng shook his head almost reflexively.

Though she didn’t know Ji Mingyu’s true identity, his overwhelming soul power and the strength to shake the Spirit Refining Domain were enough to make it clear—this man was no ordinary person.

Add to that his captivating looks, capable of enchanting all the beauties of the world, and his commanding presence that seemed to look down on all beneath him. If Xi Yue were a woman, surely only someone as powerful and extraordinary as [0] could be worthy of her.

But, what if… what if Ji Mingyu harbors ill intentions on Xi Yue?

As Qu Changfeng wrestled with his thoughts, Ji Mingyu, who had remained cold and silent until now, finally spoke. “Only I can protect her from the punishment inflicted on Xi Yue’s soul by Spirit Refining Domain.”

Qu Changfeng was stunned and immediately looked at Ji Mingyu in surprise.

He also remembered Xi Yue had a debt of more than 4,000 points. With her negative balance exceeding 1,000, each time she entered the Spirit Refining Domain, she would face the soul lightning strikes. Qu Changfeng had endured that pain before, and he had no desire to experience it again.

“Are you… sure you won’t harm Xi Yue? And… you won’t force her into anything, will you?”

Ji Mingyu sneered and slowly remarked, “You don’t have to say it, but even if I have to turn the entire Siam Continent upside down, I will find her.”

But at that time, no one could predict how far his anger would spread and what kind of destruction it would cause.

Qu Changfeng gasped, a chill running down his spine as cold sweat began to bead on his forehead. His back was already damp and clammy.

Ji Mingyu’s words were calm and simple, yet Qu Changfeng could hear the unmistakable threat lurking beneath them, one that was impossible to ignore.

There was only one path he could take—though in reality, he had no choice at all.

“Fine, I’ll tell you.” Qu Changfeng swallowed and said, “Xi Yue is near Heavenly Medical Valley in Qingyun Realm.”

As soon as the words left his lips, Ji Mingyu’s figure suddenly faded, vanishing from the spot.

Zhu Que flashed a seductive smile at Qu Changfeng, her figure gradually fading from view as well.

Qu Changfeng remained frozen in place, staring blankly for a long while before letting out a deep sigh. “Maybe it’s time I head to the Qingyun Realm,” he muttered to himself.

As soon as Xi Yue left Spirit Refining Domain and returned to the void, she gasped for air.

Her hands instinctively brushed over her lips, despite having already used her spiritual power to calm them. Yet, it felt as though the man’s fiery, intense presence still lingered, imprinted on her skin.

“Why is your face so red, Xi Yue?” Little Red Bird fluttered its wings and flew over, tilting its head to peer at her from one side to the other, curiosity evident in its voice.

“It’s nothing, really.”

“Hey, why do I feel like your lips are swollen too? Did something happen in the Spirit Refining Domain?” Little Red Bird stared at her with growing curiosity, its bright red eyes spinning with excitement. “Something big must have happened, right? If I’d known, I wouldn’t have stayed in the space to meditate. It would’ve been so much better to go with you and see for myself!”

Xi Yue glared at Little Red Bird in annoyance and disappeared from the Sumeru Void.
