A week had passed since Ethan repaired Luna’s Magic Circuits.

When everyone in the academy found out that Luna could now use Moon Magic outside the night of the full moon, the majority of them—especially her friends, were truly happy for her.

She only told them that Ethan had discovered a special potion in the Treasury of Atlantis. This potion repaired her Magic Circuits, allowing her to use Moon Magic without any problems.

Naturally, some of the Duds, who heard about this potion, asked Ethan if he still had more.

Sadly, the potion didn’t exist to begin with, but Ethan couldn’t tell them this, knowing it would lead to more questions.

So, he said that the potion was unique, and there was only one of its kind in the treasury.

Even the means to concoct it were not known, so he didn’t know how to produce more.

Although they were disappointed, they believed that such a miraculous potion was indeed extremely rare and very hard to find.

As the days passed, Ethan regularly went to his classes, just like any ordinary student in the academy did.

At the moment, the most popular professor in the academy was indisputably Professor Godfrey.

Even Ethan had to admit that the Vampire Lord’s lessons were very interesting and entertaining.

"Godfrey is sly and a schemer too," Ethan commented. "Maybe they realized that they have many things in common and hit it off?"

A giggle escaped Illumina’s lips because this was indeed very possible.

"Well, if they ever became a couple, then I’ll be happy for the two of them," Illumina stated. "Everyone wants to find that special someone, and although both of them have probably had their share of relationships in the past, they might not have found Mr. and Mrs. Right."

For a brief moment, Ethan thought that Illumina was going to say Mr. Ghost. Only Baradiel and Nicole used this nickname, and usually, they would only use it in private.

"I just received a report from the Ocean Races that all the Kings and Queens of the Sea have agreed to join the Alliance to fight against the Invaders from another world," Illumina said. "However, the battles that they will fight are limited to the sea. As for the battles on land, you guys have to handle it on your own."

"That’s understandable," Ethan replied. "As long as they agreed to the Alliance, that is all that matters."

Truth be told, the one that had called a grand meeting for the various Kings and Queens of the Sea wasn’t Ethan.

It was none other than the Progenitor of the Sea, Leviathan.

Illumina’s father, King Betram, had informed his daughter about the result of the meeting.

"Ethan, it’s me."

"Come in, Samantha. The door is not locked."

The young lady entered the room and immediately saw the young man lying comfortably on Illumina’s lap.

Samantha was just about to approach the two when she heard Ethan mutter something that made her body stiffen.

"Black lace… quite bold," Ethan muttered.

A pout appeared on the young lady’s face before she walked towards Ethan, sat on the couch, and lightly pinched his cheek, making Illumina giggle.

The Mermaid Princess knew that Ethan was just doing this to tease Samantha because her reaction was quite cute.

Even so, she also understood that this was the young lady’s way of testing whether Ethan was taking a peek at her undergarments out of instinct.

Truth be told, Ethan only did this to Samantha, because this lover of his always asked him to tell her what color underwear she was wearing during the first few weeks after they became an official couple.

He was so used to it that he’d do it almost out of instinct, making her feel embarrassed.

"When will you stop having this hobby?!" Samantha asked in a face filled with injustice.

"Um, sorry," Ethan replied, looking apologetic. But deep inside, he was praising this shy and cute lover of his for her good taste.

After making her complaint known, the young lady finally told Ethan why she came.

"Lily’s pregnancy is going smoothly," Samantha said. "After a discussion with her, she said that she will be returning to Soutshire in a month."

"A month…" Ethan felt a bit sad after hearing this news.

Samantha nodded. "Of course, she can stay for a bit longer. According to my calculation, a month and a half is still fine. But in order to prevent any rumors and complications, she decided to leave earlier."

"Understood." Ethan sighed. "Thank you for always being there for her."

"I also feel sad because I won’t be there when she gives birth," Samantha, who had already formed a close relationship with Lily and Chloe, said sadly.

Ethan’s cousin, who was also at Jaeger Manor, was keeping close watch to Lily’s condition as well, and would always be there whenever Samantha did her regular check up.

"Before I left, she was already writing a letter to her Father," Samantha answered. "I also passed the message of her decision on to Lyall and Conall. I’m sure her mother will also know about her decision very soon."

Illumina sighed internally because she also wanted to hold Ethan’s first child. Although she would eventually give birth to Ethan’s children, she had decided long ago that she would treat all of Ethan’s children as her own as well.

This was similar to how Leah, Lily’s mother, treated Lyall and Conall as her own children.

The three then talked about a few more random things before Samantha took the initiative to invite Ethan to go on a date with her that weekend.

Naturally, Ethan was more than happy to agree to Samantha’s proposal.

With this, Samantha left the room happily, leaving Ethan and Illumina behind.

A minute after she left, Ethan thought of something but hesitated to ask the Mermaid Princess about it.

However, Illumina noticed his hesitation, and decided to lightly pinch his nose.

"Spill it," Illumina said. "What’s troubling you?"

A sigh escaped Ethan’s lips before he finally asked the question that had been nagging at him for the past few days.
