System's POV
Chapter 1105 - 1105: Reincarnated With The Strongest System [Part 1]“Just who are you, and what is your goal?” Thirteen asked. “What do you know about the Celestial Realm?”
Stella didn’t answer right away. From what she knew, not a lot of those who had gone to the Celestial Realm could still talk about it and remain scot-free from cause and effect.
In truth, she had never even been to that place. Her knowledge about it had come from her father and her gluttonous little sisters, Maple and Cinnamon.
After carefully organizing her thoughts, she finally spoke her mind.
“I will answer this question if you promise to answer mine,” Stella replied. “Just like you, I want to know why you know about the Celestial Realm. This exchange will only be fair if you agree to that condition.”
Zia frowned. There was no way she could tell Stella that she used to be a “System” before she was sent to Pangea by her father, the System God.
“There are things I cannot tell you,” Zia replied. “Because even if I say it, you won’t believe it.”
“The same goes for me,” Stella stated. “The things I will tell you are not something anyone will believe so easily.”
Zia wanted to say that she had seen and experienced many absurd things in the past during her time as a system.
But she held back for now and tried to meet a compromise with Stella. She thought about many things, but she realized that it all boiled down to her sharing her biggest secret—that she was once a system.
Right now, he hadn’t known Stella long enough for him to say that he trusted her.
His only connection to her was the fact that she was the older sister of Maple and Cinnamon, who got along with him really well.
“Well, are you ready to talk?” Stella asked after a few minutes of silence had passed.
“No, I’m not,” Thirteen replied. “Sorry, but I don’t trust you enough to share my secrets.”
If other people were to know what she really was, it might change their impression of her.
Stella looked conflicted, as this was indeed the first private conversation she had with Zion.
And yet, before it could even start, the secrets that Zion was keeping prevented him from divulging any information about himself.
“Very well. How about I tell you a bit about my background so I can gain your trust?” Stella proposed.
She didn’t want to burn bridges with Zion, so she decided to compromise a bit. Also, she believed that by sharing her own information, he would learn to trust her… even just a little.
“Are you sure about that?” Thirteen asked. “Even if you tell me more things about yourself, that doesn’t mean I will be sharing my secrets with you.”
“That’s fine,” Stella answered with confidence. “Just think of it as getting freebies from me.”
The young lady then sat and asked Zia to do the same.
When they were seated comfortably, Stella told a bit of her family background.
“My father came from a world called Earth,” Stella said. “When he died, he was sent to the temple of the ten thousand gods and was sponsored by four Gods.”
“Four?” Zia blinked. “How can that be? You can only get one Patron, and that is the rule of the Temple. Are you lying to me?”
“Please listen till the end,” Stella said in a serious tone. “I’m getting to that now.”
Zia nodded and made a gesture for Stella to continue her story.
“Originally, my father chose the Harem God as his Patron God,” Stella stated. “Also, can you stop giving me that judgmental look? I’m just telling you what happened.”
“Oh, sorry,” Thirteen replied. “I know someone who chose the Harem God as their Patron, and he died before he even reached the age of thirty.”
Thirteen always wondered why the single guys, whose soul was taken to the Temple of the Ten Thousand Gods, liked to choose the Harem God as their Patron God.
“Unfortunately, when it was my Father’s turn to sign the contract, the contract actually ran out,” Stella smirked. “And because of that, Issei—well, the Harem God, didn’t become his sponsor… at least not directly.”
“Since you know the God of Harem’s name, it means that your father has really entered the temple,” Thirteen commented. “Please continue.”
“The Goddess Lily also asked my father to become his follower, but he declined.”
“Jail is just another room, so I can understand.”
Stella giggled. After all, Lily was also known as the Loli Goddess, and she certainly had many followers.
“After all that, he chose to become the follower of the God of All Trades, Gavin,” Stella added. “But Issei and Lily seemed to like my father, so they gave him their blessings, which came in the form of a Chess Piece and a Lollipop.
“Then, when he was taken to the cycle of reincarnation to choose a world to reincarnate to, the God of Shepherds, David, arrived and gave him a wooden staff.”
When the wooden staff was mentioned, Thirteen remembered the wooden staff that appeared before him.
After pondering for a while, it did resemble the staff that shepherds use when they herded their sheep.
‘It can’t be the same staff,’ Thirteen thought. ‘After all, her father was using that staff.’ ReadaheadandgetupdatesatM*V*L*E*M*P*Y*R.
Unaware of what Thirteen was thinking, Stella continued her story.
“But when my father was about to enter the portal of the world he chose, Truck Kun suddenly appeared and hit him. This sent him flying to a different portal, leading to a world that was about to meet its destruction.”
Stella continued her tale and told stories about her father. However, when she mentioned that her father, William Von Ainsworth, also gained the favor of the Monkey King, Thirteen’s eyes widened in shock.
“Are you sure that Sun Wukong allowed him to use Ruyi Jingu Bang?” Thirteen asked in disbelief.
“Yes,” Stella replied. “When he was still weak and helpless, it was the power of the Monkey King that allowed him to fight those who were stronger than him.”
The young lady then talked about a few more things and only stopped after she believed that she had already shared enough information about her father.
Thirteen wanted to know more, but he also understood that Stella had already shown him her sincerity.
“You said that your father has a System, right?” Thirteen asked. “What is their code number?”
“Code number?” Stella blinked. “My father’s system doesn’t have a code number. But, he gave it a name.”
“A name? Then, what’s its name?”
“Optimus.”
After hearing her reply, Thirteen’s expression turned serious.
There was only one System that went by the name of Optimus, and it was the First System, which all of them recognized as the Strongest System.
