Once Nathan entered the battlefield, the pace completely changed. He leaped from one roof to another.

When he saw a group of aliens, Nathan immediately sent forth his bullets, killing them. He couldn’t care less about the mature class aliens, considering they were not the main problem for him.

His power focused on killing multiple aliens more than fighting against one.

And Nathan didn’t just help the right side of the dock.

Once he cleared up a portion of the aliens, Nathan moved to the very edge of the port.

He witnessed how the aliens emerged from the water one by one.

Amphitrite’s power created turbulent water and guardians that could crush them, but it wasn’t enough.

Hence, Nathan activated his Machine Gun Version and hit them with everything he’d got.

The proto-class aliens were completely annihilated by those powerful bullets. Some who were fast enough, especially juvenile class or even mature class aliens, leaped outside the killing zone and tried to surround Nathan from a few sides.

Unfortunately for them, once they were about to reach him, Fenrir pounced on them and ripped them apart one by one. Even though it still took some time for Fenrir to kill a single mature class alien, he could overpower any juvenile class and kill it in just a few seconds.

In addition, Nathan occasionally helped him with his bullets, which made the battle easier for Fenrir.

With Selena and Flora watching her back, Nathan could focus on eliminating as many aliens as possible.

Once he noticed the reduction in the alien’s number coming to the right side of the dock, he immediately moved to the middle, helping the normal soldiers.

Fortunately, the summoners under Lena were strong enough to hold them back. Besides, there were close to thirty summoners with various ranks under her.

They stationed themselves in the middle, with half of them going to the left side. Some remained in the middle, while the rest went to the right side to catch any aliens that slipped past Selena and Flora. Unfortunately, they couldn’t do much because they knew Flora was there.

At the very least, with the help of the summoners, the situation had become a bit more manageable. The warriors also positioned themselves strategically, allowing the summoners to do anything they wanted.

The summoners unleashed everything they had and threw it at the enemies. This might be what was supposed to happen if the summoners on the front line didn’t have to save their ena.

They would keep throwing their abilities at them until these aliens died.

Nathan couldn’t help but glance at the sea.

Duchess Lena swung her sword at the warrior class alien, but before she could complete her swing, another warrior class alien came to her and struck her blade with his own blade-like black arm.

Then another warrior class alien struck her from behind, forcing her to jump into the air as the rest of the aliens tried to drag her into the water.

Her familiars wanted to help her, but they had to fight their respective opponents as well. At least one warrior class alien would be accompanying them. And with enough numbers, even with their strength, the familiars couldn’t break through to help their summoner.

Nathan knew that the duchess would be locked in battle against the warrior class aliens for a long time.

However, it was a good thing for their side as well. With the duchess grabbing the attention of all the warrior class aliens, defending the city would be much easier.

Last but not least, the elite class alien. After reaching the shore, the elite class alien had lowered its pace considerably due to the constant bombardment from Duke Coline.

Still, the elite class alien could recover just fine with all that attack. At this rate, Duke Coline would have exhausted his stamina before taking down the elite class alien.

Nathan noticed one thing, though. He was quite confused as to why the duke had yet to summon his familiars.

This whole time, he had been fighting on his own. Unlike the Sword Saint, Duke Coline should have several familiars, no, at least one familiar, which was his lifebound familiar.

Hence, Nathan realized that the duke hadn’t gone all out this whole time. He was buying time for an unknown reason.

Nathan couldn’t help but glance at the duke, wondering what he was trying to do.

“Oops. It appears I’ve been found out,” Duke Coline muttered inwardly.

“Coline. Everything is ready.” A humanoid creature with only its upper body approached him. His body was made of blazing fire.

Duke Coline nodded. “That’s good. Should we begin?”

“Are you done with your observation?”

“Yes. I can understand why His Majesty is giving away his most talented child to that person. His achievement in academics is good, but I don’t care much about it.

“All I care about is his strength. It does seem that Flora has made a tremendous improvement. Her way of fighting has changed as well. And that seal… it’s so familiar that I feel like I have seen it somewhere. Nevertheless, Flora should be able to achieve more now that she has gained the freedom she dreams of.

“Meanwhile, this guy must have multiple wives, but I’m not a hypocrite, as I have several wives myself. With his wisdom, he should be able to lead a good family.

“At least there’s no need for me to interfere with their decisions. As for the danger… we all have to face dangers that can come in any form, but I believe they have the abilities to overcome them.

“I will acknowledge this person as the one chosen by Flora. Now that I’m finished with my observation, it’s time for us to take down the elite class alien. Still, since we’re looking for the prospective groom for Flora, I should show off a bit. I will be the main this time. You will be the medium.”

“Alright.” The fire humanoid nodded.

Duke Coline smiled and leaped into the sky.

“!!!” Nathan widened his eyes in surprise. The duke finally made his move. To his surprise, the duke disappeared. “Huh? Where is—!”

Nathan suddenly turned to the side as Duke Coline appeared beside him with his hand patting Nathan’s shoulder.

More importantly, he saw five familiars appearing around him.

“Boy. Go back to the right side. The battlefield will become chaotic from now on. And watch this battle closely. I hope it can give you some insights.” Duke Coline grinned excitedly.
