Chapter 685: Beautiful Like Flowers

Lu Li’s heart wavered a little, but he did not lose his rationality. In his heart, there was nothing more powerful than money.
The most important factor was that Ruling Sword already had the Ritual of Summoning skill in their guild.
There wasn’t any point in having more than one copy the same guild. Drizzle Court was willing to pay more than 3000 gold for their first Ritual of Summoning, but they already had one, they might only be willing to pay 300 for it.
Since Sesame Rice Ball already had the skill, Lu Li wasn’t as excited when it dropped.
On the other hand, the value that it holds for Drizzle Court was monumental.
The Boss had only dropped three items, two of which were completely useless. The excitement of looting the skill book made everyone forget about the previous two pieces of trash that Water Fairy had picked up.
Zugra was both a Priest and a Warlock, so it wasn’t unusual for him to drop Warlock skill books.
The chances of this skill book dropping were extremely low, which explained why Lu Li had never heard about this before in his past life. Zugra was known for his terrible loot, which was why many major guilds would choose to ignore him.
After they divided the spoils of the battle, Lu Li reached into the corpse with his Supreme ring and casted Vampirism.
Zugra was a member of the Burning Legion and had received the Demon’s Baptism. Since he was a magic wielding Warlock, he fitted right in to their ranks.
Lu Li had put in so much effort to kill this Boss just to feed his blood to the Supreme ring.
There was a thick trail of bloody mist coming out from Zugra’s corpse. The Orc that sold his soul to the Demons had finally been defeated. Of course, he would spawn again next week, but Lu Li’s Supreme ring was very picky with its food and would only accept the blood of each individual Boss once.
After Lu Li was done, they left and headed towards Maraudon.
The monsters in Maraudon were only Lv38 and the final Boss was only Lv40. Based on the level of the monsters, It was supposed to be a popular dungeon.
However, Zul’farrak was a public dungeon, while Maraudon was a private dungeon. Public dungeons were opened to the entire world as long as you met the prerequisites. Private dungeons required a Private Dungeon pass in order to enter. These passes were extremely rare and would rarely drop from monsters or be awarded from quests.
For a Lv40 Dungeon like Maraudon, only monsters Lv45 or above would have a chance of dropping the pass.
Lu Li was the highest level in the game, but he was only Lv 42. There was no point of wasting his time grinding on Lv 45 monsters in the hopes of a pass dropping at a miniscule chance.
For this reason, Maraudon was basically a no man’s land. There might have been some lucky people that had the opportunity to enter, but they most likely wasted their three chances and never even saw the Princess.
"What does the Princess look like?" Hachi Chan asked curiously.
"She’s an Earth elemental Princess, so I think her skin is probably darker..." Deep Watersong said unsurely.
"Then, is she pretty?" Hachi Chan asked again. Little girls like her were always intrigued about what it was like to be a princess.
The majority of the players that would bother attempting Maraudon were curious about this question. The description of Princess Theradras in the wiki read that she was a beautiful and slim woman who was adored by the Earth Elementals.
"Of course she’s pretty – she’s the beloved daughter of Therazane the Stonemother," Deep Watersong said. He strongly believed that she was beautiful,
Therazane the Stonemother was one of the four Elemental Lords. Although she was very powerful, she was the most peaceful of all the Elemental Lords. She was patient, kind and loving to all creatures of the Earth, and enjoyed spending time with creatures that would make their homes upon her.
However, she was constantly under battle against the other Elemental Lords. Al’akir the Windlord eroded her surface with his wind, Neptulon would use his waves to thrash against her shores and Ragnaros was a blazing furnace that churned at her very core.
Therazane the Stonemother was the ruler of soil, dust, rocks and mountains. She was revered by every Earth Elemental and creatures that dwelled upon the earth. Druids of the Wild saw her as the embodiment of all that was peaceful and calm about the world.
When the world that would become known as Azeroth was formed, it was ruled by the Elemental Lords.
Therazane’s daughter had always be intrigued about the outside world. Many who had the privilege of meeting her would praise her for her beauty and knowledge. As soon as Zaetar saw her, he became infatuated by her beauty and swore to be with her no matter what the cost.
Even his father, Cenarius, could do nothing about his son’s infatuation.
However, based on their family background, they were a match made in heaven. It was impossible to find a more suitable couple in all the lands.
The story of Princess Theradras’ beauty spread across the four corners of the world. Even after her father was killed by the Centaurs, many would still talk sympathetically about the young Princess.
Deep Watersong liked to listen to stories told by travelers and poets in the inn.
Even Water Fairy and Cain’s Left Hand were deeply moved by the story and had the utmost respect for the Princess. They felt bad about planning to disrupt the peace that Theradras had.
The male players in the party were unsure whether they could bring themselves to be cruel enough to kill her later.
Only Lu Li knew about the truth and wanted to speak out, but never said it. He was taught not to use derogatory words to describe a lady because it was extremely rude, even though it may be true.
However, he hoped that these guys could handle what they were about to see.
"There’s monsters up ahead!" Cain’s Left Hand shouted. He was scouting up ahead and had seen the monsters approaching while everyone was having a conversation.
Everyone immediately became aware and quiet down; even Deep Watersong shut his mouth up.
This was the difference between professional players and casual players – being able to focus extremely quickly.
"Centaurs..." Water Fairy said in relaxed manner.
Centaurs were quite common in Barrenlands; most players had killed a few Centaurs during the War of the Centaurs.
"Don’t underestimate these Centaurs – they’re completely different from those in the Barrenlands," Lu Li reminded.
"I’ll go and test them out," Cain’s Left Hand volunteered. He darted off towards a small group of Centaurs to try and scout out their attacks and defensive abilities.
Lu Li sighed, but did not stop him.
