Flora’s expression brightened.

Nathan suddenly lifted her up, which startled her.

Nathan just walked silently until they entered their room before he said, “I know I might have missed the chance to create that atmosphere, but there is one thing I’d like to say.

“I don’t really like getting entangled in politics for a few reasons. However, if I’m going to start something, I’d like to see it through to the very end.

“For you to abandon everything just for me, I’m truly blessed in life. I just hope that you’re able to get along with the others and vice versa.”

Nathan paused for a moment before saying in a deep tone. “In exchange, I will make sure you are happy and live a fulfilled life. I will do my best to be fair and create a future where all of us can smile at the very end.

“That’s why… my princess… No, Flora. Please give me the opportunity to mess with your life and show you the beauty of a common yet fulfilled life.” Nathan looked Flora in the eye, showing that he meant every word he said.

It was a commitment for her, especially since she chose to abandon her royalty status in exchange for this life. Though she had already made that decision long ago.

“In that case, please show it to me now.” Flora wrapped her arms around his neck while smiling brightly before planting a kiss on his lips.
