THE CEO AND ME!

Chapter 181 - IM READY TO WALK WITH YOU!

PRECAP

"I can't see you going through all that pain...all that ache and hurt...and you do not tell anyone, you just keep them within you which is so hard to bring you back to normal...I could not let you go through it again and so when your mind chose to forget everything, I did not bother telling u that back but now when you are headed to be with the woman who broke hell upon us...separated you from your mother, and what not...I can't...I could never come in terms with that, Kian!"

He only regretted being so bitter to her for just a woman...and now he was not even sure about that too.

"I do not have anything to gain by hurting you, nephew....you are the only one I have been left with....son!!! I have never seen you any less than the child that I miscarried!"

Valeria caressed his jaws and Kian kissed the back of her hands, trying to calm her down.

Meanwhile, in that pouring rain, Tinsley drove back to their countryside home. The mango tree underneath everything had started and was going to end probably.

Kian tried to call her and when he saw that her phone location was back on the Anderson Corp. Tower, he was beyond furious.

Kian threw his phone away, breaking it into pieces.

As the morning sun rose over the horizon, the chirping of birds and a few audible humans voices, made Tinsley wake up from her deep slumber.

She woke up to realize that she had fallen asleep inside the forlorn mansion right on the empty cold floor...the room that used to be her.

Gone was the princess bed, the never-ending cupboards, the queen-sized vanity, the maids waiting by to help her get ready for the morning.

She rubbed her eyes as she looked outside through the window. She saw a few people talking about themselves.

She wore her jacket back. It had dried off from the wetness of the rain. She climbed down the stairs and did not expect to come face to face the one every woman...Valeria Wilson.

Her steps got halted in the mid stairs and so did Valeria's eyes got stuck onto the woman...wife of his nephew.

The men behind her in the suite too stood ideal as they did not have any idea that there was a person inside the forlorn mansion.

"Gentlemen give us a moment!"

Valeria excused the men away and they all left leaving her and Tinsley in the middle of the very hall.

"Come down from the high pedestal you think you are standing from now!"

Valeria mocked. Tinsley obliged, climbing down the leftover stairs and standing in front of her.

"I told him about everything last night!"

Valeria confessed, meaning narrating out the entire history to Kian. Tinsley just stood unfazed as Valeria had thought her to be terrified for having to tell Kian everything.

"Yet I could not find one moment where I did something wrong spending the night here!"

Tinsley replied. All she had gathered from her stay in this house, the adjoined garden, the mango tree...happy memories, she would treasure all her life.

"It does not matter now!"

"It never mattered, Valeria! "

Tinsley said, stopping her midway. Something had changed within her and Valeria could see that.

"When your husband does not trust you, nothing matters anymore!"

Tinsley went on. She had realized so much in her stay alone at this deserted mansion.

"I did not learn to grow up. I have been the same girl he kissed underneath that mango tree when he grew up and changed. He fell in love, almost had a child with the supposed love of his life if you had not fucked it up...so much had happened, Valeria..."

Valeria listened to her silently as she spoke up for the very first time, being so bold as ever.

"Yet time had frozen for me, not for him, not for my father, neither for Josh...my mother had wasted away her life trying to be the perfect wife to a man who did not deserve her...but I m not going to walk on her footsteps..."

As the rain subsided that evening, yesterday, Tinsley noticed that sacred spot where her mother would watch down at the sunset, trying to complete the family painting...watching the sunset over the horizon, which she could never complete.

"I m going to go now and if your nephew steps over me this time, I m going to abide by the promise I gave you to get before you abducted me...to disappear from his life!"

Valeria could not believe the words that were coming out from Tinsley's mouth. She very well remembered the day when she had trapped Tin with the false promise of leading her out of the country.

"Sadly, if that day, you would have kept your part of the bargain, helping me out in leaving everything behind...I would not have ended being the mother of two unborn dead babies, bleeding to death inside of me..."

Valeria gasped at the knowledge of the miss carry that her nephew's wife had gone through.

"If I could not save the flesh growing inside of me...could not hold them tight from leaving me...how do I expect to hold a man who had only been in love with me about ten years ago...or maybe not?"

Tinsley questioned herself and her face was enveloped with a sad cruel smile. Valeria remained mum the entirety of their monotonous conversation.

"...or maybe it had been in my head all this time!"

She concluded and walked past Valeria to leave her with the men and carry on with her selling and buying of the countryside estate.

She got inside her Audi, not before giving one last glance to the mango tree, still blooming from the fresh rain.

She drove back to the city and to her house and see if she could save her marriage that was a shame from the very beginning.

When she had entered the house, it was in peace. She crossed the living room and climbed upstairs into her room.

And nothing there was in peace. Everything was broken, shattered into pieces, the sheets had been burned and the ashes were resting on the bed.

"Oh cool! Look my wife is back..."

Kian exclaimed, standing up and walking towards her, a glass of whisky on his hand.

He peeked his grey dilated eyes into her evergreen ones from the rain. His breath reeked of alcohol.

"...after whoring the night!"

He dropped the glass from his hand and it shattered into pieces, right on her feet. A lone tear spurted out from her eyes but she did not cry out.

Kian went back to the bar to pour himself another glass and Tinsley rubbed her eyes away.

"Don't you think you had enough to drink?"

She tried to evade her husband from drinking till his neck. He glared at her and she stood on her ground.

"What should I do than knowing my wife...my fucking pretty wife had so many skeletons in her closet and when they are out...I m scared...I have no words!"

Tinsley kept quiet, listening to him. She remembered Valeria's confession from the morning how she told that she had told Kian the truth.

"The scariest of all them would be watching our two babies bleeding out from her body!"

Tinsley remarked and it hit Kian right at the angry tip of his nose and he threw the glass that was on his hand again, shutting her up.

"Don't you start with your bullshit again!!! Have you even told me the part where you lied to your bastard father that I had forced kiss you...he separated me from my mother and she died out of heartbreak...have you ever bothered to narrate this part of our childhood ever??"

Kian spat, sat down on the floor, closing his eyes, mourning over the flashback of his mother, running after him...the small boy being dragged away by a bastard and thrashed inside the taxi.

Tinsley had come to know how much of the truth he had come to know. But she had lost the light in her to keep fighting for them against him...she was going to surrender pretty soon...not yet...just not yet.

"Did you ever tell me the part where you almost fathered a child with your ex?"

It was at that moment, Kian had realized that she had followed him to his aunt's house and heard everything.

"I guess we are both equal then doing our best to let the past remain in the past...but if you are ready to stand up and walk forward to the future..."

Tinsley walked forward and extended her hand to him for him to hold back and stand up.

"...I m ready to walk with you!"
