THE DRAGON'S HAREM

Chapter 1100 - 1100: The Purple Wizard

The next day quickly arrived, and Arad cracked his wrist. He stood facing the gate to Hati’s training world; his eyes burned purple as he could sense something off already.

TAP! Merlin approached and stood beside him. She gently tapped his back with her hand, giving him a faint smile. “Ready?” She was wearing her old purple robe and wizard hat, letting her long white hair flow with the wind.

“Is ready the correct word? You’ve been weakening me for a while.” Arad smacked her on the back, causing her to stumble forward and use her wooden staff as a support.

“You’re asking too much of a weak, poor human woman to stand up against you.” She looked at him with a smile, “But I’ll at least make it worth your time.”

“Then let’s get in there.” Arad walked into the gate, and Merlin followed after him. Soon, the other wives, Sena, Selica, Roberta, Sara, Lala, Matilda, Selina, Lucia, everyone, even the abomination Gelena, sat with them, feeling out of place.

Kali took on the job of protecting everyone from Merlin and Arad’s fight, keeping them safe inside a protective array of her statue’s hands. They weren’t here just to watch, but a fight between a master of magic like Merlin and a beast like Arad wasn’t something that happened each day, and would be a rare learning opportunity.

Merlin walked away from Arad, and soon she started stepping on air instead of the ground, climbing a set of invisible stairs with a puff of magic beneath her soles.

Arad looked at her, noticing the swirling storm of mana raging around her body. To normal humans, that storm was invisible, but to his void eyes, it looked like a raging lightning storm.

Merlin doesn’t just use her own mana to cast magic. She also uses the natural mana around her as a catalyst to amplify her power. She turned around and looked at him with a smile on her face. “Shall we start?”

She gently touched her left palm with the head of her staff, creating a faint pink spark. When she lifted her staff, a two-inch-wide black sphere appeared between her fingers, spinning at an ungodly speed.

Fire started ripping around the black sphere, and the ground around Merlin ripped apart, burning into ash. [Doom Sphere]

She threw her hand forward, and the sphere flew at Arad, cutting a massive trench in the ground.

The sphere was made of many compressed spells, all merged into a single mass of destruction. That included fire ball, gravity control, and force magic.

Arad saw the sphere and decided to take it head-on. Even with how complicated the magic was, it still didn’t have enough raw power to threaten Arad. He threw his hand forward and caught the sphere in his right palm. His fingers tried to clench down on it, but the gravity and fire prevented them from closing all the way.

The ground around Arad melted from the heat and soon exploded as the sphere shattered with a loud boom.

Arad was still standing above the melted ground, looking up at Merlin with a smile. She knew that the sphere wouldn’t be able to hurt him, but she didn’t expect him to just crush it like this.

“So normal magic really doesn’t work on you.” She said with a passive face.

Everyone watching had one thought in mind. ‘The hell was that sphere? Is that what you consider normal magic?’

Merlin’s eyes flashed pink, and she lifted her staff above her head and started waving it. “ALALA! ALALA! MORIN TALALA!” Everyone could see the endless sparks of mana crackling around her like lightning, and suddenly the ground started shaking and cracking.

One thing was clear to everyone: if Merlin needed to chant for a spell…that spell is going to be a massive one.

The mountain behind Merlin, a large natural structure standing at over 10 km tall and 15 km wide started shaking, and soon was ripped from it’s base, levitating into the sky.

Everyone looked at the mountain with gaping mouths. Undine yelled, “Even if there isn’t an earth spirit queen here! That still doesn’t give you the right to violate the Earth like this. You wizard!”

[Merlin’s Move Mountains]

“Catch!” Merlin said as the mountain flew above her head, heading straight toward Arad.

“I thought spells were limited to the ninth tier?” Arad looked at the mountain falling on his head. The amount of mana needed to move such a massive structure far outclassed normal ninth-tier magic.

What Arad didn’t know is that even if the magic was limited by Yog to the ninth-tier, that only extended to spells cast by the casters. Merlin was skilled enough to figure a way around that, and her way was to use the natural mana in the air to supplement and expand her magic.

