Chapter 1060: A Prank Designed by the Developers

The beating stopped in less than a minute after it started. Like nothingness itself, the place was once again devoid of both sound and light.

“Miluya~! Luya~ Luya~!” the little girl chanted, creating another large firefly to brighten the place up.

“Oh my…”

Jiang Fei gasped at the first sight of light. Bodies were lying everywhere. Strangely enough, that was not the worst part. Although the sight of ripped, mangled body parts were not a sight to behold, the monsters’ original appearance was far worse to look at. Their skin was ashen and had some kind of fungus growing on it. One would never want to touch that even if given a fortune. Their faces, or basically their external organs, were positioned extremely oddly. Their eyes were grown super asymmetrically. Their noses and mouths were basically attached together. Their lower jaws were so abnormally huge that they extended out further than their upper jaws, which were decorated with sharp, irregularly shaped fangs.

“Don’t look…” said Jiang Fei as he tried to cover her eyes.

“Mm.”

The girl nodded in agreement and quickly cowered behind Jiang Fei’s armor skirt.

“Where is Lucifer?” Jiang Fei ask.

“He’s gone!”

Unbeknownst to the girl, both Lucifer and Micheal were inside her the entire time. They only appeared when Miluya was in mortal danger. Once the threat had been neutralized, they returned to where they resided.

Since the monsters were all killed by Lucifer, they did not drop anything for Jiang Fei. Jiang Fei only glanced at the dead bodies and made his way around them.

Petrified Cave Dweller (Humanoid, Overlord)

Level: 95

Health Points: 0

Note: Lifeless Corpse.

Jiang Fei was unable to obtain more information on these monsters since they were already dead. However, he did manage to learn their ranks. Knowing that they were merely Overlords, nothing else could threaten him there.

After 20 minutes of walking, a bright light flickered at the end of the huge tunnel.

“There’s the exit!” Jiang Fei cried happily.

“Finally! Hurray!”

“Let’s run!” said Jiang Fei. Before he could even start, the little girl, who was always hiding behind Jiang Fei, sprinted faster than he could.

“What the hell? We’re not out yet!” Jiang Fei gasped. The flickering light at the end of the “tunnel” was not the exit. They had only just entered a larger cave. Calling it a cave was an understatement. It was huge! It was as if someone had spent their entire lifetime to dig out all the soil and earth that was inside the mountain!

The place was extremely bright as it was illuminated by streaks of lanterns that hung off the sides of the entire “cave”. Countless Cave Dwellers roamed the entire place. Some were working while the others were lashing whips at them.

Minotaurs (Humanoid, High Overlord)

Level: 99

Health Points: 300,000,000

Attack Power: 60,000

Note: Servant of Kain.

“Heh. There must be a Primordial here,” said Jiang Fei with confidence. If a Level 99 Overlord still served as a servant for someone, that someone must be a Primordial Celestial!

“Big brother… What are we going to do?” said the little girl when she ran back to him and hid behind him again.

“Well, the only thing we can do. Brute force our way through,” said Jiang Fei as he gritted his teeth. He knew just how strong a Primordial boss was but from the looks of it, there was literally nothing else he could do.

“They’re scary… I’m scared…” cried the little girl. She had started to cry just from seeing those mighty Minotaur beasts.

“Let brother take care of them for you!”

Jiang Fei got into his battle stance and sent out his sword. It was time for a massacre. All NPCs besides the little girl had a red name. It went without saying that killing them was the right thing to do.

“Spread out, Soulcutter!” Jiang Fei roared, sending his sword into the air before it split into 128 swords.

“Who goes there!? Guards! Seize him! Bring his head to me!” a loud voice roared, the vibrations reverberating through the cave which made the lanterns tremble.

All the working Cave Dwellers dropped whatever they were carrying and rushed toward Jiang Fei, ready to attack. The Minotaur whipped his whip harder and steered the Cave Dwellers toward Jiang Fei.

Sword Form: Sword Burst!

All 128 swords zoomed around in the air like large over-sized needles, piercing through any enemy. All it took was a single pierce to kill each one. Even the Minotaur, which appeared to be their leader, perished in just one hit. It was only as expected. Jiang Fei’s basic attack power was over three million. Soulcutter’s special effect allowed it to ignore all defense of armors that were Holy tier and weaker. Jiang Fei was practically attacking unarmored enemies. If that was not good enough, Jiang Fei’s Celestial tier effect granted him over a hundred times attack bonus on all non-Celestial tier targets.

It only took several seconds for the swords in the air to go around and kill every single living enemy then.

“Curses! Who is killing all my slaves!?” The same voice that sent the entire cave trembling roared again.

“Miluya, that’s the big boss. I can’t do this by myself. I need your help!” said Jiang Fei as he knelt in front of Miluya. He had only dared to face the Primordial Celestial because of Miluya. To be more specific, because of the two god like entities, Lucifer and Michael. Without them, Jiang Fei would have never walked so boldly into the cave without even knowing who he was going to fight.

“But I’m scared…” said Miluya as she gripped the corner of her cotton shirt. The little girl was behaving exactly like a real toddler.

“It’s alright. It’s alright to be scared. You just need to find a way to conquer that fear. How else are you going to grow?” said Jiang Fei as he hugged the trembling little girl. At that moment, the wall at the far end of the cave burst open. A large, overly-muscular Minotaur came out from the cloud of dust.

“What the f*ck… Why is Mister Universe a Minotaur?” Jiang Fei cracked a joke. The Minotaur looked about the same as the other Minotaur. The only thing different was his bulky muscles. This Minotaur had muscles bigger than the actor who played the good Terminator.

Kain Hoove (Primordial Celestial, Intermediate Celestial)

Level: 112

Health Points: 5,500,000,000

Attack Power: 11,000,000

Skills: Unknown

Note: The first Bison to become a Primordial Celestial.

Note: A prank designed by one of the developers.

“A p-prank? What does that mean?” Jiang Fei frowned as he read the description of the boss.

“Intruders! I shall kill– Wait a minute…”

The boss charged toward him with killing intent, but suddenly, he stopped and froze in front of Jiang Fei. His huge eyes scanned Jiang Fei over and over again. He did not even finish his sentence.

“Miluya… I trust you to help me out here…” said Jiang Fei as he got into a battle stance. Jiang Fei was no match for a Primordial Celestial. All he could hope for was to delay the fight long enough to let the little girl summon the two angels.
