SUPREME HAREM GOD SYSTEM
Chapter 1930 - 1930: Are you sure you want to do this?“Lord Azriel, you are already the strongest being in the Universe. You are already as strong as one, in this Universe, can be.
You have already reached the Zenith.
There is no way for you to become even stronger.”
The Seer spoke up, setting the restriction.
Azriel stared at the woman in front of him and,
“The Universe makes it impossible for me to get stronger…?”
“That is correct.”
The Seer nodded.
“The restrictions it has set are absolute.
A Universe, even since its birth, is always at the threat of being devoured by its own children. Its very instincts tell it to avoid it.
And to do that, our Universe came up with a simple method.
It restricted the strength a single being could have.
Yes, you are the strongest in the Universe, but even you aren’t absolute. There are beings in the Universe that even you would have a hard time defeating, and if they work together, they can even defeat you instead.
For a being to get Absolute Power, one needs to devour the very Universe they were born in.
So how does the Universe protect itself from this threat?
It uses you.
It uses the very beings that are strong enough to threaten it and puts them against each other.
Those beings I mentioned before, the Infinites of the Supreme Worlds,
They keep each other in check, making sure not a single one of them gains too much power.
If they found out about your existence, they would keep you in check as well.
And whether you want it or not, you will keep them in check and protect the Universe from them as well.
The Universe made us that way.
Selfish, manipulative, deceitful, corrupt, cruel, and… greedy for more power.
And the only way it left for us to get the power we want so much is for us to come together, choose one being who would be given the chance to devour the Universe’s Will, and trust that being will not get rid of us all after getting everything he ever wanted.”
The Seer’s smile widened and,
“Yes, the only way to get the power we want is to go against our very core of being and trust that others would do the same.
This is how it has survived for trillions of years.”
“…”
Azriel turned silent.
The Seer then looked into Azriel’s eyes,
“What you are thinking wouldn’t work, Lord Azriel.
Even if you are reborn with all the memories you have, even if you have no restrictions that you currently face,
You will not become stronger than what you currently are. The Universe made us that way.”
Once again, the Seer repeated herself, telling Azriel how truly foolish his plan was.
But then,
“What about him?”
Azriel questioned.
The Seer paused.
Without Azriel having to say it, she knew what, or more specifically whom, he was asking about. And the way he was looking at her, the Seer knew he wouldn’t let this go unless she answered his question.
“He is different.”
She answered.
“The Universe’s restrictions don’t apply to him.
In theory, Nux can grow as strong as he wants,
Even stronger than the Universe.”
“In theory?”
Azriel raised his eyebrows at those words, and the Seer smiled,
“Of course, it is all just a theory for this timeline.”
“Does this mean he has achieved that in other timelines?”
“Who knows?”
The Seer just smiled, not answering Azriel’s question.
“What does that mean?”
The Vampire obviously didn’t like that answer.
“I cannot say anything that would make too big of an impact, Lord Azriel. I have no will to calculate more possibilities than I already have.”
Then, her tone changed a little.
“…and I can’t possibly afford a mistake at a time like this.”
A beautiful smile then appeared on the Seer’s face and,
“To live the beautiful future I saw,
I have to be selfish,
So forgive me if I cannot answer your questions.”
She spoke with a look that showed that she was willing to defy even the strongest being in the Universe but…
She hadn’t thought it through.
“Are you sure you want to do this?”
Azriel narrowed his eyes.
Yes, it was a threat.
The Vampire Progenitor was that desperate.
And…
The Seer knew it.
So…
“I have already said what I wanted, so if you don’t mind, I’ll be ending this conversation, Lord Azriel.”
“That is not up to you.”
Azriel spoke.
This time, the weight behind his voice was much heavier than before.
He had been holding back all this while but…
This was an answer he needed to make a decision.
He could not let this go, he could not let her go.
Therefore, he decided to move.