The closest example to what Merlin did was forest fires. As a random, non-magic user to cast a fire spell powerful enough to burn a hundred square kilometers of land. All he would need to do is throw a burning match into a forest and water hell come to earth.

Arad jumped up and burst through the mountain, digging his way to the peak in several seconds. As he emerged, the mountain had already fallen to the ground. “I would’ve gotten hurt if the mountain were magical, but it’s just a mountain, I can dig through that with ease.”

“Why isn’t Arad attacking?” Matilda asked. She was approached before by Hati and informed of Arad’s identity; she was also asked if she was willing to marry him as a way to link him to the beastlands, and she agreed. Selin also ended up learning of Arad’s true identity back then.

Selin, who was beside her, gave Arad one look and noticed several strands of Merlin’s magic already swirling about his head. “She…already has him under some spells.”

“True. Arad allowed Merlin to gain the advantage by charming him before the fight.” Aella answered their question. Merlin couldn’t fully control Arad, but she was more than skilled enough to make sure he didn’t lash at her like a wild beast.

Merlin lifted her staff and waved it. “How about this then?” The mountain beneath Arad started cracking, and it suddenly shattered into pieces. Those pieces flew at Arad and engulfed him in a massive sphere of stone and dirt that floated to the sky.

[Diamond Maker]

Arad was stuck at the center of the sphere, surrounded by an ungodly amount of heat and pressure enough to rip stones apart and crush coal into diamonds. His human body couldn’t endure such pressure and was about to collapse.

“Even if you can endure the pressure…you’ll suffocate since there is nothing to breath there,” Merlin said with a smile…but suddenly felt two hands caressing her butt. “I would rather suffocate beneath this.” Arad was already staring straight at her butt.

Merlin blinked twice, feeling his hands spread her cheeks apart. “You’re supposed to be inside that…” She pointed at the ball of stone floating in the sky.

“Ah…that’s my clone in there,” Arad replied with a passive voice, still inspecting her large rear end.

“When did you two switch?” Merlin looked back at him, and he finally looked at her, “When I was digging through the mountain. I let the clone come up while I took the chance to escape underground.”

“Can you stop playing with my butt?” She asked with a smile, and his grip on her cheek grew tighter, “Then remove the charm spell that prevents me from attacking you.”

“Not when you’re so close to me.” She pointed at the cleaved base of the mountain on the horizon. “Stand there with your clone, and I’ll remove the spell.”

Arad looked back, “You know what? Forget about it.” He stood and grabbed her in a hug, “You can’t escape me now anyway.”

^Damn it! My charm spell is now backfiring at me.^ She tried to struggle out of his arms but failed. At this rate, she’ll end up having her first time in the middle of the air, with everyone else watching.

^Got no choice. I’ll temporarily stop it.^ She tapped Arad with her hand, and the charm spell lost effect. Arad had already exposed her butt and her pink underwear, which had a slit in the middle.

“Nice ones.” Arad let her go as the spell lost its effect. Arad snuck one last look before she covered herself, “I’ve got many like them. Don’t worry, I’ll show the others how to pick underwear later.”

“Those panties cover nothing…” Aella sighed, and Lala looked at her, “I’ve checked Merlin’s collection…she has a whole cabinet of sexy underwear.”

The stone sphere in the air exploded, and Arad’s clone emerged in draconic form. Soon, it disappeared into thin air. “See? I dismissed the clone. Next time, keep an eye out for when I summon it.” Arad waved his hand and pulled the staff that Mira had made for him.

“Where do you even buy those? Tell me and I’ll pick some for them myself.” A spark of magic ignited above Arad’s staff.

“Sara can anonymously acquire them. Just give her a written description of what you want and she’ll find tailors to make the order without asking any questions.” Merlin looked at the spectators, and Sara’s face was already burning red as everyone looked at her.

“Where do you even start such a work?” Eris asked as she looked at her.

“Noble ladies pay a lot…and all I need to do is act as a messenger and deliver anonymously orders and sealed packages.” Sara’s underground black market seems to be thriving. But what was said next shocked everyone… “Those pairs…” Merida spoke, “I made them.”

Arad’s staff was finally illuminated with Magic, and the magic battle between raw talent and lifelong experience was about to shake Hati’s world.
