Chapter 626: Lu Li Insta-Killed

"Brother Three, hurry up and tell everyone to stop fighting and retreat back to shore!" Lu Li notified Square Root Three as he flew as quickly as he could.
He did not have the time to explain everything, but he was sure that Square Root Three would trust him. The reason for this entire plan was to bring honor and glory to Ruling Sword.
What would happen if the Mosh’ogg Ogre army stampeded over the players?
The answer to this question could be seen on the ground beneath Lu Li as he flew over the players fighting in Stranglethorn Valley. They had no idea that they would be ambushed by such a large army of Ogres and were instantly wiped out before they even had a chance to fight back.
However, they had misunderstood. The Ogres weren’t planning on ambushing these players – they were simply removing anyone that was in their way in order to avenge their fallen king.
The players barely held back the Ogres for half a minute.
"What’s happening?" Square Root Three asked as he commanded the Ruling Sword members to retreat.
"I can’t explain right now. Can you contact the other commanders over at Gorgrom base camp?" Lu Li asked.
"Yes, I can. I’m in a chatroom with them right now. Do you want to join?"
Square Root Three was curious as to what Lu Li was up to. Was he capable of shifting the tides of this fight completely around?
"No need. I’ll give you guys the signal to attack later. Make sure everyone attacks at full strength," Lu Li said.
"Full strength?" Square Root Three asked.
Although there were a lot of people in the area, the fight had progressed into a stalemate. The whole ordeal had taken more than half the day and most players had already grown sick of fighting. Despite this, neither side was willing to surrender.
"Yes, wait for my signal. Don’t hold back because there’s only one opportunity for us to pull this off," Lu Li said as he changed directions and flew away from Grom’gol base camp.
Although there was a large wave of Mosh’ogg Ogres, it wasn’t enough for Lu Li’s standards, so he decided to pull Roloch as well.
Roloch was another Mosh’Ogg Ogre area boss. He was stationed with a smaller army of Ogres in the Wild, constantly harassing the supply line between the Stonard and the Orc-Troll alliance.
Since he was covered with the scent of fresh blood of the young Ogre King, he instantly caught the attention of these yellow skinned Ogres.
General Roloch and his subordinates roared and stomped in anger.
The swooshing of a javelin being thrown could be heard as it headed towards Lu Li.
Luckily, in Crow form, his hit box was much smaller and the javelin narrowly missed him. Otherwise, it would be impossible for Lu Li to react this quickly to the projectile. However, it still frightened him and made him flinch in fear.
After some adjustments, he flew as quickly as he could towards Gorgrom camp without worrying about whether the Ogre army could keep up.
If he was to aggro a Boss normally, it would usually return to its spawn once their target was out of their aggro range. There were special ways to increase the aggro range with different Bosses and Lu Li conveniently knew about this.
Killing the young King was extremely embarrassing and a despicable way to draw their attention, but it needed to be done.
Assassinating the king or the prime minister was a plot straight out of a movie. This was similar to Lu Li situation, except he got away scot-free because Ogres couldn’t fly.
Ogres were a very interesting race. Like Orcs, they originated from Draenor and were a part of the Alliance in the battle for Azeroth during the second war. After the second war, the Ogres agreed that the Alliance was too weak, so they left.
When they grew tired of hunting and eating humans, they moved on to other races.
However, they picked the wrong enemies to make and began hunting for dragons. The powerful Ogre tribes succeeded at first; they hunted the smaller dragons and thrived. However, when the Azure Dragon King Malygos appeared, the Ogres realized how weak and small they really were. The Dragon army fought back, destroying the glory and power that the Ogres once had overnight.
The remaining Ogres were nothing compared to the Orcs now.
Lu Li could see Gorgrom base camp from afar and had to make sure that his teammates were safe.
"Are you guys in position? I have thousands of Ogres chasing me; make sure you don’t kill our own men by accident."
Although Lu Li said this, the Ogres would have killed many of the Alliance players on the way.
"Thousands of Ogres?" Square Root Three gasped and immediately ordered everyone to stand back.
Although they had heard the commotion from afar, they had only just found out the intention of these Ogres.
The morale of the Alliance players rose. The Ogres were here to help!
The Ogre army finally made their way towards the old and weak walls of Gorgrom base camp. These walls may have held back humans for a short while, but against an army of LV 50 Ogres, it stood no chance.
Commander Aggro’gosh’s expressions changed completely as he cursed the damn Ogres.
"He’s there! Kill him!" Far Seer Mok’thardin’s eyes met with Lu Li who was in Crow form as he soared over their camp.
Aggro’gosh threw away his axe and picked up a large bow.
Lu Li was terrified and flapped his wings as quickly as he could. He regretted not maxing out Crow form earlier when he had the opportunity to.
Aggro’gosh wasn’t a hunter, but his precision would have embarrassed any Hunters that witnessed this scene. Before Lu Li could see him draw his bow, the arrow had already pierced through his body.
The feeling was indescribable because Lu Li felt nothing – he was killed instantly.
"Go and save him!"
Square Root Three pulled himself together as he witnessed this right before his eyes. He knew that Lu Li would be dead instantly, but if someone went and revived him, he wouldn’t lose as much EXP.
A couple of Healers were escorted towards the sea.
In Dawn, the waters were always the most dangerous environment because your movement was slower and there were powerful sea monsters. Besides, whether they would be able to find Lu Li’s corpse or not was a completely different question.
"No need. Don’t come," Lu Li declined, not wanting others to risk their lives for him. Besides, he still had Darkmoon Card which he had been saving since he received it.
