“Stingers.”

Nathan fired his combination bullet at Leon.

Leon had experienced Nathan’s bullets once when he bombarded him. And there was one way to deal with it.

He waved his sword and created a gale to sweep the incoming bullets away.

It would have worked if he didn’t use the normal bullet in the mix. After all, the reason he combined the explosive bullet and the normal bullet was so that he could have the explosion as well as the control.

Hence, the moment Nathan saw that gale, he immediately controlled his bullets to get away.

Although sluggish, the majority of the bullets managed to loop around.

“!!!” Leon had just realized the predicament he was in. The moment those bullets looped around, he hurriedly released a wind wall around him like a dome that would protect him from these bullets.

However, each bullet exploded, causing a disruption in the airflow. The moment that wind dome disappeared, the bullet would hit their target.

Leon’s face turned pale. He hurriedly leaped around while putting his sword in front, receiving some bullets with that sword.

Fortunately for Leon, he still survived. He stood up while thinking, ‘This doesn’t look good. I can hear a lot of commotion far away, but there are sounds coming from beasts.

‘They must be helping the soldiers to take down my minions. With these two working together against me, I will really have no chance of winning. Escape?

‘Should I go to the opposite side and grab those kids who help them? Or should I wreak havoc inside the city?’

Leon was trying to find the most optimal solution to guarantee his life, but the future truly looked bleak.

And the moment his momentum disappeared, Fenrir pounced on him.

“You’re annoying.” Leon shouted while hitting Fenrir with his blade. Fenrir took every single attack and maintained this distance so that Leon couldn’t escape.

Flora hurriedly moved around while releasing her lightning strike. Of course, she hid some traps around. Leon would have a hard time keeping track of them since he was pressured from all sides, while Nathan memorized their placements carefully because this was how they were going to win.

Fighting Leon felt easier than fighting Alan, not because he was weaker, but because his wind didn’t have that much advantage against his bullets.

‘The spirits should be able to hold on. However, the enemy’s familiars might attempt a suicide attack in order to save their summoner. In that case, I will have to push him away as far as possible to get enough distance from his familiars.’

Once that thought appeared, Nathan immediately used Spectre and Bolt at the same time.

He sent forth the Bolt while shooting the normal bullets upward.

“!!!” Leon hurriedly got away from Fenrir as those bullets passed him and surrounded Leon.

Leon waved his sword to create another glance to mess up with the big bullets, but the normal bullets suddenly fell on top of him.

Even Leon would have a hard time dealing with them since he had to focus on one.

‘The smaller ones have a higher maneuverability while the big ones have power. In that case…’ Leon waved his blade upward, creating a gale as wide as possible. He swept away all the normal bullets.

Then he put his sword in front of him, using it as a shield.

“Kh.” Leon had a hard time blocking it as the bullets continued pushing him back. However, he showed no sign of losing the grip on his sword, so he should be able to stop it somehow.

What he didn’t expect was that when the bullets pushed him back, they literally brought him to a spot where Flora placed her trap.

All of a sudden, a magic circle appeared out of thin air and let out a spark.

“Aaaahhhh!” Leon wailed in pain as his grip loosened, which allowed the big bullets to break through his defense. ‘This freaking trap…’

Leon gritted his teeth, enduring the pain. He tilted his body at the last moment to avoid certain death, but the big bullets still hit his side and right arm.

With the arm gone, the sword fell down to the ground.

Leon wanted to grab it, but Fenrir pounced on him, forcing Leon to get up and kick Fenrir.

Flora looped around him and sent forth a lightning bolt. Leon managed to form a wind shield to stop her lightning bolt, but with Fenrir right in front of him, he couldn’t do more than that.

And it was time for Nathan to attack him with normal bullets. The bullets scattered, making it hard for him to block.

Even Leon should be at his limit at controlling his wind, especially after losing that arm. That was why there was no way another wind barrier would deflect his bullets.

Hence, he simply sent the normal bullets so that he could seal off any potential escape routes.

Leon suddenly retracted his wind from his hand and chose to endure the lightning. Then he raised his hand and slammed it to the ground, using the last bit of his power to scatter his wind, which would push away the normal bullets from himself.

Nathan couldn’t help but smile. This was nothing but a distraction. The moment he showed his back, Fenrir hurriedly swept in.

Leon grabbed the sword on the ground and blocked Fenrir’s paw with his one hand, but Fenrir simply pushed him down and pinned him in his position.

“!!!” Leon widened his eyes in shock. He realized what they were aiming for.

Flora approached him from behind with lightning sparking in both her hands.

Flora hit his spine with both of her palms. “Haaa!”

The lightning was discharged and electrocuted him, along with frying his organ.

“Gaaahh!” Leon screamed in pain as his eyes rolled back. Two of his familiars broke free and wanted to stop them, but the fire and lightning spirits stopped their attempts at the last moment.

Flora placed her palms on his back and released all the lightning she could muster.

“Aaaahh…” Leon’s scream gradually faded as he fell to the ground, dying.
