REINCARNATED WITH A GLITCHED SYSTEM: WHY IS MY MP NOT RUNNING OUT?
Chapter 1539 1539: Aliens—–
The clone attacked Silvia with everything it had, even as Khepri gored and tore apart her arms, she grew new ones and summoned the big blue hammer once more, swinging it down and releasing shockwaves with it.
The attacks were fast and precise, Khepri managed to intercept them with her metallic hands, rapidly firing beams of sunlight energy against the clone’s parasitic body.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“Gryyyaacck!”
The clone released a pained groan of agony, before stepping back in agony and glaring at Khepri and Silvia with a furious glare, it seemed it was growing tired of struggling.
“Yeah, that’s more like it! There’s no place to escape,” said Khepri with a cocky smile. “Come here and fight!”
“SHAAAH!”
The clone gave a loud, monstrous hiss, as she leaped towards Khepri, only to step on her head and jump directly towards Silvia behind her.
“She’s aiming for me again! I guess she really wants to replace me or something?”
Silvia conjured magic, summoning several boulders of stone emerging from the ground, which her clone either swiftly evaded or crushed with her hammer.
“Replace… die!”
She reached Silvia again, swinging the massive hammer against the girl, who reinforced her body and strengthened her posture and stance, her entire skin turning silver in color, like metal.
“{Metallic Skin}”
CLAAANK!
The massive hammer impacted her with tremendous force, yet the girl remained alive, resisting the attack while the loud sound of metal echoed.
“You’re just some bad imitation at the end!”
Silvia rushed forward, kicking the monster in the face and then punching her in the stomach several times. The monster attempted to fight back, summoning a second hammer and using both with its arms, trying to overwhelm its host.
Yet Silvia didn’t gave in, quickly ducking to evade the incoming hammers from left and right, and then shaping her hammer, her Soul Weapon.
“Soul Weapons don’t have definite forms…!” she thought. “This is what Svana told me, they only mature much later so…!”
FLUOSH!
Her hammer transformed, turning into a beautiful golden spear, and piercing the chest of the clone monster.
CLASH!
“G-Graacckk!”
“Gotcha!”
Silvia smiled, only for the clone monster to transform into an amorphous mass of tentacles, spreading everywhere and trying to engulf her whole!
“DEVOUR… YOU…! BECOME… YOUUUU!”
“The hell?!”
Silvia panicked, summoning her stone spears from the ground and piercing the monster’s body, but that didn’t stop it, it simply kept moving, about to devour her.
Yet…
“Silvia!”
BAAAM!
Aquarina reached from above, crushing the monster with her weight, and splattering its entire body into the ground.
“Gryyeehh…”
As it struggled to live, Aquarina quickly manifested her abyssal energies, turning them into countless of blades.
“Fuck off and die.”
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
And then, Aquarina finished off the clone monster mercilessly, cutting every single tiny bit of its body, before setting it ablaze with purple flames.
BOOOM!
“Done…” she sighed, cleaning her hands. “Dammit I’m all sticky now… fucking hell.”
“Aquarina… thanks…” Silvia sighed in relief. “Ugh, Khepri! Where were you at?!”
“I’m right here!” said Khepri, arriving by Silvia’s side. “I guess Aquarina was a second faster… Sorry, this metallic body is slow at the end. If I make it faster with the wings, I need to use more energy and that’s a waste. But… I shouldn’t have hesitated.”
“You shouldn’t!” said Silvia, smacking the metal head. “Ugh, but is it done? Ah! Is Justicio okay? I think I saw him fighting a clone too!”
“I’m alright…”
Justicio walked towards them, sighing in relief as he looked at his friends and seemed relieved they were okay as well.
“Well that was really quite something,” said Aquarina, sighing. “And I haven’t ever met such a monster before. And that’s saying something when I’ve fought even True Demons that come from another whole dimension! Did you know they come from another dimension?”
“Woah, really?!” Silvia gasped.
“I don’t think this is the time to talk about that…” Justicio yawned. “Anyways, I think Khepri owes us some explanations, she knows something about these creatures.”
“A-Ah! Me?!” Khepri gasped. “What… do you mean…?”
“Don’t act like that, we know you were reacting strangely when you saw them,” said Aquarina. “My System can only tell me much about them… But are they called Code Name Doppelgangers or something?”
“How do you know their code names?!” Khepri gasped, suddenly covering her mouth the moment she spilled the beans.
Aquarina and Justicio glanced at one another.
“Aha! So you were indeed hiding something,” said Aquarina.
“Why are you hiding this though? What do you gain from not telling us?” asked Justicio. “I thought you had promised Silvia that you would protect her… But you’re acting strange.”
“I am protecting her!” Khepri said. “It’s just… I’m struggling processing my memories, and there’s things that… you may not like if I tell you, things that would make you think I’m your enemy when I’m not…”
“What? Just tell us already!” said Aquarina. “What are these things? You know right?”
“…”
Khepri remained in silence for some time, and then she sighed.
“Okay… I’m sorry Silvia for not telling you, but well, it just happened anyways! I was planning on telling you eventually…” Khepri said. “These things aren’t… from this world.”
“Eh?!”
The trio was shocked, although they were rare, these monsters… weren’t natives?
Terrarium was a world full of monsters and dangers though.
All kinds of beasts roamed every inch of the land, humans and the other tribes had to cultivate mana and their physiques to become strong enough to survive this world.
Weaklings that couldn’t cultivate, use magic, or learn weapon arts would eventually die eaten by monsters the moment they stepped into the wilderness.
That was a fact!
Therefore they assumed this thing was just some sort… of monster, nothing else.
Despite the weird name that Aquarina saw on its description.
“I’ve gathered a bit more data of who I am but… those things, yeah, there was some data about them as well,” Khepri said. “They’re xenomorphic lifeforms from another world, or planet, or outer space. Their true origins couldn’t ever be found, but they’re a hellish race of monsters from the stars.”
“T-The stars?! Like Sphynxiette?”
“No, worse… Sphynxiette and her people were just… people at the end, despite being aliens,” Khepri said. “The Doppelgangers are monsters that have consumed entire planets.”
