Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 1990 - 1990: I believe you can stop this, Master Tenzin.

“When is this going to happen?”

“In 2 hours.”

“…huh?”

Tenzin couldn’t understand.

“Someone is going to capture you and read your memories in just 2 hours, and you are telling this to me now?”

“I didn’t know it was going to happen before this.”

“…what?”

Tenzin’s frown deepened even further. This entire conversation was getting over his head.

With Vashti’s current powers, she should be able to sense something like this years ago. She predicted Tenebris and Orynthar’s arrival a decade before it happened.

Then how is…

“These events started unfolding a few minutes ago,” Vashti answered.

“That shouldn’t be possible. No event unfolds 2 hours before it actually happens. Everything is already set in stone. It depends on our ability as to how efficiently we can predict it.”

This was an absolute truth.

Vashti knew this as well.

Even when the Tenebris and Orynthar came to them, it didn’t just happen because one day, the Orynthar Progenitors became interested in the Power of Time and heard the rumour regarding the Temple of Time.

It was set in stone from the very beginning. The Orynthar Progenitors were meant to be interested in the Power of Time because of certain events in their lives. They were meant to hear about the Temple of Time. They were meant to go to Tenebris. The two worlds were meant to go to the Supreme World of Eternity, and so on…

Of course, Vashti didn’t know it all from the start. She only learned about all this when these events happened and the two worlds were about to make a deal with the Supreme World of Eternity.

However, the instant Vashti learned about this event, it was very much possible to trace back those events in the past with much more certainty.

The current set of events should be the same as well. Vashti wouldn’t be abducted just because someone thought about it 2 hours ago.

A set of events must have happened that led to this. Events Vashti should be able to trace back…

But…

“This is… different,” Vashti spoke up.

“I tried tracing back, but…

I didn’t see anything.”

“What…?”

“Currently, Lord Dainar from Tenebris is telling someone about the Temple of Time. I suspect whoever that being is, he is the one coming for me.”

“Then see who this being is.”

“I cannot.”

“Why?”

“Lord Dainar is using a Call Artifact to converse, and I cannot connect any time strings to the other side of the call.

It is as if whatever Lord Dainar is doing is all an act, which I would have believed if I hadn’t verified the matter of his conversation.”

“What is it?” Tenzin questioned.

“Whoever this being is, he has abducted Lord Dainar’s subordinates, which is indeed true. When I looked into the abducted subordinates, I found them hovering in outer space. Their state was similar to mine.”

“So whoever this being is, he is threatening Dainar using his subordinates?”

“Lord Dainar proposed a deal that was accepted. Lord Dainar was promised a favour in exchange for the information regarding the Temple of Time.”

Vashti answered, and Tenzin turned silent.

This was… odd.

To think someone like Dainar would agree to make a deal with someone just because of his subordinates… this wasn’t the kind of man he was.

Something didn’t add up here.

For now, however, Tenzin didn’t have the time to think about Dainar. If Vashti had seen it, it meant that whoever that being was, he was coming.

But…

“This being seems to be interested in the Tower of Time. He must have read your memories because he wishes to know more about the Tower.”

“That could be the case.”

Vashti nodded.

“Have you tried changing your course of action?” Tenzin questioned.

“I have. Nothing I do changes the future events, except…”

“Except?”

“Except when I enter the Temple of Time.”

“Well…”

Tenzin shook his head. Vashti nodded as well.

That was normal. The Temple of Time protects the Trial Takers from any outside influence, no matter how strong. Let alone whoever this being was—even the Supreme Worlds wouldn’t be able to harm Vashti if she was inside the Temple.

The problem, however, was that…

“In that possibility, the instant I come out of the Tower, I am captured. So unless I stay inside the Tower for the rest of my life…”

Tenzin shook his head.

One couldn’t stay inside the Temple of Time for too long. They would simply lose their mind. Even he, with all the knowledge and power he had, couldn’t stay inside for more than five hundred years.

“So it is not under your control, huh…”

Tenzin sighed.

“This is why I came to you.”

“Has being around me altered the future?” Tenzin questioned.

“It has not.”

Vashti answered, making Tenzin frown. Vashti, however, wasn’t done yet.

“But I believe you can stop this, Master Tenzin.”

“How?”

“Whoever this being is, he is targeting Transcendents of weaker-level beings. He wanted information—information that Lord Dainar had. He has the ability to read minds, yet he didn’t read Lord Dainar’s mind and made a deal instead.

There is a possibility that he is avoiding direct confrontation with Eternal Level Beings.”

“Then why hasn’t being around me altered your future?”

“That being has power over space. To him, it shouldn’t matter where I am since he could move me wherever he wishes to. But if we somehow seal the Space energy…”

Vashti didn’t have to complete her words.

Tenzin closed his eyes and raised his hand. In an instant, his surroundings changed. His simple room twisted—walls stretched and contracted as if breathing. The wooden table aged centuries in a blink, then reversed, returning to its freshly carved state. Dust hung midair, frozen, while a phantom clock appeared in the sky as its hands spun wildly, unable to settle on a moment.

Yes, it was his Domain.

However, as a Domain of an Eternal, it didn’t just give him power over time—it made him Absolute.

“Space.”

He muttered, and in an instant, the very concept of space vanished within his domain.

Once again, he turned towards his disciple.

Vashti stayed silent for a moment, and then, she nodded.

“It worked.”

Yes, the woman was now safe.
