Inside a secret room in the King's Palace, Averon paced around with his hands behind his back. The elves were silently looking at Splennar and Ivan.
''If she didn't have it, then who else has?'' Isaac seemed frustrated.
He had come here hoping he would find some clues about the Life Elixir. But the only two who had returned from the subjugation mission didn't know a thing about that treasure.
After killing Minerva, they burned her body. The undead under the necromancer had all entered a state of inactivity since then, according to the Court Mage.
Those beings required the mana of a necromancer to sustain themselves. Currently, the undead were still in the dungeon with the other monsters or so the prince reported.
Splennar had lied a lot since a young age. Being a useless child, that was one of his remarkable skills.
According to him, they hadn't reached the lowest floor of the 2nd Tier dungeon because there were more dangerous monsters. He exaggerated the fact that even they couldn't go past the 40th floor where Minerva was hiding.
To not make the elves have thoughts of going there, Ivan added that the floor was destroyed because of the tremendous battle.
This left Isaac extremely conflicted. Before coming here, he had also sought help from diviners but nothing came out of it.
Jake's inventory was a whole another dimension, so of course they would get no clues about it.
''So is it lost?'' Issac looked outside through a window and sighed.
What would he tell the princess now? That he was incompetent and couldn't handle the treasure she'd entrusted to him? Why must it be like this?
Isaac glanced at Splennar and Ivan again. He memorized the faces of both of them and beckoned the other elves.
As they began leaving, Averon said from behind, ''My friend, if you need any help in this matter, just remember us.''
Isaac stopped and turned around. All elves bowed to the human king and left the secret room. Something about their stiff faces told Splennar that they weren't happy.
The elves suspected that both were lying, but they couldn't just accuse these humans in their domain.
Isaac wasn't going to give up this early. He would dig up everything about what happened to William Dorstone. He wouldn't let the princess down, wouldn't make her cry again.
…
''Congratulations!''
''Congratulations, Riri. You're a mother now.''
Everyone was gathered around the bed on which Riri was laying, smiling weakly.
About two weeks had passed since Ivan informed Jake about what happened in the King's Palace.
The atmosphere inside the Dungeon of Sin was cheerful lately. All five pregnant women had given birth now, with Riri being the last.
She had complications during her delivery due to her small hip size, but the village women handled it expertly. This was not the first time they had to deal with such a case.
Even in the villages, there were multiple times where a young, petite girl would get pregnant. They would mostly be around 15-16, though Riri was 20.
Holding her son, she looked at Jake. He went forward and stroked her hair.
''You did great.''
Hearing him, Riri passed the baby to Jake. He held his son and showed the baby to others.
Jake stood up, and the infant began crying. This one's cry was sharp and powerful, filled with vigor.
''I name him Eren,'' Jake announced, holding the baby high. As a father, it was his job to give his son an identity.
Everyone cheered again.
That night, Jake held another feast to celebrate the successful delivery of his new five children.
Other than Riri, Diana also had a son whom Jake named Owen. Amelia, the young catgirl, gave birth to a daughter. It was surprising to find that the infant also had cat ears, but not the silver ones like her mother's.
Nyx's ears were black. It was most likely the effect of his demon genes.
The remaining twin priestesses both birthed a girl each. Jake let them choose a name for the daughters as they already seemed to have one. Mary named her daughter 'Layla' while Numa went with the stylish name 'Sthena.'
The next morning, Jake told all women with children to shift to larger, separate rooms.
A lot of things were arranged. Thankfully, there was enough space and spare rooms in his underground palace. Thousands of people could fit here.
Around the afternoon. Inside his personal chamber, Jake was reading a book written by an influential writer of the Auximore Empire which neighboured the Grimbow Kingdom. He found that there was a lot to know from books alone.
This one, in particular, was very interesting because it talked about the beginning of the world. The author also seemed to have a magus background.
''So I'm in the Origin World?'' Jake muttered to himself as he turned the pages.
The writer of this book said that the Universe consisted of the Origin World and the Abyss which broke into Hell and Underworld. There was no mention of Heaven the Church of Light preached about.
Jake took what was written here with a grain of salt even though there were a lot of citations. He agreed with the fact that Abyss had broken into Hell and Underworld, but everything else was out of his knowledge sphere.
Jake shut the book and threw it at a nearby desk. Just as he got up from the bed, he saw Yunna entering his room.
''M-Master…'' She walked up to his bed and sat beside him, rubbing her left foot with her right one.
Jake looked at her and blinked. He could sense that she was a little… horny.
It hadn't been that long since she delivered her child, so he was avoiding from having sex with her. However, Yunna's nature as a succubus resurfaced after she gave birth.
''I… Uh…'' She leaned on her master's body and pressed her assets on his chest, biting her lips.
Looking up, she found Jake intensely staring at her milky breasts.