His crimson eyes shined and suddenly,
The once calm blue sky deformed, morphing into a deep, almost menacing crimson. A giant reddish-white moon loomed above, its overwhelming presence pressing down on the world like the judgment of an indifferent god.
The mountains crumbled into nothingness, trees rotted and decayed in an instant, and the vast and endless oceans disappeared.
The very foundations of the world were erased.
Even the ground the two stood on was no longer there. Instead, it was turned into a bottomless ocean of blood.
This was no longer Yrniel.
It was Azriel’s World.
A reality where he was Absolute.
With a single thought, the very concept of Time was erased.
Not slowed, not disrupted, not frozen.
Erased.
It simply was no more.
The concept of past, present, and future—gone.
The flow of cause and effect collapsed.
The very concept the Seer’s power depended on disappeared.
She was powerless, just like that.
And all this change happened in an instant.
Even Nux, with his impossibly fast thought process and reaction speed, would have been too slow.
Even his Complete Law of Absolute Space was useless here. After all, if Azriel willed it, even the concept of Space could be erased.
This was what it meant to be Absolute.
This was what it meant to be… Azriel.
And…
This was also the reason the Seer was avoiding him in the first place.
Azriel was dangerous, especially when he was provoked.
The Vampire had seen and somewhat understood how her powers worked through Nux’s memories. He knew how she manipulated time to her advantage.
Therefore, he erased time itself.
A simple solution.
Yes, there was no escape. Even someone like the Seer couldn’t escape if Azriel didn’t want her to.
However…
“Once again, I apologize for leaving like this.”
The Seer bowed her head as she continued speaking, as if she hadn’t even noticed what was happening around her.
“I hope Lord Azriel takes my words seriously and forgives me for disrespecting him like this.”
Then suddenly,
Her body started dematerializing.
‘What…?’
Azriel frowned.
This was…
Impossible.
Very quickly, he erased the concept of Dematerialization, and the Seer’s body froze where it was.
This, however, didn’t ease Azriel’s expression. He walked towards the woman in front of him and narrowed his eyes.
After some of her body had disintegrated, he finally saw it.
A strange crystal inside her body.
Azriel’s hand pierced through the Seer’s body. No blood came out. However, seeing how Azriel didn’t react to it, it seemed like he already expected it.
The Vampire Progenitor then brought out the white crystal. The crystal was flickering out of existence.
Then, as Azriel willed it, the crystal returned to how it was a few seconds ago. Its existence became comparatively stable.
Azriel, however, could tell that this crystal wouldn’t last more than the seconds he had bought it.
The Vampire narrowed his eyes at that.
Then, he returned the crystal to the state it was in 3 minutes and 27 seconds ago, the time the Seer had appeared in front of him for the first time.
Then, he reformed the concept of Time in this space and allowed the crystal to do whatever it was supposed to do.
And then it happened.
Another ‘Seer’ formed in front of Azriel. Then, she started speaking.
“Lord Azriel, we finally meet.”
“Lord Azriel?”
“You aren’t very different from your son-in-law when it comes to dealing with unknowns, huh?”
“Weren’t you the one who wanted to meet me the most?”
“You didn’t.
But you hoped I did.”
“You even tried to find me, more than once.
First, it was only for the sake of your daughter, but when you met the Chaos Progenitor and you realized you could bring your wives back to life, you wanted to meet me more than ever.”
Exactly the same words and actions…
‘A recording…’
Azriel finally realized it.
All this while, he was talking to a recording…
This was also the reason why he couldn’t sense her existence when she appeared in front of him before.
He thought that it was because she was an entity he didn’t understand, thinking it was one of her shenanigans that he didn’t understand, and he didn’t think too much about it…
But to think that was her plan all along…
To think she predicted it all.
No…
She didn’t predict it…
She saw it all.
She knew it all.
She knew what Azriel was going to say. She knew how he was going to act. She knew his desperation, and…
She knew how he was going to react.
She knew he wasn’t going to let her leave, so…
She never came here in the first place.
