Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?
Chapter 1665 1665: Trying Out New Abilities—–
Agua’s physical strength was confirmed to have increased even in her face form, as she was made to lift and destroy giant stone boulders that Aquarina’s mom had created. In her latest strength test, Agua was only able to lift boulders the size of ten meters and destroy them with at least four to five punches.
More than that, and she would get progressively more tired, and her hands would hurt a lot. She often times thought she was a weakling, but her mother reassured her that strength wasn’t just in physical form, and that her magic was perhaps many times stronger, and she wasn’t wrong.
But now that her Magic and her Spirit Power merged into her very body, things completely changed for the young Priestess, as she was confirmed to be able to easily lift boulders three to four times the original size of her initial test using her normal arms!
And when using her “Aqua Arms” as she renamed them after thinking “Water-Arms” sounded a bit stupid, she could easily lift almost ten of these giant boulders with each one of her arms, the strangest thing was that their weight didn’t make her smaller body fall or something, somehow her Aqua Arms could distribute the weight across her arms, which she expanded several meters in length to lift as many as possible.
They also tested this, how far she could stretch her Aqua Arms now, and Agua managed ton learn she could do so almost infinitely, of course, the longer she stretched the more she burned through her Mana, so she had to be extra careful not to overly stretch her Aqua Arms and end up passing out due to Mana Over Usage.
However, although she technically had “no limits” the point where she would begin burning Mana dramatically was around fifty meters of length per arm. And yet even then, at fifty her Mana was already being used.
Without using any Mana though? The limit was fifteen meters, which was already very long! And more than she might ever need to anyway.
“Alright! Seems like we’re done with Aqua Arm test,” Aquarina nodded. “About your Aqua Hair or whatever you’re going to call it, what do you think it can do?”
“Hm, it should be similar to my arms, but it is much harder to control, I can use it precisely, but I can certainly grow it into a long and huge deluge of water, like a giant river splashing someone, or perhaps a wave?” Agua wondered. “Maybe I could divide it into tentacles that could do special things for me. It seems I cannot easily divide the flow of water for my arms, for example, but my hair is different, each strand can turn into a different flow of water easily…”
“Interesting, yeah, maybe you should begin practicing your control of your Aqua Hair then,” Aquarina nodded. “That’ll be really useful, imagine if you can turn them into giant fists, then you’ll have a lot of them! Or maybe wield a sword with each one of them? Then you’ll be able to unleash an endless barrage of attacks! Isn’t that cool?”
“I… Uh, I would rather not fight like that… I’ve never really liked sharp weapons…” Agua muttered, feeling a bit embarrassed.
“A-Ah! Well it’s fine either way! You’re a magician right, right,” Aquarina nodded. “But it never hurts to get stronger physically and learn some techniques, right? At the very least, Staff and Fist Techniques should be easy enough to learn. To channel the corresponding Magic and Aura Essence and then release it through a combination of physical movements, Aura, and Magic. That’s Techniques, if you were wondering.”
“Oh, so it’s like a Spell but you use your Physical Body to trigger it?” Agua wondered.
“Kind of, yeah,” Aquarina nodded. “Some Techniques though, use no Mana at all, others use Aura and Ki, the internal Life Force, Stamina, or Vitality Energy that flows inside of us. But the strongest Techniques, called Arts, use all Energies combined, and sometimes even Spirit Energy too, so having a Spirit can potentially boost your Techniques and Arts even more! A friend of mine, Zack, became much stronger after he contracted a Spirit. He was never that good at Magic, and he still kind of isn’t. Conjuring Spells isn’t his thing, but Techniques and Arts? He’s really good at that! Even more with his new Spirit, he changed a lot after getting one.”
“Oooh…” Agua nodded, understanding more all these things through Aquarina’s perspective and her tales. “I suppose I should learn more things then, if I want to survive… But carrying a lot of weapons might seem rather inconvenient for me. Maybe just turning my body into weapons could work?”
“Nice idea! Your arms can already become giant fists, so we could work into hardening them into some sort of ice, what do you think?” Aquarina wondered.
“Ice? I have not really practiced Ice Magic that much, I’ve always preferred to constant flow of Water,” said Agua. “But if you could teach me, Aquarina, then I could give it a try.”
“Nicely said!” Aquarina was enjoying being a coach for her friends. “I think it might be possible for you to channel your Spells into your Aqua Arms or Aqua Legs, even your Aqua Hair eventually. Try first with any Ice Spell you know, and then channel it into your right Aqua Arm.”
“S-Sure!” Agua nodded, a bit nervous but without lacking spirit, she started working diligently.
She conjured a small magic circle, which was of the Tier 2 Ice Magic Spell [Icicle Spear] and the infused its runes and magical essence into her arm through her natural Mana Manipulation Ability.
FLUOSH!
“Woah!”
Agua panicked a bit, seeing her entire Aqua-Arm freeze slowly, her flowing water form turned into fragile, cold ice, it also made her body feel slightly cold, which she wasn’t used to, but that her Physique could resist just fine at her level.
“Oh wow, it worked, Aquarina! It worked- Ah.”
However, Agua realized she couldn’t move the arm.
“I-I guess it didn’t worked like I wanted…”
