SUMMONERS WAR: ONLY I SUMMONED DIVINE BEASTS
Chapter 696 - 696: Hidden BulletsAlan gritted his teeth and hurriedly emerged from the wall before leaping back toward Nathan. He had underestimated Nathan a bit too much, especially his familiars.
Even though the zombie was the weakest, he didn’t expect him to kill it in an instant.
“You bastard!” Alan was furious. The other summoners were also ready to attack, but Alan simply sped up.
Nathan summoned another cube on his right hand, which made a lot of summoners raise their defense.
However, Alan formed his weapons and extended them like a whip, attacking Nathan from two sides.
“!!!” Nathan looked surprised and hurriedly canceled his attack. His right hand immediately deployed a barrier to block the sword coming from the right, while his left hand grabbed and lifted up his coat.
“Attack his familiars!” Alan shouted. He didn’t care about fighting Nathan by himself anymore. He just wanted Nathan to feel the same thing as him after losing his familiar.
With Alan switching to a mid-range attack, he should be able to stop Nathan for a bit, giving them the precious few seconds to aim for Nathan’s beasts.
Without hesitation, they all switched targets. They thought about hitting the dragon or the wolf, but there might not be an immediate result due to the gap in their strength.
On the other hand, Jinwu and Anubis were a much more tempting option. If they took down Jinwu, they could blind them again. Without the sunlight, there was no way they would lose.
Meanwhile, Anubis looked like he was the weakest among the four of them. Hence, the summoners split into two, focusing on their respective targets.
“Watch how your familiars is going to die.” Alan grinned. His heart became more and more twisted.
Unfortunately for him, Nathan had been waiting for the exact moment. The reason Nathan was so confident in facing them as well as the other summoners was none other than the fact he hadn’t used his left hand this whole time.
If Ricky were still alive, he would have known the reason. But it was already too late for these summoners.
The moment they shifted their focus, Nathan controlled the bullets he had hidden this whole time.
They all pierced through the wall, surprising everyone. Of course, the first one to notice it was Alan.
“!!!” Alan widened his eyes in shock before shouting, “Watch out!”
The summoners didn’t understand what he was talking about, but the moment they sent forth the familiars and their respective attacks, it was too late.
Several familiars protected them or even tossed them in order to let them survive, but four summoners and ten familiars ended up getting shot.
They all wailed for a split second before their bodies fell to the ground. They simply didn’t expect there would be another wave of bullets. There was no way they could prepare for something like that after seeing it for the first time.
The only survivor ran out of luck. Anubis had been preserving two mummies this whole time to help Nathan. But it didn’t seem he needed it, so he sent those two mummies toward this summoner.
The mage mummy released a bolt of dark arrow, forcing the summoner and his last familiar to block it. In the end, he was just an elite summoner, according to the new classifications.
He had a hard time blocking the mummy attack when he could only release several hundred to a thousand ena at once.
After using everything they’d got to block it, the mummy assassin suddenly appeared behind him and sliced his neck. With this, all five summoners that targeted Anubis had just been eliminated.
Nathan smiled as everything had gone according to the plan. Nathan and Jinwu had agreed to fight Alan, the demon, and the rest of the summoners after all.
“What?” Leon was the one shocked by the loss. There was no way everything they had built so far crumbled just because of two people, who were theoretically weaker than them.
Leon’s eyes turned bloodshot as he struck Flora with all his might.
“Discharge!” Flora slammed the sword to the ground, but Leon simply overpowered her, using the last bit of energy. Even if he couldn’t cut her down, he would launch her to the building several meters away with his strength alone.
“Gah.” Flora clenched her fists as blood leaked out of the corner of her lips.
Anubis hurriedly healed her so that she could continue fighting. Even so, it would be extremely hard to stop Leon the way he is now.
After all, Leon was exuding such a murderous aura and ena to the point where Flora thought he had lost his reason.
On the other hand, Alan hurriedly struck Nathan from far away, not letting him escape. He didn’t expect Nathan to hide such a thing the whole time. Then again, he was the one holding the initiative during the entire battle.
“Die!” Alan waved his blade from the same direction.
Nathan glanced to the side, knowing that the shield wouldn’t be able to withstand the concentrated attack from Alan.
Hence, he jumped into the air while forming another wave of bullets with his right hand.
Alan wouldn’t let Nathan have this chance. He simply kicked upward, extending another blade from his foot.
“!!!” Nathan was forced to jump away in the air, albeit the blade struck several bullets, which caused a small spark that destabilized the remaining bullets.
After that, Alan waved the two blades in his hand one more time, trying to surround Nathan so that he couldn’t escape this time.
Still, there was one thing that could match Alan’s speed in turning the ena into a certain form, and that was none other than his gun.
Nathan revealed his gun and shot the incoming blades with a massive beam due to the new discharge technique and the gun’s enchantments.
The beam overpowered the blades and even shattered them, albeit he might have underestimated Alan a bit.
All of a sudden, his bullet was split in two, revealing Alan with a single long sword. His specialty was indeed in the ‘Form,’ but he made it unique by changing the amount of ena he concentrated in it.
